OK; basically, in this story, we're starting from Angel no.1 but with an alternative telling of the original story. If there are any objections, please tell them to me. If you want to join, make sure you do so first in the recruitment page.

Ishii walked down the street, a pass in his hand.

So... this NERV thing is why they need me here... in Tokyo 3?

I wonder if anyone else is envolved in this thing...

[The Million Dollar Prons]

Yori waited outside the Toyko 3 base, coffe mug in one hand, cigarrete held tightly in the same hand. Things were pretty calm in Tokyo today, hardly even a breeze in the air. Yori looked at his watch and continued waiting.

[Tidusauron12]

Ishi continued on his way walking, but because everything was so boring, he actually started to read while he was walking. Unknowingly, he walked right into some random guy. WHO HAD A CIGAR IN HIS MOUTH!

(Prons, I hope I made that clear enough, lol.)

"S-sorry sir."

"Watch it!" Yori snapped, and then studied the youngster.
"Oh, you're the Ishi kid?" Yori asked.

[Tidusauron12]

Ishi nodded. "Yes Sir!" He bowed in apology. "Are you my guardian? I don't really know much about you..."

[The Million Dollar Prons]

'll be your guide through the wonderful world of being a NERV employee." Yori said and smirked.
"Come." Yori said, sipping his coffe, and leading Ishi into the NERV building and eventually onto
a large elevator platform.

[Tidusauron12]

Ishi looked at the man. "You can call me Sasouke... I guess."

Man... I don't know if I should trust this guy...

ishi looked at his suroundings. "Man... this place looks expensive."

[The Million Dollar Prons]

"Oh, you havn't seen the half of it." Yori said, as the elevator slowly descended, as it moved downward, suddenly a breath taking view of the NERV GeoFront comes into view.

"Cool ain't it? This underground cavern is essentialy NERV's base of operation." Yori said.

[Tidusauron12]

Ishi's jaw practically fell off. "WOW! This place is awesome! It's a real geofront!" He looked from the base, to Yori, then back to the base. "How do you know so much about this place? Do you work here? Why am I here? Is anyone else coming!?"

"Heh, you're really interested in this!" Yori said.

"Yes, I work here, and there are a few people coming for the same reason as you. They may already be waiting for us, or we may be a little early." Yori said, and looked over at the GeoFront, the elevator ride was always a nice experience no matter how many times he's done it.

[Tidusauron12]

He continued to look out at the view. "But why exactly am I here?"

[Darksora]

Megami stopped at the stop sign, as some cyclist drove by. "I hope I'm not to late..." She continued across the road, and closer to NERV HQ.

[max payne]

Kikan walked down the road toward the nerv HQ "Yeah, looks like the right place." he threw his cigarette behind him and kept walking toward it.

[Darksora]

As Kikan walked, he heard a scream come from behind him. "AH! My leg!" Megami fell to the ground, knocking the burning cigar off of her leg.

[max payne]

Kikan turned around, "Sorry, lady." he offered his hand to help her up "You alright? I didnt mean to throw my cigarette at you."

[Darksora]

She smiled. "Oh, no, that's ok, I should've watched where I was going." SHe got up. "My name is Tetsurada Megami... I'm new around here... and i'm kind of lost..."

[max payne]

Kikan smiled back "What you looking for?" he asked "I might be able to help you if your lost."

[Darksora]

"I'm actually headed for a place called NERV... if you know aout a place like that... maybe you could point me the way?"

[max payne]

Kikan pointed toward the Nerv HQ "I'm heading there too actually."

[Darksora]

She arched an eyebrow. "Is that so? Well, I guess we can head there together!" She smiled at him, and then they continued, walking together.

Yori lead Sasouke into a pretty standard looking room, with beige sofas, a coffe table covered with old magazines, and a turned off television doing nothing more than collecting dust.

"So, I guess we're early. After all."

A car approached the two. Two men in black suites were in side. On stuck his head out the window. "You two... please enter the car, now. We will be taking you the rest of the way to NERV."

(Lol, to DS and MP.)

Yori lead Sasouke into a pretty standard looking room, with beige sofas, a coffe table covered with old magazines, and a turned off television doing nothing more than collecting dust.

"So, I guess we're early. After all."


"So... what do we do now?"

Kikan turned to the 2 men "Really?" a warning from the orphanage teacher came to mind
"Never get into a car with complete strangers." Kikan shook it off "Right..."

After they entered, the car skid off in the opposite direction of NERV. One of the men turned around with a gun in his hand. "Now listen, kids, I want you to shut up, or I will shoot."

He tied them up pretty fast, and they continued off in the opposite direction of NERV.

Kikan was still grinning like an idiot "So, this is why you shouldn't get in the car with strangers." he mused to himself out loud, he was trying figure out a way to get out of this. He thought about kicking the driver in the head but that would only end badly, either A. he get shot dead or B. the driver would crash the car.

[Tidusauron12]

The man with the gun smiled. "You kids are from NERV, right? I bet they'd pay big bucks to get you back. Heh!"

[max payne]

"Actually no." he lied "My dad is just the cleaner there and I was going to visit him." it was a lame lie, but he tried it anyways

[Tidusauron12]

"Listen kid, Shut up!" He hit him with the gun. "Do you really think we're that dumb!"

