State your favorite pairings and why.

I'm a Naruto/Hinata fan but I'd understand if it doesn't turn out that way. Hinata isn't a big character as much as Sakura...who'd probably end up with Naruto with the looks of how things are going. But I think this would work pretty well, they're very similar inside although outside they seem very different.

I'm not much of a Sakura fan because I didn't like her for most of the series...so a Naruto/Sakura pairing would be like a bitter pill to swallow for me.

Shikamaru x Temari is by far my favorite pairing. It looks like the most likely to happen.

I still think Naruto x Hinata is going to happen. All it needs is for Hinata to admit her feelings. Kishimoto would be a cruel man if he never let her do it. Naruto ending up with Sakura would be too cliched.

Lee x Tenten. I see Lee more with a girl than Neji who gives off that Sasuke vibe to me.

It's a shonen manga, and they usually stay light on couples since romance scares young boys. Although something like Eureka Seven shows it can be done.

Naruto creator Kishimoto has said that he wanted to do romance in Part I, but it didn't work out and he is going to do it in Part II. So far we haven't seen any.

Yea, I always stumble upon pairing threads like this I wonder "Will any of this happen in the first place?" Thinking about it now I wish it would have a little romance in it. That would increase the enjoyable envelope.

I think Yamato was trying to say she is developing "feelings" for him. Love might be too strong a word. But after 70 plus chapters of Part II, that's not really much. In chapter 247 we had the "date" between Shikamaru and Temari. We had Naruto pretending to be on "dates" with Sakura. Asuma acting strange around Kurenai. But other than that, nothing.
