Help with Song title in Eureka 7

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew the title of the insert song in Eureka 7 they play during highly emtional scenes, like when the Gekkostate went into orbit, for I reminds of an Evangelion song for the first few notes remind me of the song they play during Misato's fan service promise at the end of an Evangelion episode.
Any help is welcome.

While I have all of the Eureka 7 OSTs, I haven't actually seen the show itself, so I don't know what plays where. Assuming by 'insert song' you mean a song other than an OP/ED that has vocals, you have:

-Storywriter (OST 1, disc 1, track 2) [Supercar: male vocals, rock sounding]
-Niji (OST 2, disc 1, track 22) [by Denki Groove: male vocals, techno sounding]
-Realize (Complete Best album, track 9) [by FLOW, same group that did first OP song] (I believe this is the theme song to the Eureka 7 PS2 game, so I dont know if it's used in the anime).

added: I was browsing the web and found a list of 'insert songs', but I believe aside from the 2 I already mentioned, the rest are all instrumental.

If I knew exactly which NGE ep you were referring too, I'd check that out and compare the songs you think sound similar. (edit: silly me, that's at the end of every episode -_-; ). In that case, I didn't think any of the Eureka 7 songs sounded like the beginning of the NGE trailer song...

Supercar is a kickass group and I about flipped out of my chair when I was watching Eureka 7 and "Storywriter" started playing. I admit, Eureka 7 is not my thing and I quit watching it after the first few episodes, but I was extremely excited that Supercar's song was put in... If I remember correctly, it was used more than once in those first couple of episodes... once, I think, when that main character kid was surfing or skyboarding or whatever it's called... and a second time when they were in the mecha...? But I could be wrong, I just know it started playing in the background and I recognized it and then thought, "Whoa, it's Supercar! What are THEY doing here???"

And yeah, it has kind of a rock/techno beat with male vocals...

Well, the song that played when they went into orbit was indeed Supercar's "STORYWRITER", but it doesn't really sound like anything I've heard form Eva, and I dont' particualrly remember it being played during and "highly emotional" scenes.

Thanks for all the info on the matter, I listen to songwriter and it is not the song, but I agree it is the song used in the later part. I'm going to rewatch the episode and try to get some more info on this. But again thanks for all the help.

It is, from what I heard during the scene it played in, was completely a cello playing in the background. Kind of reminds me of the song Shinji keep on playing off and on during Eva when he played the cello, but it only reminds me of that.

I just finish watching today's episode of Eureka and I once again heard the song that reminded me of Evangelion. It is, from what I heard during the scene it played in, was completely a cello playing in the background. It makes it easier to identify if I can skip over the vocal or instrumental tracks... though to be honest, a lot of the songs have strings/cello...

As far as I can tell it is totally instrumental and it begins with cello, it plays during the very beinning of episode 11 when Anemone is introduced. She is eating jam, I guess, and her and Dominic are talking about The End.

Ah, that's big a help :) That cello song is called Yochou, and it's on OST 1, disc 1, track 18.

I have a quick question. I have been searching for a song from tonights Eureka 7 (July8/9) that played on Adult Swim. Its the trance style song that played when the Nirvache(sp?) put up the shield to protect Renton and the others. I really liked it, and it would be much appreciated if someone could tell me which song it was, or (even better) post a link to a download.