[max payne]

Kikan shut up after that, he devoted all his concentration into thinking a way out. It seemed pretty bleak, he wondered if the girl had any ideas.

[Tidusauron12]

Megami cried. "Please! Don't kill us!"

The man smiled. "Looks like we can have fun with you later, baby! But for now, shut up!" He hit her in the mouth with his gun.

Megami looked at the Kikan, showing him a knife behind her arms.

[Tidusauron12]

Ishi sat in NERV HQ. "Hm..."

I wonder what's taking the others so long... the meeting was supposed to be an hour ago...

[max payne]

Kikan looked at the knife and tried to draw attention from himself trying to cut his ropes "You guys must seriously have issues. Hitting girls? Oh, your mothers must be soo proud!"

[Tidusauron12]

"Hey you!" He hit with the gun again. "I said keep quiet!"

[max payne]

Kikan cut the ropes but still pretended they were on, he started trying to cut the girl's ropes. "Or what? It's not like you can kill either of us without losing you "big bucks"!"

[Tidusauron12]

"Heh, if I shoot you in you leg or arm, it doesn't neccasarilly have to kill you, those it!?"

Megami looked at Kikan, a worried look in her eyes.

[max payne]

"You never know, I might bleed to death all over your nice car..." he had almost finished cutting the ropes

"You don't want that do you?"

[Tidusauron12]

"Heh, not stupid, are ya' kid? Well, eat this!" He shot Kikan in the shoulder with the gun. "heh... we aren't afraid to shoot punk-smart ***** like you!"

Megami screamed. "No! kikan-kun"

[max payne]

Kikan groaned and droped the knife, but he had finished

"Nothing... I can't handle." he thought to himself, but he did feel very dizzy "Sonnova..." he shook his head

[Tidusauron12]

Megami shrieked. "No!" She swung, and hit the man in the face with Kikan's knife, cutting his eye out of his face. He was dead instantly. The second man who was driving reached for a gun, but his head seemed to explode as he started to pull the trigger.

Megami screamed. The car went out of control, spinning through the streets. They had long ago past the city limits, so they crashed into a tree.

Kikan grabbed his seatbelt, the crash smashed him forward but nothing too major, other than a broken nose "Nice." he mumbled "What the hell happened to that guys head?" he thought to himself

[Tidusauron12]

When he got out of the car, he saw a man in black, holding megami's hand. "Are you Kikan Reigan?" In his other hand, he had a shotgun, that seemed to have just been used.

[max payne]

"Yeah, thats me..." he stumbled slightly "Who are you?" he stared at the shotgun "So... thats how." he thought to himself

[Tidusauron12]

"I'm a NERV agent. A real NERV agent this time."

He showed Kikan a car, there was another kid inside. "Come, we don't want anymore trouble."

[max payne]

Kikan shrugged "Alright, but I'll kill you if you screw me over." he said, half-joking. He got in the car

[Tidusauron12]

The man smiled as Kikan entered the car. "He must've gave those guys a hard time." He chuckled when he entered the car.

When Kikan entered the car, he noticed a girl with red hair. "So! You're one of the chosen children too?" She noticed his arm, she stared at it. "What's wrong? Hey! There's somthing wrong with his arm!"

Megami was crying.

[max payne]

"Yeah." he looked at her uncertainly "I'm geussing your "one of them" too, so who are you?" he asked, hiding his arm.

Kikan looked at Megami, he wasn't very good in these kinds of situations "Umm.. are you OK?"

[Tidusauron12]

"My name is Asuka Langley Soryu! Mind you! I'm part Japanese, and part german! I'm from America!"

(Can someone be these characters. I mean i'm not too good at reinacting the characters from NGE.)

Megami threw herself on Kikan, crying.

The nerv agent sighed. "Keep it together kids, we're almost at NERV."

[max payne]

(I'm not great at it either...)

Kikan was completely suprised by what Megami did, he had no idea what to do. "Come on... we're safe now, we gonna be at NERV soon..."

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka frowned. "Hey! Pay attention to me! You're the one injured, you should be the one getting sympathy!" She grabbed his wound really hard, it hurt bad.

The NERV agent sighed again. "Great, it's going to be a noisy ride."

[max payne]

Kikan growled and felt dizzy again "Don't do that! If someones hurt you don't make it worse!" he pushed asuka away from him.

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka scowled. "I though you were a man, but it seems you just wanna' mess with your little girlfriend." She looked out the window. "Fine."

[max payne]

Kikan shook his head "Ok, A: You have a warped sense of what a man is. B: She isn't my girlfriend. And C: I'll shoot you in the arm and see how you like it!" this Asuka girl pissed him off immensely

[Tidusauron12]

"I warped sense of what a man is? How can you say that to me when you're a sissy little boy! All you've done so far is cry about your skin wound and cry with your girlfriend! Does that sound like a man to you!?"

She smiled. "If you were a decent man, you'd have stopped her from crying by now." She looked at Megami.

[max payne]

Kikan growled agin "Get bent, *****..." he looked at Megami "Please stop crying, we're almost there now..." He knew he had the enotional range of a teaspoon

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka slapped him. "How dare you speak to Asuka Souryu like that!?"

