Anybody ever pre-order something from ebgames?

Hello. I hope this is ok here since animenation forums are my favorite ones. Anyways, so yea ive never pre-ordered something until recently when ebgames/gamestop announced that if you pre-order ffXII u get it packaged in a steel case along with a dvd. So of course i had to go pre-order. I put ten dollars down and got a recipt. But now my problem is i lost my recipt!! Am i screwed out of ten bucks? Also, if im not screwed do i just go the day it comes out? The guy at ebgames was a total a hole and didnt explain nothing and was very rude.

just got to show them your ID and you will be ok. They should call you when it comes in as well. But if they dont call the day it is supposed to come out call up and see if it came in yet, hope this helps! :D

I fully paid the pre-order and threw the receipt in the trash on the way to my car. All you need is your drivers license.

when i preordered my ds i preordered it from there and i stapled the receit to my skin basically, i waited and got to the mall like 30 mins before the store opened and i was the first in line, i was so friggin happy, but yea they told me i didnt need to cling to the receipt as visciously as i did, i was relieved then i went and marveled at my DS!

When I pre-ordered Gran Turismo 4 I threw away the receipt and all they do is ask for ID or Drivers License.

I preorder crap all the time, just gives me more time to pay things off.

I don't think they've ever asked for my ID or reciept when I went to pick up a game that I reserved.

I never pre order....I did put down 5 bucks on Quake Wars but its been delayed...
