it's a game but i've read since december 2005 there exists a movie-version.
does anybody know if this is true and where to buy?

Not a movie but an OAV. The illustrator of the original game was Tony (http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/i/taka_tony/), so maybe it's the reason you have heard about it.

The anime was originally scheduled for the end of 2005, but the release was pushed back several times.

Now, according to Getchu, it will be released on 2006/07/28.

Basically it's a summer romance between members of a school natation club, I guess.

If it doesn't have any loli probably pretty good. A lot of Tony Taka fans out there. When Lady Innocent got licensed a lot of people inside the company was big Satoshi Urushihara fans.. witch probably helped it get licensed. If some hentai distributing company here has some Tony Taka fans in it maybe they'll be more likely to try and pull a few strings to get it here. ;)

I personally like Kazuya Kuroda way better than Tony. Tony's stuff looks too soft and blurry to me. I like clean, bold art.

Does Kuroda have an artbook, by the way? His doujins are impossible to find (to order) on the net...

I myself have found more then a few great titles over the years but its a drop in the ocean and as i watch most new hentai that comes out i know what we are all missing out on. Both true, per Getchu.com. MS Pictures (formerly Milky, which is now one of their labels) has scheduled the release of "淫妖蟲・蝕 〜凌触島退魔録〜 壱の巻" today.

Well, from what I know Milky just licensed rights to make movies based off the second Inyouchu game, Inyouchu Shoku. So it's still somewhat possible, with Amour still having rights to make movies off the first game. In my opinion.

And Shoku released a little earlier actually. It was out two days ago. Not bad and I think we'll actually get more than one episode here since it's a bigger company producing it, was a little weak on the tentacles though.

In laymen's terms, its very disappointing. The artist looks to be the same person who does Rei & Fuko- special duty agent, his style is good but the original artist Kazuya Kuroda is better in my book, his women = way hotter+cutter. The new characters faces and bodies seem distorted or unporportional compared to the original artist.

I guess the companies/publishers want to avoid or cut back on top-selling hentai being reverse imported, makes sense and is kinda on the obvious side considering so many crappy hentais' are being released. Prime examples of grade A hentai would be Taimanin Asagi, My Blow Jober/Stringendo, Accelerando, In Waru Kangofu and of course others but these are examples. These titles would be a hit over here amongst hentai fans without a doubt but they've still yet to localise any of them or even mention interest in them. Of what you list above, all but Taimanin Asagi are from Pink Pineapple (http://www.animenation.net/forums/showthread.php?p=6189762#post6189762), which is likely the problem.

JA is basically gone from the hentai market (the last new title they released was Taboo Charming Mother Vol. 6 on 23 October 2007, with the preceding (new) disc being Boobalicious Vol. 2 on 24 July 2007 (http://www.animeondvd.com/studio/studio.php?studio=113)), leaving only TRSI/Critical Mass Video, Media Blasters/Kitty Media, and Adult Source Media in play in Region 1. Hmm, well I didn't mind it. I thought the art style and the content of the episode was more faithful to the second game than Amour's Inyouchu was (they did venture off and do their own thing a bit, even though it rocked). I still prefer Amour's Inyouchu by far, but I think if Milky fleshes out Shoku with a few more episodes here it'll be a great series. I wasn't really disappointed, even though I don't like bugs and stuff and the animation clearly doesn't match up to Amour's, but oh well. Also looking at everything else Milky-MS pictures has been releasing lately ... I thought it was pretty surprising.

And yeah, it sucks that PinkPineapple refuses to do anything from the R1 side of things currently. Also I doupt it'll be anytime soon before we see anything from Pixy-Soft make it to the states (Taimanin Asagi). I've had some people at AnimeOnDVD forums do a good job explaining that Pixy is pretty successful with digitial distrubution (online sites where you can purchase their stuff, like dlsite.com) and they probably plan to stick with that over allowing other companies license their stuff, since that ends up being a bit risky.

It sucks though, I hate censorship but oh well. Most of my favorites aren't even licensed so I've learned to deal with it. >_<

Anyways, Amour rocks and Sora No Iro 2 will be great. :P

I don't know what it is, but having seen a few screenshots from Sora no Iro 2, it doesn't really look like Amour's style. I had to actually triple check to make sure the same studio was doing it.

As for Inyouchu, I'm willing to give MS's a pass, since even though the animation wasn't as good as Amour's, and it had nearly no tentacles, it did have double pseudo futanari. That's always fun.

According to articles seen on some of the Japanese sites I visit from time to time, the bigger concern to Pink Pineapple has been file sharing. That's why Pink Pineapple started it's own streaming service, Pink Pineapple TV, that features many of it's titles before you can even buy them in Japan on DVD.

These same file sharing issues is what lead Milky to withhold the last chapter of Taboo Charming Mother for a year and a half, and still to withhold the last volume of Sexy Magical Girl from the US market. I remember that Taboo Charming Mother showed up on various file sharing sites within a couple of days of Japananime's release of these disks. The same was true of many other titles recently.

If the people would opt to not buy the DVD in Japan so they can download an american version later, they're the same people who would opt to not buy the DVD in Japan and still download the japanese version. Like some others above I think I prefer the first episode myself. Even though this one was undeniably Tony Taka, I really like Kuroda Kazuya's style and I dunno, something about the first episode just had more of an Amour feel to it.