The NERV agent stopped the car. "Ok, we're here. Get out."

Asuka smiled. "Great! I'm glad to get out of a closed space with these stooges!"

[max payne]

Kikan growled "Thank god..." he got out the car "You OK, Megami?" he asked

[Tidusauron12]

More agents came, but the most noticable person was a woman with black hair.

She looked at Kikan. "Get this boy to the medical unit!"

The agents nodded. "Comon' kid, we'll take care of the girl from here." They started to lead Kikan away from Megami. The woman saw Asuka.

Asuka smiled. "Katsuragi Misato-san!"

Megami screamed. "Kikan! Kian-kun! KIKUN!" She was totally panicked.

[max payne]

Kikan allowed himself to be taken by the agents "Don't worry..." he called to Megami.

"What the hell is going on?" he thought to himself

[Tidusauron12]

When he got to the medical unit, a doctor approached him with a gun. "Don't move, I am about to get the bullet out. He stuck the gun in Kikan's arm. Kikan felt pain as the gun removed the bullet. Soon, they had him all patched up.

The doctor smiled. "You won't be able to use that arm for about a week. Anyhow, you need to get to central dogma." Off with you...

The agent that drove the car came through the door. "Come on kid, we've got work to do."

[max payne]

Kikan followed the agent "What's centeral dogma?" he asked, he felt annoyed being left out of the loop

He smiled. "Just follow me, hothead." Soon, they reached an elevator.Kikan had just noticed how big NERV was. Then the elevator went down, below ground. Finally, the view of the Geofront came. Kikan saw all the sites to see... the Pyramid... the underground city...

The agent looked at kikan. "This is the geo front. The pyramid is central dogma."

[max payne]

Kikan was amazed by everything he saw "Man, this place is.. big." hs took a step back "What does the pyramid actually do?" he assumed centeral dogma was some kind of weapon or something

[Tidusauron12]

"It's not what Central Dogma does... it's what central dogma houses... atleast... that's the part in your interests." The elevator stopped. "Let's go." They went into a room which already had Asuka, Megami, Misato, and another boy in it.

Misato smiled. "Finally, we have the 1-6 children all gathered. Good."

[max payne]

(Is the other boy is Shinji?)

Kikan walked in "Errr... what the hell is going on?" he was really confused "Since when did I have a number?" he thought to himself

Misato smiled, I know there's alot you don't know... but I can explain all of it... you see...

Misato she explained everything to the kids.

Asuka frowned. "This sucks because I already knew about all of this... I just sat here and listened to something I've known for years!"

Kikan was silent for a moment "Right... and I'm supposed to beileve this how exactly?" he found it all very hard to beileve

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka smiled. "Oh you'll believe alright, sissyboy!"

[max payne]

Kikan reached into his pocket and took out a lighter "If you don't shut up, I'll set your hair on fire!" he growled
"Still, angels? Cheh, this is all some kind of joke isn't it?"

[Tidusauron12]

Shinji sat in a corner, not talking. It seemed he was listening to an mp3.

Asuka looked kikan in the face. "Why don't you try it!"

Misato sighed. "Dr.Akagi will be here soon to show you to your evas."

Asuka tried to grab Kikan, but she ended up ontop of him, on the floor. Everyone looked.

Asuka's eye widened. "GET OFF OF ME! PERVERT!"

[Tidusauron12]

Shinji walked out of the room, and no one even noticed. Shinji frowned when he was out of the room. "Just like I thought... no one even noticed me."

[max payne]

"ME?! YOU FELL ON ME YOU STUPID *****!" he yelled and threw his lighter in the air and pushed her off him "Thank you!" he growled and caught his lighter. He noticed the boy had gone

"You scared off that kid, Asuka." he growled again "Just, leave me alone until that doctor comes..."

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka looked at Kikan in a weird way, then she smiled and sat down in the corner.

Maybe he's more of a man than I thought.

Shinji sat in the corner of the hall, balled up into a small bun, listening to music. "No one cares about me..."

(Dammit Max, you're Shinji, remember!?)

Megami approached Kikan. "T-thank you for your help, earlier..."

[max payne]

Kikan smiled "I should be thanking you, your the one who stabbed that guy..." Kikan rembered that kid "Hold on..." he walked out the room and saw that kid that left.

"Hey, you Ok?"

Shinji looked up slightly "Yes..." he mumbled

"I think you should come back in now... I never did catch your name."

"Shinji Ikari..."

"I see, well come one Ikari, or you might miss whats gonna happen."

Kikan walked off, and Shinji also stood up and walked back in. Still silent. "So they did notice me..."

[Tidusauron12]

As soon as they came in, Asuka walked up to Shinji. "I almost didn't notice you last time. My name is Asuka Langley Souryu." What's yours?"

She completely ignored kikan, though he felt she still had some intentions with him. She got closer to Shinji. "You know, unlike your friend here, you're kinda' cute."

[max payne]

Shinji blushed furiously "I'm... Shinji Ikari..." and backed away slightly

Kikan tutted and walked over to a table. He kicked the chair into the air and sat down as it landed and put his feet up on the table "Man, where is this doctor?!" he said annoyed, he light his lighter over and over again, with his eyes on the "No smoking" sign and wondered if anyone would notice if he set it on fire.

