Do you think that the possibility of the baudelaire parents killing olaf's parents in a series of unfortunate events sets up a sort of episode VI kind of realization that Olaf is a good/pitied person?

I wish Count Olaf weren't so one-sided. But I don't think that he will be as complex as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.

No. Because he took his revenge on the kids he doesn't deserve pity.

And the music in the film was awesome. For some reason, it's one of my favorite films.
