Notice how she's not much different from every other type of girl, except maybe a bit shorter and squintier? Are you kicking yourself now? Do it.

Squintier....that's really the word you're going to go with? Wow.

Offended, no, but I do think it was a poor word choice.

It's not even a word though...

In my dictionary it is.

Squinter (n) - Someone who tries to be more asian by squinting. Depending on the amount of asian they really are they may add on things like dying their hair, putting on a ton of eye-makeup, or taking pictures of themselves and cranking up the brightness to the Max, the DDR max.

And Asians don't even squint. Look, I'm not trying to start something, really I'm not, but in a thread where people have been striving to point out that Japanese girls don't fall into some preconceived stereotype...the assertion that Asians "squint" just seemed....well...as I said, a poor word choice.

Well you're wrong and I'm right.

It was a joke, no need to get uppity about it. I have nothing against asians, at all.

You ignore the fact that I was one of the people striving to point out that Japanese girls don't fall into some preconceived stereotype. Infact, I was doing so in the very post you quoted and tried to make me seem racist!

Sure is tough getting shot at by my own people...

More like you showed a painfully extreme lack of tact more than anything else. Go ahead and use it if you want, it just makes you sound ignorant :P

Which is shocking considering how sensitive I usually am.

Nah, I only used it once for a simple little joke that y'all have blown out of proportion. And as for sounding ignorant...mama no, say it ain't so. :(

Can we go back to talking about people who only want to score with Japanese chicks again? That was a lot more entertaining.

Didn't blow it out of proportion, just agreed with Ageha's sentiment is all. :P

:) Not uppity. I wasn't trying to cast you in the light of a racist and I'm sorry if you or anyone else thought so; if I thought you were one I'd have absolutely no qualms about calling you out. I applaud the fact that you're defending Japanese girls, but using such a word (which is often used by people who aren't culturally sensitive [which I am not suggesting you are]) in a post defending them detracts from your credibility (in this case, imo). Anyway, this'll be it for me on this issue because...yeah, it'd be beating a dead horse.

I do NOT giggle..

I do NOT wear school girl clothes..

and I never, EVER pull the bottom of one eye and stick out my tongue.

But do you wear cat ears? That's what's really important! :P

Seriously, a word in pheonix_ikki's defense. Everyone has preferences; that's part of what makes the world interesting. If he wants a Japanese GF, he ought to go for it. He might get what he wants; he might end up changing his mind. I really, really, have this thing for blondes, but I've always hooked up with brunettes. Go figure.

Okay..you caught me..

I confess.

I wear cat ears.

I have this thing for nerdy geeks.

I got one.

Now I'm chunking him to the curb.

Moral of the story: Be careful what you wish for..you just might GET it.

Sorry for contributing to the Black Plague here, but I'd like to say a few words on this subject.

If you really are dead-set on getting a Japanese girlfriend, then learn the language and find some way to make a living in Japan or be there for a while. Mingle, go to clubs, socialize, get to know them, maybe you'll find somebody you like for a while and things will get intimate.

But, if you think that's too much trouble just to get a girlfriend that speaks another language and has a certain appearance...stick to the states and find somebody you dig there. It's a boiling pot for all sorts of people.

Besides, people aren't defined on their culture or appearance. Look at my quote on like-mindedness.

You can readily get them like the taxi. YellowCab=肉便器

What??? 肉便器 translates to yellow cab??? How does that work?
meat + easy + device = taxi?
