The shadow dived down and crashed down through the courtyard, breaking the courtyard in half... "****, GRIFFON!"

[FURUBA4EVER]

"...Griffon...?" Mayra muttered, confused and still wondering why that shadow had such a strange aura.

[VidelCoolGirl]

Emiko frowned."Why the hell is there a griffon here?"

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus sighed, looking at the beast that broke the courtyard in half.

I'm not bothering asking friend or foe...

He then extended his zanpakuto into a seven-lash whip, then swung at the griffin.

[Takumi]

Jack raised his Zanpakuto, yelling, "SHINE, SOKURYOKU!" It glowed as it shifted into Shikai form. Now, a huge, golden-handled sword, with a blade two feet wide and a length of five feet, was clutched in his grip. He flash stepped forward, swung in the air, and cleaved at the griffon.

[max payne]

The griffon hovered in the rift and screeched "I can't fight it at the moment..." The griffon flew toward Max, Mayra and Emiko

[Takumi]

Jack landed with a crash in front of the three and swung at the Griffon, cutting a furrow in its flesh.

[VidelCoolGirl]

"Then I got it under control.." Emiko jumped at eh griffon. Fist ragin with electricity, she hit it, causing it to recoil. "Maya, Arrow now!"

[max payne]

The griffon screeched and turned onto the others who attacked him "WE CAN'T FIGHT IT, GET OUT NOW, BEFORE THE OTHERS COME!"

[FURUBA4EVER]

Mayra raised her bow and arrow, and she then fired an arrow at the griffon. She was trying to suspend its wings so it couldn't take flight...

[Takumi]

The Griffon gave an ear splitting screech and attempted to get over Jack. He swung the Zanpakuto back, then dealt it a mighty blow with the flat of the sword, sending it sliding back.

[FURUBA4EVER]

Hearing Max's words, Mayra then lowered her bow once again, nodded, and then followed him.

[Lord Timaeus]

Tiameus, after having missed the griffon, swung his zanpakuto at it again.

Come on, I know you're better than this.

He missed again, as Timaeus ran toward Max.

[max payne]

"GET OUT NOW YOU ****ING IDIOTS, GRIFFONS HERE ARE DIFFERENT!" Max yelled

[Takumi]

Jack leaped into the air, and swung his Zanpakuto in a broad arc. The blade caught in the pinion of the griffon's wing. As it fell to the ground, flapping helplessly, he pushed his full weight down, feeling Sokuryoku cutting through its muscle and flesh. It screeched and pecked at him. He dodged its peck and continued cutting relentlessly, riding the Griffon down to the ground.

[Lord Timaeus]

Jack, Max said to run away. I suggest we follow his advice.

[max payne]

7 more shadows circled the sky "GET OUT OF HERE NOW, THEY'RE COMING!"

[Takumi]

"Right."

Jack pulled the Zanpakuto from the griffon's severed wing and leaped off it, running after Timaeus and Max.

Mayra was already far enough away from the courtyard...yet she could feel strange auras coming from one of the next rooms.

With a blank stare, she turned silently to face one of the rooms.

...What is this?

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus went out of the courtyard to face Max, and waited for Jack.

Come on...

[Takumi]

Jack flash stepped over to where Timaeus was. "Here am ah."

[max payne]

Max stopped suddenly, he heard a voice in his head...
"I'm going to disect you, slowly, then i'll kill you friends..."

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus blinked at Mas as he stopped.

What's going on...?

[VidelCoolGirl]

Emiko came up behind Mayra, scarring her a bit. "What? What are you looking at?"

[max payne]

Max walked toward Mayra "whats happ..."

the voice said again "No, I'll Disect you frineds, then I'll kill Mona, then I'll kill you, slowly"
"grrrrrrrr..."

Turning abruptly, Mayra saw Emiko and said, "Ah...nothing...except I was feeling strange auras coming from that room." She then pointed to the room in front of them, even though nothing was in there.

"Where are the others...?"

Mayra then saw Max coming towards them...though he seemed to be hearing something.

"What's wrong?"

((Maybe we should all get separated or something...))

((Good Idea, give me an excuse not to show up for a bit.))

Max walked into the room, and dissapeared before their very eyes...

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus blinked as Max disappeared into the room.

This is suicide...

[FURUBA4EVER]

Mayra then saw Max disappear in a flash...

"...What...?"

Mayra then noticed that Emiko was no longer near her...

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus also looked around, as no one else was in sight. He couldn't even sense their soul energy.

Damn... now this is even bigger suicide...

[max payne]

Max fell out of the sky and back onto the courtyard "WHAT, but it was inverted, the sky was on the floor, the rrom was spinning, he was dizzy

Within the blink of an eye, Mayra then looked around and couldn't see anyone else nearby...nor could she sense their auras. She was no longer in the hallway from before but was now in what looked to be a dungeon...

