sorry about this....you just delete it when you read it....but I have a question....there are a some topics that are doubled such as anime twins and characters you most resemble....and there are about 20 topics about recomendations which is super to see people who would gladly help you ....but some can be deleted or maybe a sticky topic about this forums recomendations something like that....

The recommendation subforum needs to come back, and without a post count like there used to be one, and why that was deleted, seems to be a mystery.

however when someone starts a new topic that has the same content as some other one mods usually just send this person a link to the other topic and erase his....but I can't judge coz I posted in the clone one .....

amvs ......why don't you do smoething about that...after all this is anime forum...so anime section sould be neat....and an example.....why can't you do something about it...

You know, I wouldn't mind a sub section for anime recommendations, I don't see how it could be a bad addition.

Would make the anime section a lot cleaner, that's for sure.

The AMV sticky is the one thing I've never understood. Not only should posting links to AMV's be contrary to AN's posting guidelines...

Do not include links in your posts or your signature to ... sites with illegal video...

...but even if they were somehow legit, I can't see why the sticky is on the main board. Organizationally, it should be in the Music (Anime & Game) subforum, I think. Or more likely - the Off Topic forum. It really doesn't have anything to do with anime, beyond the pirated video.

We can't post links to an *.mp3 file, but we can post links to an AMV containing that same *.mp3 file in an unauthorized video? That doesn't make sense. Okay, let's say the anime companies think they're cute and an effective form of advertising - does the RIAA really approve of American pop songs being used as background music for some kid's AMV? Should we forward them a few links to find out?

It's been done. That's why AMV.org can no longer host videos using music by certain artists. Creed and Evanescence come to mind.
