Who would be the best partner for Negi

Negi Springfield had made four probationary contract up volume 10. Who do you think that best permanent partner for Negi?

My money is on Nodoka, 1. they both care about eachother alot 2. With Nodoka power's Negi would be almost unstoppable.

Knowing Akamatsu, Asuna will be the one that be a permanant partner for Negi. However, I do agree that Nodoka would be a much better fit. They have a better chemistry between them...

And Setsuna would be undoubtably Konoka's partner, those two are too cute...

despite who it may or may not inevitably be, i think that asuna would be the best partner for negi because they compliment each other, and they both care about eachother probably more than they do the other characters, it's that they have a bond that's a lot deeper than anything that nodoka or anyone else has with negi

There's a lot more than just who Negi ends up with. Not to mention, even when you know who someone will end up with, its all about how they get there. And Negi and Asuna haven't even come close to starting an actual relationship at this point.

Plus, there is an actual plot beyond who Negi ultimately bangs.

For a permanent single partner I think Asuna is the best choice, but Nodoka is good too.

But the permanent partner thing is really not a problem since he is allowed (and will) have many partners. He isn't limited to only one.

and about all this, i think asuna does fit well with negi. negi overthinks things, and asuna is much better as a physical fighter. plus, the magic cancel has it's benefits, and i think it will be developed later in the future. if you add in the fact that negi is learning chinese martial arts from ku fei, and magic from eva, plus setsuna is teaching asuna how to fight effectively, it all adds up to a good team.

a nodoka + negi fighting team would be.. different.

and i'm curious, how many people have read scanlations of the manga?

I'm reading scanlations AND buying them as they come out here. They're up to like volume 15 or 16 in Japan I think as far as absolute latest chapters go. Still feels really "early" in the story too.