Max vomited and shouted "COME HERE ALUCARD!"

Emiko hit the tough ground with a thud. "Oww....what the hell jus happened?...Wiat.." Emiko realized that
Mayra or Max was nowhere to be seen. Emiko stood up on her feet. Oh, man, where the hell am I? Alone all the more… She threw a look around her surroundings. It looked to be a swamp. There was mud and dead vines everywhere. She groaned. “God, I swear, I am so going on vacation as soon as this stuff is over.” She began to call out her friends names. “MAX!! MAYRA! ANYONE!” Getting no reply, she desided to go look for herself. She set off against the muddy ground, running off in no particular direction, not noticing that somewhere, someone was

[Takumi]

Jack stepped in.

Minutes later he found himself in a golden room.

[Takumi]

((I'm stepping out for a bit now))

Max heard his voice "You friends will fall to my hounds..."

[FURUBA4EVER]

It's dark in here...and the aura itself feels pretty foul as well, Mayra thought silently.

She then raised her bow once again and magnified her aura so light could be seen. As soon as she had, however, she dropped the bow and arrow and slumped to the floor.

There are...corpses here!

Max saw Alucard, he was walking toward him, he grabbed him by the throat and threw him at the wall

Emiko slowed when she swore she heard the faint sound of barking. ”Must have been my imagination… She began to jog ahead again, this time going a little faster than she had before. Suddenly, out of her peripheral vision, she saw a wolf. Except this wolf happened to be at least two times bigger than the ones she had seen before. “Crap…” Emiko said, before a hoard of wolfs surrounded her.

[Lord Timaeus]

Once he stopped panicking, he noticed he was in a dungeon, filled with many torture devices and rotten corpses and skeletons. He sensed no soul energy, but kept guard anyway.

This is not good...

[max payne]

Max focused on Alucard, he looked at him, Alucard then grabbed him by the arm and threw him across the courtyard

It was then when Emiko realized that there were some oddly shaped rocks around her. Only it took her a few seconds to realize they weren’t rocks, they were skulls….

Emiko shivered, “Man, this place is REALLY starting to creep me out…” Suddenly, as expected a wolf lunged at her, Emiko got down and began to strike the wolfs as they came at her, hitting most, but since they were string, they ran at her again, she was starched a few times, and bitten, but she kept good time on them. She wanted to run, but she knew that they would probably catch up to her, no matter how fast she ran. She continued to battle with the beasts.

Max was bleeding heavyily and Alucard raised him...
"I'm going to make you watch as your friends die..."

((Lokkik...two months have passed in the storyline just so you know. XD))

Staring at the corpses around her, Mayra then heard faint moving in the dungeon. She then heard the creaking of bones...

No..., she thought as her eyes widened in fear.

The corpses were rising and slowly moving towards her.

Max elbowed Alucard in the ribs, that just made Alucard angrier and he threw him onto the floor. "give up..."

(Well whats happened and did Lokik wake up or is he still out (could have been a coma instead i hope not though) i wanna know whats going on and attempt to help if at all phsically possible Brr it must be cold there as well)

Emiko was doing fine at first, but there seemed to be more and more wolfs coming at her. Even with her electricity, it seemed they had unlimited strength. She could kill them all, but they would rise again, and continue to attack her.

I don’t think I can do this….I hope the others aren’t as bad off as I am…

She swatted an airborne wolf and shot a bolt through its body. It hit the tree and began to howl loudly. She could hear the rustle of leaves against the muddy forest floor. She crouched down preparing herself for an attack.

I’ll be dammed if I’m gonna die by a bunch of mangy mutts…

((Well...I would think Lokkik woke up by now. We're in a castle that we had to teleport to...))

Finally regaining the strength back in her legs, Mayra finally stood up and aimed her arrow at the advancing corpses. She fired one at the group, and the arrow blew them apart; however, within a few seconds, they were regenerating as if nothing had stopped their advancement.

No...My arrow can't defeat them?

(So can i come or not and whats happening to everyone right now in the castle cause i read a bit of MAxes and Alcurad is killing him whats going on?)

((I suppose you can try and track us down. We're all separated in differents areas right now, and Max is having a death match with Alucard.))

((I also think when we were separated, we were each separated and transported somewhere where our inner fears would be shown. That just makes things more interesting. XD))

As she slumped down to the ground once again, Mayra muttered a barrier spell which would keep the corpses from getting to her for a while...but tears were streaming from her eyes. She was afraid.

Nii-sama...I don't know if I can do this anymore...

