Yes another new thread for me. I am asking this time which are all you guys/girls favorite Fullmetal Alchemist episodes. I am almost done viewing all of the Fullmetal Alchemist episodes Sooooo my list of favorite episodes is small right now until I view them all. Here's a few of mine:

1.) "Reunion of The Fallen"
2.) "The Scar"
3.) "Holy Mother"
4.) "Theory of Avarice"
5.) "The Sinner Within"
6.) "The Phantom Thief"

3 of those are on my Volume 9 DVD. (1, 4, and 5)

Episode 37 is the next one I have to view. 36 is where I just finished with my DVD's. I love Roy Mustang! Can't wait to view that one asap!

Edit: I haven't seen past 36 on DVD, but I have seen a few here and there past 36 on AS. I'd rather view them on DVD though.

HAHAHAHAHAHA I like you, but I had something else in mind (who are AFI) and to be honest I only cut myself to relieve some of the pain when I re-watch the anime. :P Anyway....

My favorite episode was 51 not because it was good or anything just because it was the end of the torture.....only to find out I was a masochist and to my dismay was a movie made which was really pointless because it was no longer Fullmetal Alchemist. Sure the brothers are back together but really in the middle of World War II come on that served no real purpose.

In my opinion, the FMA movie (and the whole Gate concept) would have been much better set during the Revolutionary War. Or the Neolithic Age, or something like that. Yep.

...

Episodes 41 and 42

You crazy? That's supposed to be why Alchemy is so powerful at this time in Ed's world, because of the large influx of souls from WW2, one of the bloodiest wards in Earth's history, and I'm pretty sure with the highest body count, or at least one of the highest. No war since has had so many people die. I'm willing to bet that the creator learning that was probably part of the inspiration for the manga/show (assuming the alter-Earth thing is in the manga as well)

For me? My favorite is the very last episode, because it contains my favorite scene in the entire show, and what I think is one of the greatest lines in any show, ever.

When Roy takes the Fuhrer's "treasure", and slowly raises it, then says "Fuhrer Bradley, how many times must I kill you before you die?" *chills*. Too bad they changed it in the English version, it's one of the best lines ever.

The question is are you? DON'T YOU EVER INSULT ARAKAWA!!!! She isn't so low as to stoop to some alternate universe crap and some cheap Doors to the Truth concept. I'm sorry buddy but you lose this bet!!! Ante up!!!

I don't have a specific episode that I liked. In fact, I don't even know the names of the episodes or what happened in what number episode (except the last two). Also, I don't think that creating a Door of Truths and an Alternate World is stooping low, it's just an easy way out, which doesn't mean it makes the series bad.

Silly boy I said the concept Bones created for the doors. Arakawa made the Doors to the Truth but she didn't turn it into total nonsense. And yes making the alternate universe was bad because it lead to a pointless movie and everything in between.

I didn't think the concept of alternate universes was that bad. All it did was prove the anime alchemy was what it should have been: magic. After all, there is no "science" of alchemy. That in and of itself is ridiculous. It can be scientific, but all it boils down to is magic. If the anime wants to take that route, then fine. It's not like that changes the way people perceive the manga. You are a perfect example.

Yes but if you think about it in the alternate worlds the only two things that were common were that Humans existed and that...hmm.

Can somebody tell which are..you know. Okay, you know, like `lovey dovey` ones? I was gonna` start on *ahem* Evagelion, but I chose, Full Metal Alchemist. I started on three episodes already. I just want to know which episodes have scense where Winry and Ed have scenes. Heh.

Ep. 13: Fullmetal VS Flame

Why?

Three words:
"I LOVE DOGS!"

EmberAlchemist0
June 21st, 2006, 09:07 PM
Episode 13 dog moment:
Fuery: "A cat? Looks like bad news for this guy. I was hoping the Colonel would take him."
(Colonel Mustang enters)
Mustang: "Dog huh?" [pause] "I LOVE DOGS!"

LOL!! I love that scene on Episode 13.
(I think I worded that right, but since I don't know it for memory it might be a little off what is actually said.)

minmae I can't say for sure which episodes are "lovey dovey" like you had asked. All I can offer is this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fullmetal_Alchemist_Episodes

It shows all the episodes so maybe it will help a little I guess. Let me know. :)

There is no "lovey dovey" period. There is more of that in Eva and its about depressed children.

Nothing like that in FMA. Unless you consider head-bashing with a wrench to be romantic.

Now that I think about it there isn't lovey dovey with Ed and Winry.
That's my error. :(
There should be though, but that's my opinion. :P

I haven't seen all the episodes yet. I'm on the episode that is on Saturday nights on adult swim which right now is 45 this weekened. So I'm not a complete expert. =/

Ok Episode 48(?) "Goodbye" I love in this Episode:
Havoc and Fuery are dressed up as Riza and Roy. When Roy is actually in Central with Riza. Then Ed finally gets rid of Sloth.

So I add this to my list of faves. I can actually say this since I'm about done with FMA series on adult swim and with the DVD's there isn't many episodes I dislike.

I have a question about this Episode I brought up. I think it's 48.
WTF Happened to Lieutenant Colonel Frank Archer?!? Man! He was all messed up looking in this Episode almost looked like The Terminator.