[Tidusauron12]

A woman snatched the cigar from his hand. "The sign says no smoking." He turned to see Dr.Akagi. "And 'that lady' is me, Dr.Akagi."

She smiled at him timidly. Everyone looked at her.

Misato frowned. "It took you long enough, Ritsuko."

"Well, the tests took longer than expected, but now we can test all the children in their assigned evas."

Everyone, follow me. One by one, I'll drop you off at your hangars. Your instructors will tell you what to do from there."

[max payne]

Kikan tried to grab the cigarette from her hand "C'mon, thats my last one!" he groaned

Shinji took this oppourtunity to distance himself from Asuka and focus on the task at hand.

[Tidusauron12]

Dr.Akagi put it away in her lab coat. "I'll save this for myself, after I get off... it's just my type." She smiled at Kikan, smartly.

Asuka looked at Shinji. "He's definately not a man..." She walked away.

Dr.Akagi smiled at the group. "Now, if you would, follow me!"

Misato walked beside Akagi. "Where's the sixth children?"

"He's with his guardian. His testing has already began, they're in the EVA UNIT-06 hangar."

Misato let Akagi walk ahead of her. Why is she isolating Ishi from the others?

Ishi sat in the entry plug. "How are you doing?" Maya's voice.

Ishi smiled. "A little better... I guess I'm getting used to all this... LCL stuff."

"Good, taking test to phase 2." ...

Kikan walked behind misato and akagi "There's another huh?" he muttered to himself and constantly flicked his lighter on and off "Man, this is crazy..."

Shinji followed, trailing a little behind the group, listening to his music once more.

[Tidusauron12]

Megami looked back at Shinji, then she decided not say anything to him. When Shinji saw her, she looked quickly away.

Asuka walked proudly ahead of everyone. "I already know what hangar I'm in, because I've already been introduced to my Eva!" She looked back at Kikan and Shinji. "Unlike those so called men back there!"

[max payne]

Kikan smirked and threw his lighter at Asuka's hair "Don't say I didn't warn ya..." he really didn't like her, she made him feel so angry.

Shinji stared at Megami for a while but then turned to Kikan when he threw his lighter at Asuka's hair
"You.. You shouldn't do that..."
Kikan turned
"Relax, it's off." he replied truthfully

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka dodged the lighter. "Why you!" She watched the lighter hit the ground. "You guys are jerks!" Her hand slapped Kikan for the 2nd time.

Megami looked shyly at Asuka.

Akagi stopped. "4th children, this is your hangar." A man came from a rather large door and pointed at Megami.

"That's you... come with me."

Megami waved her goodbye to Kikan, and she was gone. After Megami was gone, they kept walking.

Asuka looked at Dr.Akagi. "Hurry it up, wouldja'!"

[max payne]

"Well you win the "hypocrite of the year award", congratualtions." he smirked and bent down to grab his lighter. He glanced at Megami "Good luck." he said quietly


Shinji kept his distance, in case a fight broke out between the two.

[Tidusauron12]

Ritsuko somehow managed to get the lighter before Kikan. "Keep causing such a hassle, and you won't have any luxuries to help yourself to." She kept walking. "A kid like you shouldn't be smoking anyways."

[max payne]

Kikan growled "Ya mom..." he muttered under his breath, and then realized how childish and stupid that insult was "I'm being provoked by Asuka!" he turned to Shinji "Hey, you saw it! She provoked me!"


Shinji was a little shocked by being asked his opnion on the matter and merely replied "I... Don't know."

"Dammit..." he growled and turned away.

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka smiled. "You can be provoked so easily! You're definately not a man! You're a little baby child! I guess you really do live up to the name 5 children !

[max payne]

Kikan walked up to her "I swear to god, if I was allowed to hit girls. You'd have a broken nose." he turned around and kept away from her "Just die. Just die somewhere." he pointed to bin "Over there maybe!"

Shinji was still silent but kept closer to the adults than the other children.

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka frowned. "Whatever..." She let him walk in front of her.

"Hey Ikari!" She put a hand around Shinji. "Didn't I tell you were cute!" She put her lips next to his face. "We should go out sometime."

Misato watched Asuka. She sure does know how to tease.

Akagi stopped. "Kikan Reigan." She looked at him. "This is your stop."

A man came. "Comon' kid."

Kikan spread his arms and looked at the sky "Thank you god!" and followed the man

Shinji blushed once more, and stuttered a few incoherent replies. "I... You... We..."

Kikan could hear and smirked "She's your problem now." he thought to himself

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka smiled. "Comon' Shinji... you know you think I'm attractive..."

Misato and Akagi just watched curiously.

[max payne]

Shinji blushed again "Yes..." he said finally and blushed even more

Kikan walked behind the man "I can't wait to see my EVA..." he thought to himself

[Tidusauron12]

The man opened a door. In front of him, Kikan saw his eva, a giant... robot like thing. It seemed to be looking at him. Another man approached him.

He waved. "You can call me Hyuuga. I work in the central terminal in central dogma. We'll explain everything later... for now, just enter the entry plug." Hyuuga pointed at a long tube. sticking out of the eva.

