View Full Version : About certain CLAMP series

The series I want to discuss are X, Clover, Legal Drug or any other series that's on hiatus by CLAMP. I know they're busy with Tsubasa, but does anyone know when these series will be continued? I really want a conclusion to X and I'm wondering how much longer I have to wait.

Dunno too much about Legal Drug (they are planning to do new chapter but didn't say when) or Clover (which I thought was finish, but I didn't read or whatever), but I know their situation with the X manga.

The thing is that the publisher for the X manga, Asuka, didn't like the conclusion of X, saying it was "too violent" (although it seems that scenes of bodies exploding to bitty pieces for a sword or beheading wasn't violent enough) and not very happy. They wanted CLAMP to change it, CLAMP said no. Thus, no more X being made in the near future. This situation might've affected to Legal Drug to a certain degree since it's under Asuka also.

But now, I doubt they'll have the free time with Tsubasa, Holic and a new series debuting soon in the Japanese Newtype on their hands. We'll just hafta wait and see with this one.

Kobato is supposed to start up again in Newtype.

Didn't they say something in AX that they WILL finish X soon and that it will have 21 volumes total?

Whatever they do, they better finish X. It's not a series like Clover that can have no ending... I just hope they can skip the trouble dealing with Asuka and just release the takuban, or change publisher. ;)

I didn't know they were starting a new series. Cool! What's it about or do you know?
Back to the topic, that's too bad about X. CLAMP should go to whoever publishes Berserk. I don't think they'll give a damn if it's violent or not. :P
I hope they publish a new chapter of Legal Drug too. I'm interested in what's going to happen next.
