Biggest Jerk in Yaoi/Yuri

What characters in these anime do you see constantly or sometimes that just make you want to whack them good because of their actions or coldness to other characters, be it for not wanting to be with someone of the same gender, or be it for forcing themselves on others.

One that stands out to me is Kaname Kenjou in Strawberry Panic. I am loading the second episode that I see with her in it, and I know this because I was skimming through the youtube bar... She at first wrote a fake letter to Hikari from the show SAYING she was the girl that Hikari always admired and to meet up somewhere, and tried raping Hikari.

Also, her partner in crime, Momomi is a ***** herself >_>

Since I see her back again, I just had to do this topic. I really want to hit her hard for the crap her and Momomi pull on that poor girl...

Anyone else have anyone that annoys you in this fashion?

Yuki from Gravitation. I really don't like how he is always so cold and distant to Shuichi. He is always cranky and doesn't appreciate the nice things Shu does for him.

*gasp* Me?! Ignorant? Pfft. Hotness is clever. If Matt had a boyfriend I would feel sorry for him because he would have to put up with lots of verbal abuse. Constantly being called cold, abusive, or ignorant would suck. :P

For other abusive people, you should read Target in the Finder. Seems like most of the seme guys enjoy raping their ukes. It's quite sad, but also quite entertaining.

Ok, I just thought of someone. From Loveless, Ritsuka's brother, assuming
he is alive, as I heard he is in the manga.

Soubi from Loveless. Sometimes I just wanted to smack him upside the head (and sometimes I envisioned wrapping a thick rope around his neck...). Here we have a college-aged adult, who has a boyfriend of his own, messing around with a poor 12-year-old boy's head. I guess I wouldn't see that as so twisted if it weren't for the fact that said 12-year-old has lost his memory, is a victim of child abuse, and his brother's burnt corpse was found in his elementary school chair. The last thing poor Ritsuka needs is his older brother's old partner messing around with his head.

Of course, all of the above is merely my opinion.

Yuki irks me a little bit sometimes. As for Soubi he annoys me some too, not for messing with Ritsuka's mind, but for lying to Ritsuka.

I'd have to name Kashiwagi Suguru from Maria-sama Ga Miteru. He's a jerk of all trades. Not only does her tapdance all over Sachiko's heart and pushing the arranged marriage, he's also always trying to bed Yumi's brother Yuuki.

He's totally incapable of realizing how his actions hurt others. (it's in the novels and manga) Then he acts hurt and surprized when they call him on it.

He even suggested that since Sachiko loved Yumi that she sleep with Yuuki (Yumi's brother) so that Sachiko could still have Yumi's child in a twisted way. O_o

Do the jerks mentioned have to be involved in a same-sex relationship, or do they only have to be from a yaoi or yuri anime or manga? Because the first one I nominate is Bikky from FAKE. I only read one volume of FAKE because I didn't want to see him again. Obnoxious, homophobic punk who is portrayed as if he is supposed to be endearing or something. And I found little to nothing endearing about him.

The next one isn't a yaoi anime, but Muraki from Descendants of Darkness was a pretty big jerk. Now don't get me wrong. I LOVE Muraki! He's a positively wonderful villain (not to mention gorgeous), but he sure is one hell of a bastard! Raping Hisoka and killing him, tormenting Tsuzuki, and just screwing around with everyone's minds and feelings. And he has fun doing it too! He gives evil a new name!

Now no list of the biggest jerks in yaoi and yuri could be complete without mentioning Dai Lee from the Korean manga series Let Dai. His bahavior is downright psycopathic! He is extremely jealous of anyone his lover Jaehae is close to. He beats the crap out of Jaehae's closest friend and just stands back and lets Jaehae's ex-girlfriend get raped by his thugs. Not to mention how abusive he is to Jaehae. It is truly a twisted love story! But it sure is fun to read about!

Yeah but Shuichi is quite annoying.

It's a great internal fight with Yuki. He's trying to hold himself at the level of physical attraction, trying not to fall in love, because he felt that would be a disaster his heart could not cope with.

He's not just being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk (which is how many men behave - mostly machismo), he's being a jerk for emotional self-preservation.

At least, that's how I see it.

I grew to love him (a bit) towards the end of the anime though. But in the beginning I wanted to hit the bastard over the head with a brick. ^_^

I agree with you!! Yuki is hott hott hott!! and even though Shuichi doesnt act like it he does enjoy the cold heartless Yuki. Because when Yuki is nice he always complains about it.

When I really think about it, Soubi was a pretty big jerk. He does an awful lot of lying to Ritsuka and kind of seems to enjoy Ritsuka's inner termoil. He does alot of nice things for Ritsuka too, but he sure does alot of things to screw around with Ritsuka and betray him. Not to mention how cold he is towards poor Kio. How could you be so mean to him? He's so cute!
