Silent Mobius

So, I've been trying to put this together.... Why is the series Silent Mobius called SILENT MOBIUS? I've tried to piece it together myself but it seems like I'm missing something.

I'm not exactly sure about where 'silent' comes from, although I heard a reference to the "silent crisis" early on in the series. And 'mobius' which I'm thinking refers to the Mobius Strip (which I've read up on before but forget what it is (something similar to the symbol for ifinity or something)), which is seen a few times in the series when Katsumi uses the dagger. Though I don't know why they're put together to form the title.

Could you possibly enlighten me?

It could refer to the fact that humanity continues on silently, disaster after disaster...or it might have just sounded good. I don't think there's a definitive answer.

This is like asking why Burst Angel has that name. It just does. You could attempt to make connections to the show, but really, it's just there to sound cool, as most titles are. *shrug*

There is a Mobius strip connected to the story, but it's completely Silent, so you can't know what or where it is.