Asuka frowned. "Ikari Shinji... you're really no fun at all!" She walked away, leaving Shinji behind."

Akagi stopped. "Shinji-kun... this is your stop."

Asuka watched Shinji go. "I was going to let you have a present Ikari! But not anymore!"

Misato looked at Asuka. "Asuka, get to your hangar now!"

(Looks like I showed up late for this party, what's goin on with the Ishi\Yori side?)

Shinji was downcast as he entereed the hangar, he was also very confused.

Kikan stared at the EVA, "Heh... Jackpot." he laughed and walked to the entry plug "This right, Hyuuga?"

[Tidusauron12]

Hyuuga nodded. "Yep, just step through the door, we'll do the rest from there." He walked away.

Shinji was showed to his eva. "Please enter the eva." It was a crewmen.

Akagi looked at Misato. "Well... off to central command..."

Misato nodded. "Yep... let's go!"

[Tidusauron12]

(Looks like I showed up late for this party, what's goin on with the Ishi\Yori side?)

(Oh, hey prons, you're about 5 hours late... but yeah... you're at the central command center with Akagi and Misato. Ishi is experiencing his first eva operation) :P

"Just be calm kid." Yori tried to reasure Ishi. "This is gonna be a walk in the park."

[max payne]

Kikan entered the entry plug "Well, this is weird..." he thought to himself and sat down in the chair. "I wish that doctor hadn't taken my cigarettes..." he muttered

Shinji entered the plug without and complaint and said nothing, he wondered if his father was watching him.

[Tidusauron12]

Maya smiled. "Actually, he's already entered 3rd phase. His Synch has increased almost beyond Asuka's synch ratio. And it's continuing to rise!"

Misato arched an eyebrow. "What?"

AN alarm sounded. "His Synch has exceeded to 1,000%!!! That's impossible! The EvaUnit-06 is starting to move!"

Ishi screamed. "There's something in me! AHH!!"

[Tidusauron12]

Alarms went off through out NERV.

Gendo Ikari looked at the data stream. "It's an angel!"

Fuyutsuki's eye widened. "How can that be!"

The eva screamed, breaking through the testing grounds.

Misato screamed at Hyuuga. "Eject the pilot!"

Hyuuga screamed back. "We can't! The angel is rejecting our signals! The angel headed for us! It's trying to make contact with... the 3rd Impact!!!"

Gendo got up. "We can't use Rei! She's injured! We have no choice! Deploy all evas! We'll need them all to fight this angel!"

All evas got the message: "Attention ! An Angel has been detected in Central Dogma! Destroy it!"

[max payne]

Kikan looked around "What the hell?! I don't even know how to work this thing!" he grabbed onto the handles

Shinji gasped slightly and grabbed onto the handles "Don't run away..." he thought to himself.

[Tidusauron12]

While Shinji was trying to focus, EvaUnit-06 broke through the wall, and clamped down ontop of Shinji's Eva. It started punching him repeatedly, but Shinji didn't know it was the angel, he thought it was a seperate eva, not an angel.

[max payne]

Shinji tried to push the EVA off him "What's happening?! Isn't it on our side!"

Kikan was ready "Hey! Get me outta here so I can fight!"

[The Million Dollar Prons]

Yori puffed his cigarette, and laughed. "I feel sorry for whatever angel has to try to take on our badass robots." he said. His off-beat confidence was lost and ignored amongst the rest of the staff.

[Tidusauron12]

Shinji heard his father's voice. "Shinji! That's the angel!"

The angel's arm extended through wall and started choking Kikan's eva.

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka smiled. "Time to show everyone how good I am!" She busted through the wall and started running towards the angels location, destroying every wall in her path.

[max payne]

"Father?!" Shinji fought back harder trying to kick the angel off him

Kikan struggled with the controls, "What the hell, I feel like I'm actually being strangled?!" He thought, he panicked and started trying to beat the hand away from him

Asuka's eva appeared. "Don't worry! I'll save you wussyboy!" She kicked the hand off of Kikan's neck. "How's that, Kikan! I saved you!" Next Asuka cut off the arm of the angel. Then she heard a scream... a human scream.

[max payne]

"What... that sounded like a human, it's an EVA as well..." Kikan slowly put 2 and 2 together and came to the conclusion "Thats not an angel, that's a human!"

Shinji kicked the angel off him when the armwas cut off, he heard the scream as well "A human?"

[Tidusauron12]

Ishi screamed in his eva. He realized his arm had been severed, and the pain surged through his body.

"YORI!!! My arm! My arm!!!"

Maya frowned. "his synch with the angel/eva is too high! Anything that happens to the eva/angel happens to him for real!"

Ritsuko's eye widened. "Lower his synch ratio!"

Hyuuga shook his head. "Negative! The eva is rejecting the signal!"

Kikan got up "Think, think..." he refused to fight the EVA

Shinji got up and kept an eye on the "angel" in case it attacked him "Father! I won't fight another human!"

[Tidusauron12]

Gendo cursed. "They've found out... Asuka! Destroy that angel!"

Asuka looked at the angel... "But the pilot is..."

