FF: Advent Children

Planning on finishing up Ah My Goddess TV (Season 1) as well with Vol 4 and 5.

Naruto's uncut release, starting the Fourth of July (Independance Day) this year. Forget the edit DVD coming out this month...I'm going for the big bang! (Though I may end up diving for it anyways, because curiosity bites)

Plus that new release from RightStuf. Boys Be... A little something to continue my romantic/comedy streak.

They also have To Heart....sorely missing from my collection. It's supposed to go alongside my Comic Party box, but right now there's just an empty space for the discs.

Slayers re-release (If FUNimation can ever secure some good masters for their release....I heard they're having trouble with this area)

Let's not forget they snagged Tsubasa. Wouldn't mind seeing my favorite CLAMP characters in their new story and world.

AnimEigo is supposed to be reissuing the Ah! My Goddess OAV series too or so I heard. That's on my 'must upgrade' list.

And I've got so much else to finish, or stuff that's on the backburner that I know I won't get to all these.

- Maison Ikkoku (heard the final set is coming out soon...and I've yet to see 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 before I even 'bother' with the 8th and last one)

I'm actually looking forward to the Ultimate Uncut versions of the Saiyan saga for Dragonball Z, and there's supposed to be yet another new remake of Fist of the North Star that I'm hoping turns out to be good. I need my fights.

the up coming April is really an excited month.

Well, I definitely plan on purchasing the Ghibli movies, Mai Hime, the Gonzo trio(Basilik, Trinity Blood and Speed Grapher) and Blood +.

For curiousity, I might check out Advent Children just to see what the hype is about. Oh, and Fantastic Children looks good.

You have to see it to understand it's awesomeness. The early part of the series is so-so, but around episode 10 it becomes great.

I don't think he means the dub has "been out for a while now", he means the actual movie has. We have around a month before the dub is released.

Some stores are taking pre-orders and they usually have display cases for them. That may be what you saw. If not that, then they are bootlegs. It's too soon for stores to have even recieved the DVDs since they tend to get them no more than a week before the release date, so I don't think they 'jumped the shark.'
