Here's the trailer for the just announced PSP RPG Jeanna D'Arc. It's from the same developer of DragonQuest VIII and it's looking really, really, good, especially the cutscenes.

This, Valhalla Knights and Brave Story are all looking awesome, RPG-wise for the PSP.

I dunno, I think of a handheld as a pick up and play simple games type of thing, RPGs on handhelds is kind of dumb I think. They should just leave them on consoles.

And I think any good RPG is good no matter what system it's on, I don't know why it should even make a difference. Plus, the great thing about handheld RPG's is alot of them still have sprite art, if you like that sort of thing.

Anyway, if Brave Story is what I'm thinking it is, That should be an awesome game and I can't wait to play it.

Yes I like sprite art, but I'd much rather play it on a big tv instead of a tiny screen with bad controls.

As for the game, it doesnt look to live up to what I expect from Level 5.

Sprite art FTW.

BUT, RPG's on a PSP are a nono. The battery life is just not long enough for many hours of play. 6 hours tops. Depending how long you travel as well. I commute by train 20 minutes to and from. So I clock in about 1 hour. Which isn't too bad, but I like to sit down and enjoy my RPGs in the comfort of my own home.