The angel grabbed Unit-05 and Unit-01 (kikan, and Shinji) And started banging them together. (with one arm.)

Finally, Asuka shot it with her rifle. "I have to fight!"

Megami just sat in her eva, crying into the LCL.

Kikan was dazed from the banging, and coughed a little. When he heard the gunshot, his arm shot out and pulled the angel out of the way.

Shinji was basically knocked out.

When Kikan, move the angel, it bit his arm right off. Kikan felt the pain immediately.

Asuka looked at Kikan. "You idiot! We have to kill it! Or everyone will die!" Asuka took out her prog knife and smashed into the angel.

Ishi screamed. "AH!!!!!! The pain! Help! Save me!!!" He cough up blood.

Gendo yelled. "Don't destory the angel here! The explosion of the angel's S2 engine will destroy all of the Geofront! You have to..."

Asuka cut him off. "I know what I have to do! I'm a woman!"

The angel let go of Kikan and Shinji. Asuka looked at Kikan. "We have to get this angel to the lift, and boost it out to the surface!"

Kikan didn't respond for a while "OK..." he rammed the angel with his left shoulder into the lift, "Damn..." he mumbled and tried to keep the angel on the lift. He felt like he was going to pass out "Megami, where are you?" he thought to himself

[Tidusauron12]

Misato screamed. "Get rid of that angel!"

Hyuuga pushed a button. The lift pushed Asuka and kikan along with the angel to the surface. The city had already lowered into the geo front.

The angel smashed it's fingers into Kikan's face, and kicked Asuka down, making her drop the prog knife onto Kikan. His other arm was severed instantly.

Kikan staggered backward and fell to his knees "Sorry... about this..." he mumbled and tried to keep himself concious, but he could barely manage it.

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka stood. "I have to kill it!!!" She picked up the knife, covered with blood. Quickly she dodged, and smashed the knife into the angel/eva's core. "AHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She pushed it deeper and deeper until...

The eva flew into the sky and exploded in a magnificent blast, that filled the sky. After it cleared, blood and chunks of mutated eva fell from the sky.

The staff at CD all looked at the monitor in shock. "Eva Unit06... I mean... the target is silent..."

[max payne]

"Asuka..." he mumbled "You murderer..." he fell to the ground and was silent.

[Tidusauron12]

Asuka's Eva was covered with blood. "I had to... I was ordered... I had to do my job... I couldn't just look... STUPID!!!" Her eva ran out of power, but it was so silent... Kikan could hear her cries.

Gendo smiled. "Fuyutsuki... those old men will have something to say about this..."

Yori's eyes widened. "Ishi! ISHI!!!" (Sorry prons...)

Kikan was dreaming he was sitting in the room where Dr. Akagi took away his cigarettes, he was sitting in his chair, everything looked like it was underwater. Asuka walked past, turned around and shot him in the head.

Shinji got up "What happened?"

Misato fumbled the words. "The a-angel... was destroyed."

Kikan woke up in his EVA, "Asuka, no!" he yelled out and he realized he was awake sat down in his EVA "Why am I here?"

"But the angel was a human!" Shinji cried, panicked "Is the pilot dead?!"

Asuka remained silent.

Gendo got up. "Fuyutsuki, take it from here."

Kikan tested his arms "So... they are still there..." he mumbled

Shinji was silent for a long time before saying "Why, Asuka?"

Asuka punched the controls. "If I didn't... then third impact would of happened! We all would have been dead!"

Magami still sat in her cockpit crying.

Kikan was angry "How do we even know it was an angel? They could've just told the guy we were angels... This is all bull after all." he thought to himself but merely said "Leave it, Shinji..."

*The Next day.*

(Uh... we're at school now.)

Asuka walked towards the school building, but before she reached it, she came upon Kikan. She looked away. "Where's that Shinji boy?"

Kikan shrugged "Don't know... I haven't seen him since yesterday, maybe he's already at school..."

Shinji stared up at the ceiling in his room "Am I a murderer?" he said to himself, he switched his MP3 on.

Asuka ran ahead of Kikan. She was too terrified to face him.

Misato knocked of Shinji's door. "Shinji. You have to go to school."

Kikan looked up, he thought of calling after her but didn't bother "I wonder if that other girl comes to this school..." he thought about Megami

Shinji pretended not to here and turned his back to the door, feigning sleep

Just as Kikan said that, Megumi walked by him. She had her head down, and didn't even notice him.

Misato banged on the door. "Shinji! Come on! I'm not gonna' let you stay here alone!" She opened the door, walked in, and dragged Shinji out of the bed. "You're going to school!"

Kikan looked at Megami, he thought of calling to her for a moment "He-" he stopped himself halfway through his word, and walked toward the school "What a grim day..."

Shinji pulled away "Fine..." he said calmly and quietly and obdiently got dressed and left for school.

Megumi didn't look up. He didn't even try to stop me... She thought.

Misato watched Shinji leave. "Oh Shinji..."

Kikan sighed and took out a playing card, it had strange drawings all over it but the card was still unmistakeable, The Knave of Hearts "Gimme some luck, huh?" he said to the card quietly

Shinji walked quietly to school, trailing behind the other children and listening to his MP3 player

A boy walked nexted to him. "Are you Ikari Shinji-Kun?" He smiled at Shinji oddly.

