So, me being a fan of Smith's work, will, of course, be going to see this opening night (tomorrow) as long as I can get off work early enough. I can't wait and I hope it lives up to some of his other works.

Any one else planning to see this? Or any opinion of the movie?

I heard one of the critics walked out because he was offended or something.

I'm going to see it, plus let me post the topic from Rotten Toamtoes showing Kevin Smith's reaction, it's amazing.

Damn, something's wrong with the forums at the moment, but I'll post it once their back up.

It was Joel Seigel who walked out and Kevin Smith rips him apart, especially since he made it a point to be noisy and obnoxious when he walked out.

I wouldn't be surprised. I've heard that there's a bit about a donkey...
Sounds like Smith in his element.

I hope he gets his stuff together with this one. He has fallen off the donkey on his last several pictures.

Can't wait to see it tomorrow. I thought the first one was HILARIOUS! The witty humor combined with the crude humor was very well done. Hopefully the second will be just as awesome as the first one was.

I'm most likely going to see it tonight with some friends. Frankly, this and Snakes on a Plane are the only films I'm looking forward to this year.

I liked the cartoon series much better than the old Clerks film, but if I can I'll try to see this one.

I saw it today and it was offensive, crude, depraved, and downright rotten....THE PRIME ELEMENTS OF AWESOME!!!:P

This movie was hilarious on so many levels, even with the whole donkey bit. I was repulsed, yet I couldn't look away.

One of the things I found funny was how there was a sort of "coming of age" element in the film.

I highly recommend this film. You won't be disappointed.

Crap, we didn't finish closing until 9:20 and the last show started at 9:30 and it takes 15 minutes to get to the theater, not to mention lineups, and what not. But tomorrow, I'm off at 3, so no chance of missing it.

Definately make some time for it when you can; it's a great film. I dare say it's better than the original and easily one of Smith's best films. O'Hallarran (sp?) and Anderson do a fantastic job as Dante and Randal - it doesn't even feel like it's been ten years since the first one.

So many jokes, so few I can repeat in public but it's enough to make me actually contemplate seeing it for a second time just to try and memorize more of the film. I have absolutely nothing but praise for this picture.
