fallout 3: ever being made?

please tell me I'm not the only one left here that still is holding on to some shread of hope that they're making a fallout 3.

I remember when interplay was bought out/went out of business/whatever that there was a lot of talk about the plans for FO3 never coming to fruitation. then, about 2 years ago, I was reading the "rumor mill" and I heard that FO3 had been taken over by bethesada(same peeps that made games like Oblivion, morrowind, etc).
needless to say, I was appalled and excited at the same time. I was happy that FO3 was at least being talked about, and handled by such a good company, but at the same time I had a feeling that it was going to be morrowind with mutants.
that was the last thing I heard about it, and there hasn't been much talk since. so what I'm wanting to know is...is it ever going to be made? will any of us get at least one more trip through the wasteland?

I think it's still canceled but theres screens in there. One of these days I'll have to see what the fuss is about.

admittenly, that pisses me off to no end, but kay sa ra sa ra....*shrugs* to me, it sounds like a lot of it was just over the dev team *****ing amoungst themselves, or that FO3 was made up entirely....
gah.

Bethesda Softworks has the rights to FO3 and is supposedly working on it.

They haven't released much in terms of info and news so it's questionable whether they're ever gonna finish it or if they're even working on the game at all.