Shinji turned to the boy suprised "Yes... I am." he said quietly, and took the ear-phones from his MP3 player out of his ears.

Kikan twirled the card in his fingers. "Ok?" he put it back in his pocket and sat down by the door of the school.

The boy smiled. "I am the pilot of Eva unit 06. Ishi." He bowed at Shinji.

Asuka looked at Kikan from her corner of the room. She was scared to talk to him.

Shinji was shocked "You! Were you the one who?" he didn't know how to say it, become an angel? go beserk? he didn't know, but it cheered him up a great deal.

Kikan sighed and glanced at Asuka for a moment. Aki walked up to him "Hey, Kikan."
Kikan looked up, annoyed "What?!"

Aki looked sad for a moment "There's no talking to you is there?"

Kikan growled "Not to someone like you..."

Aki sighed "We're family, Kikan..."

Kikan laughed hollowly "Family? I don't have a family. I just don't like you, so go away."

Ishii smiled. "Shinji... I have a secret to tell you... but I will only tell you this information, I am trusting you... as a friend. Will you not tell anyone?" He put a hand on Shinji's shoulder.


Asuka watched Kikan. All of asudden, a wall of students entered the room. One boy reached out. "My name is Kensuke! Are you one of the Eva pilots!?"

Shinji nodded "Yes, I swear I won't tell anyone." he said honestly

Kikan nodded slightly,but kept his attention on his sister "Just leave me alone."

"Fine..." she strode away, tears in her eyes.

[Tidusauron12]

"Shinji. I am an angel. I want to be a human. I want to be like you! I want it all! Let me live with you... love your race... you beautiful human race... let me be a human!" He hugged Shinji.

The Suzahara looked at Kikan. "So, you're an eva pilot? What makes you so much better than us?"

Shinji was shocked "You're... You're an angel?" he was in disbelief, he didn't know how to react from the hug.

Kikan looked at the guy "Nothing. But I could break your legs if you want me to prove something..." talking to his sister always put him in a bad mood.

[Tidusauron12]

Ishi smiled. "Shinji... what will you do with the information I just gave you? Will you betray me? Will you accept me and love me as your own?"

Suzahara raised a fist. "Bring it on, newcomer!"

The teacher entered the room. "Alright, that enough! Everyone be seated now!"

Megami sat in her seat, sobbing silently to herself.

Kikan sat down in his seat "Tch... Ego-brain." he growled. He looked over at Megami, she looked really upset. He waved to her.

Shinji was silent for a while "I... I don't know..." his thoughts raced, Ishi seemed nice enough to him. But he didn't know about how he would act to the others. He thought about it "I...will accept you." he mumbled quietly

The teacher began his boring lesson about 2nd impact. "Megami didn't even notice Kikan, she cried.

Ishi smiled. "Good. You are my first human friend. I don't know how I can ever thank you... for accepting me." He looked at the school building. "We should get to school."

Kikan stared at the teacher, his eyes glassy. He put his feet up on the table and started to fall asleep.

Shinji nodded, and walked to the school. He felt oddly happy, yet scared at the same time.

When Kikan woke up, the room seemed to be emptying. A girl was in his face. "I know you're a new student, but you have to stay while in class!" She jerked him up. "Now go to gym!"

Ishi and Shinji walked towards the gym room. "Is this... how humans live?"

Kikan walked off "Wow, I must've fallen asleep through the whole class... WITHOUT GETTING CAUGHT!" he felt very pleased with himself at that.

Shinji nodded "Yes... Gym is dull for me, but you might enjoy it."

While Kikan was walking, he saw a girl with blue hair. She didn't appear to see him, she just kept walking.

Megami walked to gym alone...

Ishi smiled. "Why wouldn't you enjoy gym? Improving you body structure through physical activity... is that not what human call ideal?"

Some girls from behind started giggling at Shinji and Ishi.

Kikan stared at the girl with the blue hair "Woah..." he said quietly, she was really pale, Kikan thought she must be sick. He shrugged and walked to gym class. He took the card out of his pocket "For the love of god... GIVE ME SOME LUCK!" he threw his card in front of him.

Shinji blushed at the girls giggling but merely replied "Everyone has different tastes for the world."

Shinji saw Kikan and a girl with blue hair some distance away, he turned to Ishi "Are you going to tell any of the others about who you are?"

Kikan was slightly scared of her now "OK..." he started walking slowly past her.

Ishi looked. "No. I do not think I can trust them. If my cover is blown, horrible things will happen."

Rei watched Kikan walk past her. She finally kept walking after he passed her. Now she was walking behind him. He could feel her eyes on him.

Kikan walked more quickly away from the girl "What a creepy girl, looks like my cards unlucky..." he thought to himself. He didn't notice shinji or Ishi and sat down, he kept his eyes on the girl, in case she tried to suck his blood or something.

"Horrible things?" he didn't like the sound of that "But won't people realize that you survived? It was impossible for you to survive..." how did he survive? he thought to himself.

Ishi frowned. "Shinji. I can't trust them. I will not return to NERV. I will not allow myself to be found out."

