I went to my local DVD store today looking for some new hentai titles and i was shocked to find felix the cat and sailor and the 7 Ballz on the same shelf.
when i went to see my mates and mentioned my annoyance i was got the stupid query of "arent all sex cartoons the same".

IM about to pss alot of people off by saying star ballz and sailor and the seven ballz are not hentai, like a stupid prat i bought both titles when they were released 3 or 4 yrs ago believing they were of some quality since they were being sold as hentai by one of the best hentai stores on the net.
I have never seen such crap in my life they didnt even turn me on.

Ive learned my lesson and i will only buy hentai if it comes from Japan .

I know,i hate it how any cartoon material is considered Hentai.Its called "Erotic Art" only things from Japan can be called 'Hentai'.Dont people know the difference,or is it just ignorant people?

Well hentai when referring to pornographic anime is something that mostly English speakers use. In Japan pornographic anime is just that, it's not labelled as "hentai"

Hentai is purely anime with a pornographic element. However, although a lot of anime series may appear to be quite sexual in nature, in Hentai you will see the full monty (sexual organs).

Tentacles are an added bonus. ^.^

It's the same thing that makes Anime different from American cartoons. The fact that it is from Japan. That is basically it.

I perfer the term Ero-Anime. Since the meaning of "Hentai" is pervert, There are many titles that are called "Hentai" that are not peverted at all, they just have sex scenes . . . .
