Don't know how this will turn out as a new Buena Vistia Games stuidio is handling it.

The 1st one was ok. I wonder how this one will turn out. Looks alright though.

bumping this thread because there are new images for Turok 3 that give hope for all Turok fans. This image (3 screenshots in one image) shows that the much loved bow is back!

man, that does look pretty sweet. I have Turok 2(and it rocked hardcore on the 64) 1st was good, 4 was decent,other were eh. This looks like its got potential though, lets hope it hold up

The first and second were great, never played any others they made (cept for a crappy GB game, lol). I can't wait for this, myself, although I'm somewhat leery of what they're doing with the story.

turok 3? i thought there already was a turok 3 where you could play as either a guy or a girl. is this a remake?

That was Turok: Evolution I do believe.

That was only the second one.

Technically this game is called Turok: Heart of Darkness. I dont think anybody chooses to remember the 2 or 3 extra Turok games that came out on the N64 or that PS2/Xbox version of a while ago.

Holy cow, I played the first Turok at launch, and I had no idea there were so many of them after that. o_o

Sorry, I haven’t followed the franchise so I thought there was only 1 sequel. Anyway here is the list:

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion
Turok: Rage Wars

PS2/Xbox/Cube
Turok: Evolution
Gameboy
Turok: Battle of the Bionosaurs
PS3/Xbox360
Turok Next Gen

It's a bigger franchise then I thought.

Turok 1 and 2 also came out on the PC, that's how I played them. I wouldnt play them on an N64 with its controller even if I was paid to.