A girl approached Kikan. "Are you... the eva pilot?"

Kikan nodded "Yeah... That's right. Who are you?"

Shinji nodded "I see..." he trusted Ishi, but he was afraid of what would happen if he accidently let slip what he had told him.

The girl smiled. "I'm Mei! I'm just a normal girl... but... I think that you're really cool and all..."

Megami watched from afar, tears in her eyes.

Ishi looked at Shinji, deeply. "Hey. Shinji... do I feel... natural to you?"

Kikan nodded slightly "Err... Thanks, Mei. But really, it's nothing to be proud of..." he didn't like all these people knowing who he was, not by his name but by a title.

The teacher for the boys smiled. "It's time to run the mile." He looked at the track. "Let's see how our Eva pilots do." He smiled at Kikan and the others.

Ishi looked at Shinji. "Shinji... lets do our best... the girls are watching..." Ishi and Shinji looked up at where the girls were... at the pool.

Kikan sighed "Right..." he stood ove at the track and up at the girls "God, no pressure..." he mumbled to himself. He looked up to see if he could see Megami at all.

Shinji nodded "Yeah..." he got ready to start running.

Megami looked at Kikan sadly. "Do good... Kikan..." She talked to herself.

Rei stared at Kikan as he got ready to run.

Asuka looked at Kikan also. All the girl pilots were staring at Kikan.

"Oh, for the love of.." he blushed furiously

Shinji got ready "When should we start running?" he asked Ishi

The coach laughed. "You run now!!!"

Ishi pulled Shinji. "Come on!"

Kikan started running as fast as he could (which was pretty fast) keeping an eye on the other pilots.

Shinji was pulled by Ishi, he stumbled at first at then started running, he was almost neck and neck with Kikan

Ishi broke out into a full sprint and left behind Kikan and Shinji, along with the rest of the class. The girls cheered all the guys on.

Kikan growled and started running even faster, although he was still behind the kid.

Shinji was lagging behind Kikan, getting tired.

As Shinji ran, he started to think about the trust Ishi had in him. The running capablility that Ishi wanted from him. He didn't want to dissapoint Ishi.

Ishi looked back at Kikan. He just kept running.

Kikan ran faster, he was almost behind Ishi when he tripped, he fell down to the gound but put out his hands and pushed himself off the ground back into a run, determined to catch back up to Ishi.

Shinji was now almost perfectly neck and neck with Kikan, he had a burst of sped and went past him, but he couldn't keep it up for very long.

Ishi ran even faster. It didn't seem he was bery tired at all. He was smiling the entire time. Kikan started to grow suspicous of how he could run so fast.

When they passed by the pool again. Kikan saw Asuka and Rei staring at him blankly.

Kikan stared at the 2 girls, then at Ishi "Man, i'm sorrounded by freaks!" he muttered

Shinji was slowing down slightly back to where Kikan was running

In the end. Ishi won by a long shot. Kikan beat Shinji by a little.

The coach frowned. "Oh dear god... this can't be...!" He looked at Ishi, who wasn't even tired. "Your time is 3:02. A new world record!"

Kikan sat down "That was fun..." he thought to himself "But that kid... It's likehe's not human..."

Shinji sighed and walked toward Ishi.

Suzahara walked over to Kikan. "Not bad... newcomer... but you need some work..." Kikan just realized that he'd beat Suzahara by nearly half a minute.

Megami yelled out. "Good job, Kikan!"

The coach looked at his watch. "Alright... school is over... report to homeroom for chore duty if you have it.."

Kikan punched the air "School's over! Only chore duty left and then I can go home!" he laughed slightly

Asuka walked into the room. She frowned when she saw Kikan. "Oh great, why do you have to be here!?"

"Because I have to. If I had a choice and go home, but I gotta do it so." he shrugged "If you have a promblem with me, you can shut and leave me alone." Kikan turned away from her

She slapped Kikan across the face. "I hate you! You're such a.. such a jerk!" She ran out into the hallway, then almost slammed into to Shinji, who was with Ishi.

Kikan laughed hollowly "I'm starting to think I have bad luck with women."

Shinji walked into the room "Did you upset Asuka, Kikan?"

Kikan sighed "Somehow..."

Ishi smiled at Kikan. "Do you find her attractive, Kikan?"

All of asudden an alarm went off. "ALL CITIZENS EVACUATE TO YOUR RESERVED AREAS! UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT APPROACHING QUICKLY."

Ishi looked at Shinji. "Do it Shinji..." He ran out of the class room.

Shinji ran out of class as well, pondering the words Ishi had told him.

Misato waited outside in her car. Asuka was already inside. "Hurry! We have to get to NERV right away!" Asuka looked at Shinji emptily.

"Hey, where's Megami?" he asked Misato

Shinji averted his eyes away from Asuka.

Misato frowned. "I saw her, but she ran away from me when I called her..." The car took off. "The angel is approaching the coast extemely fast."

Kikan yelled "Umm... HELLO! Your in a damn car! Are you saying you can't drive faster than a person!" he was quite worried

"I can't waste time chasing one pilot! If the angel gets here before we get to NERV, it's all over."

kikan growled but said nothing.

Shinji looked up at Misato "What does this angel... do exactly?"
