Lee.....a drunken master?

I watched his moves carefully and they were the drunken fist fighting technique! I didn't know that a anime could demonstrate this type of movement! I was shocked! my question is, does lee ever use this form of fighting on his own instead of accident? and aren't there side effects for using drunken fist?

Lee's too young to drink alcohol… So, he wouldn't be able to access that level of Drunken Fist legally, but he could learn to tap into the "mindset" of the style, as it were.
Just not get truely drunk and disorderly.

Side effects? A hangover's one of them…

The 2 (or 3 i guess) times hes used it so far have been accidents. So far he hasnt just used it sober...he may not even know he could do it

lee uses them one more time in the series in a filler episode and the first time when he is fighting one of orochimarus henchmen but he never uses it on purpose

he also uses it in ep 157 with the curry but that's by accident too.

Gai wouldn't be able to use it as well as Lee can. Gai himself stated that Lee is a natural born master of the Drunken Fist. If Lee was older, like 20+, we'd probably see him occasionally throw back a few, but as of now, he's just focusing on the alcohol-free style of fighting.:P
