What anime has made you cry? I have a good list and for anyone that likes Drama and Romance, i would watch them. You can get them on AnimeSuki.
Canvas = This one made me cry at the end cause it was moving. Its only two episodes long, but it is a good anime. BE WARNED! THIS HAS SOME ADULT CONTINT IN IT! Mild nudity.
RizelMine = Mostly this one made me laugh, but on the last episode it made me cry. Again the moment was good. THIS CONTAINS MILD NUDITY! ALSO BE WARNED THAT IT WILL MAKE YOUR STOMACH HURT! ^_^
Hanbu No Tsuki Ga Noboru Sora = This was an excelent Romance anime. It was moving and once you start, your hooked. This one had a good ending. I cried cause it was a happy moment. This one DOESNT have any adult or nudity in it. Its clean. It's only 6 episodes long, but its a good one. I recomend it highly.
Suzuka = Very good anime. Its was very funny and moving at times. The end made me cry, because it was another happy ending. This one DOESNT have any adult or nudity in it. Its clean.
These are great anime. I would recomend watching them. But, the first two do have mild nudity, so be warned.

I have never actually cried when watching anime, but I have come very close to crying.
Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuioku-hen - The ending was so heart-wrenching that I came this close *holds index finger and thumb about a centimeter apart* to weeping.
Fullmetal Alchemist - There have been scenes or episodes where I could only stare at the television in horror and will my eyes not to start watering.

No anime to this date has made me cry. This is because most of the sad parts of the anime I watch have been spoiled for me before I watched them.

The last few episode of Mai-Hime, any fight in Naurto that ends with Rock Lee half dead in them, when master Asia died in G Gundam. I will make note that Fullmetal Alchemist tried too hard to make sad stories that were anything but sad. It makes me think that if people can cry during Fullmetal Alchemist they will cry at pretty much anything.

I remember crying many times thoughout Fushigi Yuugi, especially in the second half of the series. I also remember tearing in various moments of the Sailor Moon series that got emotional. Other series I remember that did that for me were Ayashi no Ceres, Fruits Basket, Slayers, and the Rurouni Kenshin Tsuiokuhen OVA.

I agree that one was sad but all the other so called sad moments sucked. The one with Hughes daughter was somewhat crushing because she was such a young girl who didn't understand the situation.

You can still use spoiler tags in the Quick Reply. Whether or not you use the Quick Reply or "Go Advanced" doesn't affect whether or not you can use vB code tags. It's just a matter of typing in

Grave of the Fireflies and Barefoot Gen are given.
Other than that, Haibane Renmei; that's why I like it so much. The episode before the last where a certain character was trying to make amends with everyone before her time was over tore me completely apart (I don't think that's much of a spoiler). I cried like a little girl.

Plenty of anime have made me cry, but I cried multiple times during anime like Fruits Basket, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Rurouni Kenshin (both the TV series and OVAs). Those were the most emotional anime for me since their stories were especially good at making me relate with the characters and understand their pain and sorrow.

While a lot of shows had me almost to the point of crying, the one that actually had me bawling like a baby was Gankutsuou episode 18. Hmm...maybe I'm the only one?
But I do admit that I teared up early on while watching Fullmetal Alchemist. And the ending to Cowboy Bebop and Millennium Actress will always leave me sad.

I wasn't actually crying but I did get something in my eye when I watched Hikaru no Go. :naughty:
Towards the end of the series when Sai disappears and Hikaru searches for him but in the end fails to find him. Then when he finally plays a game of GO again he discovers Sai will always be with him when he plays GO. Very Touching.

You were not the only one to cry when watching Gankutsuou. That is one of the absolute best anime drama series I have ever watched.
What's weird about it is that I actually was turned off at first by the animation. I was like 'what is this?' then I stopped watching the first episode after about 10 minutes. And stopped watching the series. I had it for almost a month before I actually went back to give it a chance. I can't believe I almost deleted it from my computer!
*flashback*FRANZ!!!*flashback*
Anyway, I also cried while watching Pretear. I cried because of what I thought happened. Then I cried at the end. :P
One thing I watched that really messed me up was Kaze to Ki no Uta. It was just....depressing and sad.

But at least there was blood when you know who got impaled with the Zeta's nose. That was one of the best deaths ever!

Yes, Zeta has a lot of my favorite deaths, and the one you mentioned was certainly one of them. The look on his face was priceless as he got impaled.
