To me, Dark and Heero seem to have the same expressions (although different personalities...) for example their 'determined to do something' looks and their smirks look a lot alike (although I don't see Heero smile/smirk that often but IF he did)

See, here's the thing. I stated my opinion, rather bluntly (which is my style anyways, but that's not in question). You're comparing two characters who look nothing alike unless you make them...oh, unless you remove parts of their character to MAKE them look exactly alike. It's the equivalent of taking Rei and Asuka from Evangelion (both designed by the same person), putting them in a black and white panel and then removing their hair. They'd look exactly the same sans minor details, because the character designer doesn't do eighty bajillion different styles in a show. This isn't exactly the same case, but I do hope you understand what I'm saying.

I really can't see any similarity between the two aside from the fact that they are both male. Supposedly, as that makes the assumption that Heero is actually human.

All anime characters start to blur together in groups coded by hair colour, regardless of gender after a while. As far as looks go at least. The exceptions are leading men with beards, becuase their so few and far between, and masked villians, who fall into their own little clique.

Really, I regard the both of them with the same level of emotion, really. Sousuke is pretty emotionless and that's the point of his character and why he's the center of the comedy of FMP!.

Well I could say that Kurz looks alot like Rau La Cruze,QUATTRO and posssibly even zechs but they all have different animators so you have to imagine how they would look animated by the same guy.
