first of all, you cant just lump all japanese women together as all having the same mind, every single person is different regardless of their heritage, so you can't just ask if they like foreign men (and if you're talking about getting a japanese girlfriend who also lives in florida, then chances are she doesnt consider non japanese as foreigners since that would probably make her american)

think of it this way, japanese girls aren't "japanese girls", they're just plain "girls"


my advice is to not look for a girlfriend based on heritage (because for one, that's really shallow), but rather by finding someone who you enjoy being with regardless of her being white, black, asian, or anything

Money is one of them and from personal experience belive it or not this statement goes more for asian woman then any other race. Opinions aside, it may be worth it to remember that you have to take care with a second (or third, or forth, and so on) language. "Split eyes" isn't the best way to describe the shape of a Japanese person's eyes (especially considering they're not "split" at all)...it comes off sounding somewhat racist, even if you're not intending to be. I had to inform a Japanese friend of mine that we don't call people who are bald or who completely shave their head "skin heads" because for native English speakers that's something ENTIRELY different.

And as this is already wildly off topic....I can't believe this thread is still going (yet here I am, helping it along ;p).

I think the topic starter is EXTREMELY confused and lives a lonely life away from any women. He probably went storming through some forums on how to pick up chicks and he came across the big myth and rumored story that "Japanese girls love to go for white guys."

Sure, SOME Japanese girls may be curious about what it's like to be with a white guy instead of an asian guy(since they are both from totally different cultures and do look and act different). But, that does not mean ALL Japanese girls will run after you as soon as you exit out of the plane at the Tokyo Airport.

Advice for this guy. Go to Japan, see what Japanese girls are actually like. Don't just make your decisions from anime, watch some Jdorama's if you must instead. If you don't know the language or what kind of culture your entering, you'll just be kicked to the curb.

If you just want sex, which it seems like, go spend some money on a local hooker in Flordia, or you can go to Roppongi in Japan. There are clubs there and the what not, it is rumored that Roppongi is the party place for white guys who want Japanese girls, but watch out for AIDS, HIV, etc.

exactly, people have preferences. So to assume that all Japanese girls have the same prefrence by asking a question like "do japanese girls like foreigners?" could be seen as a bit rude. Japanese girls are individuals, I"m sure there are some that like him cause he is foreign and even more that wouldn't even notice.

The reason why someone askes a question is so that assumtions can't continue. If he simply assumed that they all like foreign men. He would have said "I know that they like foreigners" not asked if they did. He was simply tring to see if a streotype was correct by asking. I would much rather have someone aske an offenencive question rather than to go on thinking that a streotype is true. At least know he knows.

So, anyway. Over the years, I've realized that every girl wants to be liked for both her outer beauty and inner beauty. Maybe except porn stars, but that's beside the point.

What I'm trying to say is that race (culture) has nothing to do with anything. It's merely superficial. Lust and infatuation die out hella fast. Hence, relationships based solely on outward appearances alone almost never last. With everything, there are exceptions, 'course. For some reason, most asian girls(not all) are down with
'hiphop ghetto fab" stuff and baggy clothes... I only know like one punk rocker though. I don't thik it is a city thing, I think it is an American thing... so now I need clarification -_-; Since they are a minority, the few that I see are the only ones I see.
