Honestly, I'm getting bored...

It's a sad thing to say, but I am less and less excited for new manga chapters to come out. The cofrontation with Sasuke was what was keeping me going! With all that build up he left so abruptly before anything happened. With more talk of "that techique" and "that training" it is really starting to wear on my nerves. <_< And after the confusing lastest chapter >_< , I am not excited at all. Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?

I'm not even going to bring the fillers into it...they speak for themselves. :mad:

Well, I haven't watched fillers, so can't comment on those, but I will say it's been well over a year since we saw canon anime. I've practically forgotten all about the anime in that time.

I still like the manga...wouldnt' say I'm bored as such, but I am extremely frustrated at what I see as weakening story telling technqiues. I believe the actual story must be a good one, but Kishi either doesn't care enough to tell it properly, or he is being rail-roaded by his editor to tell it in this poor way.

Lately, I've been dissatisfied with what I now believe is the over-use of stalling tactics in order to 1. come up with ideads or 2. stretch the manga out for as long as possible (that must surely be the idea of those above Kishi and not Kishi himself).

I'm not bashing Kishi or the manga because I love both, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to deny the fact that the quality of it has gone down the past few months. Even the artwork has been hit and miss (I wonder if his assistants are drawing the majority of the manga now).

I dont read the manga, but i want these damn fillers to end. Its still going, ep 192 is another filler. I will kill them if they think they're going to put fillers up to 200.

I love the manga, and while it doesnt make me want to stop, i find most anything involving the Akatsuki boring. I got through the last couple fights, because of who they were fighting against. We got to see some new things from Sakura, and the old Sand lady, etc. Like this most recent chapter? These two new Akatsuki guys did nothing for me. When our own heroes show up to fight with them, I will have interest again.

I wouldn't say I'm getting bored with the manga in its entirety; there's enough going on at the unseen edges to keep me from succumbing to boredom. I'm not jumping over hedges in excitement over the introduction of Hidan and Kakuzu. The introduction of the nibi and its jinchuuriki Yugito distract my mind from focusing on how much I'm sick of dealings with the Akatsuki.

The manga has been stretching out for awhile now, and I'm wondering if Kishimoto is suffering from a minor case of writer's block. (Even manga-ka aren't immune to this common virus.) If that's the case, then hopefully the manga will pick up again soon. I can only be optimistic, for now.

Yes, you're off your adrenaline high of reading 2-3 years of Naruto in a matter of days. We all have done it. Naruto is a battle/training show. That's all it is. That's all it will ever be-unless Naruto finally starts putting the moves on Sakura or Hinata. Then it become Love Hina with Sakura belting Naruto all over the place....wait, she already does that. :) Anyway, if you don't have the patience to wait for the illegal scan dubs to come in-find another series. Come back to this one in a year or so, so you can tear through that in another day, because clearly you don't understand how the system works.

No, I understand how the system works, I am just impatient :P My problem isn't that it comes out once a week, it's the content. I just want some Sasuke issues solved since that is what this series seems to be revolving around. Now more training. I know I should have seen it coming, but that doesn't mean I can't still be disappointed ^_^

I'm not sure about this but I think ffl and I are the only one's who watch the filler, maybe. If you find the manga irritating with it's loose threads then go ahead and watch the fillers to give you a good chuckle every now and then. According to episode 192 Ino enjoys "Golden Showers" if you catch my drift. :P

no, I'm watching those fillers too. Its sad, really. They're doing a lot of weird things, like Hinata getting a new technique, Shino laughing, and that little incident mentioned above. In fact, it kinda looked like Ino got a peek at Naruto's *ahem* They're really straying.
