About the prescription, the faq on that site says you need a prescription for colour contacts by law. Why not go and do the simple thing get a prescription? Exames aren't that expensive and you should have one regularly anyway. Then you can get what ever contacts you want, though I don't know why you'd want these. You can't hardly see when you wear them.

You do? I wonder how those vendors of theatrical contact lenses get by? They sell all sorts of designs to make your eyes look strange, for use on the stage, and screen.

You should see the thread on AnimeSuki where about 3000 teens are planning to save their allowance for Sharingan contact lenses.

At cosplaylab.com, they sell plano contact lenses. They do not have a prescription. I have a pair of blue plano contact lenses that do make my medium brown eyes look like they are naturally blue.

In England, there are some shops around where you can get'em with our measuring your eyes for like 6 pounds. My cousin got green ones, they are pretty nice.

Depending on the shape of your eye they can be cheap. And you can get measurement for less than 40, shop around- you might get it for free for all you know.

If you have glasses, it would be better to get the contacts with your perscription. I've heard that people who wear those without perscriptions have eye problems after use.

This one seems to require a perscription sent in along with the doctor's contact information to validate. And from the FAQ: 'Anyone who would sell you theatrical contact lenses, disregarding the new law, only cares about making money, not the health of your eyes, besides, it's not legal. -Please consider that when making your purchase.' I'm sure any company worth their salt gets their actors all sized up with the proper paperwork. It could be harmful to the actor if the lenses don't fit properly, so it's in everyone's best interest to have their ducks in a row.
