Used to play violin and viola, quit because I disliked the teacher and had no motivation anymore. Now, I'm leading towards a guitar.

stage once. i was the only one who didn't throw up. seriously the rest of the band stunk of vomit when we went on.haha. i played bass that time. we were gonna record an album too but plans fell apart. i've had many other mini things for guitar class. acoustic coffee shop shows*we fail if we miss them* and a full plugged in preformance*which went really badly* a couple years ago for the class

Im getting tired of posting my Guitars. Find one of my older threads. I've been playing for Eight Years. I have a Gibson SG Special, Rickenbacker 4001, and a Gibson FLying V(YES I KNOW THEY ARE THE GUITARS FROM FLCL) I use an Orange AMP and I also have a Marshall. I have about 5 BOSS Pedals and used the Blues Driver the most.

I've been playing the flute for about 8 years, still in marching & concert band at school. Also guitar for one year. Though I only took guitar class last year for filler, since I didnt want to take physics when I didnt need to. I really want to learn bass.

Electric...violin? Such a thing exists? I could have gone my whole life without ever knowing.

Nope, there are electric violins. ;)

I've been playing the drums since February this year in my band Tonsil Hockey. We've had one performance in my school so my drumming stage experience is limited to that.

Explain to me how such a thing is possible. I can't even imagine what it would look like, let alone sound like. Time to ask my good friend Google (Google.com).

I've been playing the piano for about....12-13 years now? Hmmm...yeah that seems about right. Didn't take actual lessons at first (my aunt is a concert pianist, so she just taught me the basics before I found someone to actually instruct me thoroughly), but then got pretty decent and began playing for my high school band class (and any and all concerts they had).

I used to play clarinet, but I sucked badly so I quit and just focused on the piano. *shrugs* As for other musical endeavors, I participated in choir (concert and otherwise) for many, many years. I like to sing, it suits me I suppose. I got pretty good at it (have a large vocal range under my belt and whatnot)....ehh...

I've been on stage abut 10 times....only one bad experience.

Guitars:
I have a Fender strat, Epiphone Explorer(just like the pillows ;) ), a Gibson Flying V, a Fender tele, and an acoustic.

Bass:
I have a Steinberger "no head" bass, and my dad has a few as well.

I've been on stage since 6th grade to 9th grade. Of course in orchestra, we had lots of concerts. Also played on stage in elementary. I was in the first row in every concert, first chair in middle school, and I never got nervous.

As just about everybody on the off-topic forum knows, I play a mean shred guitar :ssj:

My playing is a rather unorthodox mix of blues- and classical-based metal, and I can also make sound effects on my guitar a la Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave). My strongest influences are Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Kirk Hammett (Metallica)

I just started playin' teh guitar like around last christmas. I've improved alot....still a long way to go. I have a really shity piece though. A cheap squire strat, really wish now that I could've gotten something more expensive, vox amp, and a mt-2 metal zone boss pedal.
