I have some questions concerning the anime and manga - Gantz. From what I think I know, the anime has 4 main story arcs and 26 episodes. My question is, out of those four, which are from the original manga and which are not? Also, what are the four arcs called? And, is the manga longer than the anime, with more story acrs? If so, what are those new story arcs called. Lastly, how many chapters is the Gantz manga (if its still going on, how many so far). Thanks in advance

the manga right now has 227 chapter, the last mission in the anime doesn't exist in the manga and was made to make some kind of ending(a not very good one in my opinion), the anime cover just one story arc, the manga is in the 3rd arc now

With so many chapters going on in the manga, I wonder if Kei and the tall friend were revived or not. Maybe even that sexy girl that people say she looks like Tomb Raider Kei Kurono had feelings for.

If you mean the Kei girl, no, she wasn't revived, but Gantz screwed up when bringing her to the room, so even though she was a copy, her real body was still alive. The tall friend gets revived, but the tomb raider girl doesn't. Kei has a new gf, anyway. The arrogant guy from the bird mission (if that happened in the anime) was also revived.

Gantz anime had a story?
Yeah, you see, it was about this dude named Kei Kurono, and he met his old childhood friend one day at the station and they both got killed trying to save a hobo.
But instead of going to an afterlife, they went to a mysterious room with other dead people and a mysterious black ball called Gantz. Gantz sends them to this place and instructs them to find and kill an alien.
After killing the alien, Kei and the survivors got scored, you see, if you get 100 points you can leave.
And so Kei, his chick the world's biggest tease, his old childhood friend, and Sadako set forth to free themselves from Gantz.

Actually, they are only copies of their old bodies (which are already dead and disposed of by Gantz). And the girl doesn't like Kei, she likes his friend.

After the end of the third mission in the anime series, the manga and anime split into two differt paths, so that gantz the anime will end after 26 episodes.
