Has anyone seen these? I heard there were four and (I think) they were an extra on the Japanese DVD release. I totally want to watch them but I can't find where to download them with subs anywhere! So: are they good, and if you know where I can find them, could you PM me?? Thanks sooo much. :-D

There are three, the extra one you are talking about is probably the one with Al in the real world which isn't all that special. If you want a place you can at least watch them give me a pm.

You don' t need to download them , you can just watch some streaming. I did that. I liked the OVAs where all the characters were reunited and had lots of fun! That was the funniest.

Youtube has em all, though most are unsubbed. Kuroneko fansubbed a couple of the OVAs, just search them on yahoo (as im not sure if we can provide links to fansubs). Honestly the only OVA worth watching is the Chibi one. The others arent that great.

The Hommunculus vs Alchemists OVA was so funny. I laughed when he actually asked the "viewer" for help. XD I didnt know there was one for Al in a real world. =\

The reason why they ask the "viewer" for help is because that is the video for the Fullmetal Alchemist ride at Universal Studios Japan.
Yea, Theres one with a giant Al statue going around Japan talking. For some reason he goes to the Bones studio to look for him...

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa... Universal Sudios Japan... FullMetal Alchemist ride... dammit, japan gets all the cool games first, they have arcades that are 9 stories tall and now I read about a FullMetal Alchemist ride... being in the US is like the most unfair thing for a person like me.

I saw the Chibi one and it's cute. I saw the first half of the viewer/Homunculi one too. Haven't seen the Al on yet.
Wow, I didn't know the viewer OVA was for Universal Studios. Why can't the US Universal Studio prep up for cool stuff like this? I mean Fear Factor?!! For 50 dollars you'd think they'd have better rides and stuff (though the Waterworld exposition is hilarious and fun).

It supposedly only ran from March to May of 2005, im having some trouble finding any pics (might be one of those "rides" where they dont allow photography) from what ive read it was in a theater with full sized characters on stage with the video playing in the background.
The rest of Universal Studios: Japan's rides are the same as the orlando location (with some being from Islands of Adventure, and some from the movie park)

OMG!! I had no idea FMA had OVA's. Thats great news. I haven't seen any of them yet, but I'll definately be looking for them now. I can't wait to see those. Besides general searches and youtube, if anyone has tips on where I might look, I'd appreciate that. You can pm me.

Thanks a lot! ^^ Where did you find that BTW? I already have the Chibi Party OVA on my computer, but I need the 3rd OVA (the State Alchemists vs. Homonculus one) and the live-action Alphonse one. I've seen them on YouTube, but I don't think it's possible to download it to your computer from there... -_-;;

He just said he subbed it himself...
I'd imagine he either owns the dvd or got them off of BitTorrent (which btw has the Homunculus vs. Alchemists one already subbed)

Too bad I can't get Azureus (my BitTorrent client) to work. Probably my firewall and/or router... ><

I got the raw from bittorrent, downloaded a font with bittorent, used subcreator to make the subs and i used virtualdubmod to hard-encode the subs.

Do they actually have the OVA's for Fullmetal Alchemist on DVD? Are they available in the U.S.? Also where is the best place to buy them if they are available? I'd love to get my hands on a copy of each OVA if I can. Gotta complete my FMA collection. ^_^

It's only on R2 right now to my knowledge. I hope Funi puts them out, but it's hard to know at this point. The R2 DVD is called "Fullmetal Alchemist Premium Collection".

I'm sorry but what is an "R2"?? I'm not familiar with a lot of terms. >_<
Is it like a DVD since you said "R2 DVD".

R2, as in "Region 2". Check out Wikipedia's page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Region_2) to know about region encoding.
BTW, does anyone by any chance have or know where to find the FMA live-action OVA about Al for download (to save on a computer)?
And doumo arigatou for the other OVAs Sikibrada (I had the Chibi one but not the other one). ^^
