Which couple is the most endearing? I really like Trowa/Quatre (Gundam Wing), Rikou/Kazahaya (Legal Drug), and Sobi/Ritsuka (Loveless). However, my #1 is Yuichi/Wataru (Only the Ring Finger Knows).

My favourites don't have much - make that any - variation so for anything that has to do with anything (besides bad as in "horrible" assets) Sasuke and Naruto are my favourite.

April-san listed a good one for unappealing & sweet, recently I've been reading and watching xxxHolic and those two do come across as compelling in an odd way of their own.

I'd say the worst I read in fan fiction (aside from that one Ash and Pikachu one I read, where I think Pikachu became a human...) would be Sesshoumaru and Jaken from Inuyasha, and that was not pretty. I nominate those two for filling out everything bad.

Which couple are the most endearing? - Very subjective, and I actually opted for Shin x Sena of Eyeshield, but I figured Eyeshield fans would murder me, and it's fanon anyway. So I'll settle for Ran Shuuei x Li Kouyuu of Saiunkoku Monogatari - their comfort scene got me melting like butter. ;)

Which couple that you have come across is the oddest? - Shao Taishi x Sa Enju of the new anime Saiunkoku Monogatari. I mean, the man walks around with the other's ashes and talks to it.

Which couple strikes you as inane? - Yuujirou and Tooru of Princess Princess, I guess. Individually, they work well, especially as friends, but I'm not seeing the pairing at all. I find myself getting more turned off when the anime intensified the shounen ai hints between them, really...

Lol. Shinji and Kaworu met each other in a day, spent time with each other in a day, then Shinji killed Kaworu.

In that short span of time, there was something...profound. All the other relations Shinji had with others were different, strange, heartbreaking, and somewhat odd O_o

I think that they will always be immortal.

Shinji and Kaworu: a match made in Heaven... in more ways than one. ^_^To me, its was the most realistic concerning in interaction and social development, concerning real live interaction that is.... i know because i have seen that happening...Evangelion in general had the most profoundly realistic characterizations (psychologically) I have ever seen in... maybe anything. As far as Kaworu is concerned, he provided stability for Shinji in the most unstable period of his life (most unstable at that point in time, anyway).Rei dying and being replaced by an imposter, Asuka's psyche unraveled, Misato grieving over Kaji's death with no way for him (Shinji) to comfort her, Touji brought to the brink of death by his own hands, and the city evacuated and in ruins... the list goes on...I can't see Shinji not falling for him.

I actually think AshxPikachu. I don't like the pairing, but maybe in a fanfiction where they make Piakchu human (or part human) I can just see it as cute, but yet I wouldn't really be into it. Heh, that's a little confusing.

Seishirou x Subaru is pretty damn tragic. I'll mention Roxas x Axel aswell, since I've been OBSESSED ever since my completion of KHII. I agree with Shinji x Kaworu aswell. Adrian and Lawrence from the short manga Boys Next Door is very heartwrenching aswell.
