Heres a few of my own drawings. They have been hand drawn and then scanned into Photoshop for added effects. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. ^.^

btw, Jiyuu how did you color that drawing of yours?

It looks a little like that Yuri guy from the Shadow Hearts PS2 games.

Hm? I've never played with shadow hearts :D But i'm planning to buy the second ep /gg
Btw i'm using leadpencil most of the times, like i did with the first pic. And that was a "vampire guy" request by one of my friends^^
On the second i used ink but it really was a pain in the *** so i won't use it again -.-

It's a bit strange, but quite original. I've surely never seen anything like it.
On a side note, Jiyuu, don't advertise requests in other people's art threads.

As i mentioned somewhere, i didnt do it on purpose. I just havent notice that My art or Few of my pics means that only one person can upload her/his work. I thought its a thread to everyone to show their talent. Howoever, i was corrected, and if u have eyes u noticed i already opened my new thread...

Quite an interesting look, they kinda remind me of old comics I used to occassionally read. Not the loopy, odd parts, but the way the faces are formed:)

So what are your inspirations, anywho? Would be interesting to know ^_^

NEVER, EVER, Post your own work in someone else's thread, because it is completely disrespectful, and low.

If you have your own work. Make your own thread.

You have a very unique style Dij. I like it.

Lets let it end there, guys. Lets not "back-and-foward" on someones art post! ^_^

Sorry, Dij!

Don't worry about it, it was a mistake. You could delete the post with your image in it though Jiyuu. Anyway...

I read quite a lot of western comic books as well as manga. My main inspirations would be Greg Capullo, Angel Medina (SPAWN) and Jamie Hewlett (Tank Girl, Gorillaz). Eastern influences include Akira Toriyama and Katsuya Terada.

Ahhhhh, it was interesting to look those up:) I can easily see where you get some of your exaggeration from, looking at Angel Medina's website (That man is quite versitile!). And I never knew the Gorillaz character artist, so it was cool to finally see a name attached to the artworks.

Nice inspirations ^_^ I'm gonna do something out-of-character, and not even talk about the asian artist... lol. -speed away-

Angel's website rocks! His pencils are wicked, if a little wild and hard to understand sometimes. he got into quite a bit of trouble whilst drawing Spawn because people thought his double page spreads were too diffcult to understand just by looking at them.

Jamie Hewlett is cool too. You should read some Tank girl (Better than the Gorillaz artwork)!!
