I just got this song from the 'Final Fantasy Song Book mahoroba' but I can't find the lyrics to it. One site has these lyrics, but it doesn't match the song.

I believe the lyrics you keep finding are just a Japanese translation of the english version by Faye Wong (though she did not actually perform or release it in Japanese as far as I know). The version in Japanese found on the Mahoroba album performed by Manami Kiyota does not use those same lyrics it seems. I think it's words have a different meaning altogether, but I couldn't find any place that has the lyrics listed or translated.

Yup, after looking through the dictionary, I too think the the lyrics I keep finding is the translation of the English song. I tried to sing with the instrumental version of the song it but the words doesn't even fit the rythm.

The translation ??????? is looking for is not Faye Wong's version, but the version found on the Mahoroba album, which is not only by a different singer, but has different lyrics altogether :P
