To be honest, I don't think those two are comparable--at least, not easily comparable. Their powers are completely different! Kikyou is a Shinto priestess whose powers are allegedly a gift from the Shinto deities; Miroku is a Buddhist monk whose powers are allegedly a gift from the Buddha. It's hard to compare spiritual arrows to sacred sutras.

If you're talking about character, on the other hand, then I prefer Miroku over Kikyou. Kikyou has rubbed me the wrong way too many times. Miroku is lecherous, but he does not go out of his way to be nasty to other people, and he doesn't belittle people.

miroku is better ne day. watching kikyou make the moves on inuyasha is a real pain.

Is it really fair to compare them? Miroku, despite being lecherous, is a fairly popular character. And as for Kikyou, while having a few, diehard fans, is pretty much hated by a large number of Inuyasha viewers. So this is a little onesided, dont you think? Personally though, I don't really like either of them more than the other. To me they both have their qualities that make them good characters.

i believe that Kikyou has gone way to far when it comes to getting her life back and getting Inuyasha back.
In other words i really can't find anything to like about her except her persistance towards everything.

Miroku is far better because in many ways he is the comic relif of this anime and also reminds us to be careful as to who we allow into our groups??? lol

anyways when it comes to straight answers i belive Miroku is the best choice.

I am a Kikyo fan...so she gets my vote. I also think she is misunderstood.

Kikyo is better in this case because she can always use her arrows, but Miroku can only use his windtunnel when there are no posion buys flying around which happends often.:P