Max stood up and shook off the dust from his clothes...
"DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ME!" Max changed into Light Max and started to fight back "RRRRRRARRR!"

(Excelent i was planning on continuing with Lokiks past this will work just fine) Lokik woke up inside a castle after sleeping and training a bit since it been about 2 months since he passed out "Damn what happened" he said as he got up and looked around "Oh no" he muttered backing into a corner muttering "It's only a dream" to himself after what he had seen with his past something that had happened one year ago and haunts him to this day

Max smashed Alucard into a wall, Alucard smiled "fool"

Emiko was losing. And if it's one thing she hated, it was losing. Whether it was a battle, or someone she loved. She punched at another wolf, hitting with forse, but having no effect on the beast. She could keep this up for long. She was getting weak in her punches, and she could feel that her electricity was being used up, if her sprirt energy was gone, then she was done for. A wolf from behind knocked her down.

Dammit! Why cant I win against these things? Mom never lost against anything! She always won a fight! Why can't I be more like her? Why cant she still be here?"

Emiko could feel her eyes begin to water. She shook her head and wiped her face. Strong people didnt cry. She had to be strong, so strong that nobody could be taken away from her again. She couldn't save her mom becasue she wasnt strong enough, and she was dammed if she couldnt save har friends, let alone herself.

"Mom, if you're there in heaven, please give me strength!"

Lokik finally got over realizing what was happening "Your not Arian" he said getting up "I saw the hallows take her one year ago and do something to her that i will never forget" he says changing over to Lokik (Hey can hallows take over peoples bodies this is a REALLY important question)

[max payne]

Max sensed agony and fear around him "NO!!" Max's wings came out, this time, they were huge (7 feet long) and there were 8 of them "ALUCAAARD!"

[Lord Timaeus]

All of a sudden, Timaeus sensed a huge amount of soul energy coming from behind him. He turned around to see a tall, pale figure with spiked white hair and blood red eyes. He was wearing what can only be described as black bondage covering him from neck to foot, and was carrying a zanpakuto, roughly the size of a short sword, with a silver hilt and crossgaurd.

Ah, I sense a shinigami spirit, the first I've sensed in centuries. What dares you to enter into Alucard's castle?

Timaeus simply glared at him, his zanpakuto burning brighter than ever.

I don't know who you are, and I don't give a damn. What I'm doing here is my own business. Now enough talk. RISE, AKATSUKI!

He then shot the flames of his zanpakuto straight at the figure. To his surprise, the figure seemed to be merely absorbing the flames rather than being inflicted by them, as the figure used the soul energy he absorbed and fired it straight through Timaeus. Timaeus cried out, although not injured, was still feeling severe pain.

Silly creature. Your cheap shinigami tricks won't work on me.

(I'll guess that they can) Lokik drew his sword "This isn't real the Hallows took my Girlfriend away from me and took over her body you won't do that to me and i will destory this falsness that you are" he said unsheathing his sword

((...I suppose the souls inhabiting Hollows can.))

As she sat there, with the corpses creeping closer to her barrier, Mayra wiped the tears from her eyes and remembered something that had happened long ago...

"Nii-sama, will I ever be as strong as you?" a younger version of herself had asked.

She had just started her training as a miko...and she always had looked up to her older brother because of his strength in their family's chosen talent. Of course...then, Mayra herself hadn't shown much talent.

Her brother had just responded by smiling and told her, "You will become as strong as you have to be, Mayra. If it is willed to be, it will happen."

Mayra had just pouted at her brother for giving her such a clouded answer. Now, she wondered if those words were even true.

Nii-sama...I'm not meant to be strong...am I? I can't even vanquish a few corpses like you could...

Then, Mayra opened her eyes just as her barrier vanished. The corpse closest to her then grabbed her by the neck and began trying to choke her.

[max payne]

Max walked toward Alucard "Die..." Then Alucard laughed and stabbed Max in the chest, he became regular Max and spat blood... "you..."

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus cursed under his breath, as he sealed his zanpakuto and sheathed it.

So I can't use my zanpakuto... but no matter...

Way of Destruction No. 65: ROLLING THUNDER!

Timaeus fired a huge ball of lightning from the palm of his hands, which rolled straight at the figure. The figure simply absorbed the attack, and fired it back at him, once again causing Timaeus a great deal of pain.

Simpleton. I told you, your shinigami tricks won't work on me. Now it's my turn.

The figure raised his zanpakuto, pointing it straight at Timaeus.

Fly, Hanehiya!

The figure's zanpakuto turned to energy, then reappeared as a black crossbow, which the figure held by its silver crossguarded tail.

A shinigami...?

The figure gave an evil laugh that made timaeus shiver.

Yes, you're looking at the legendary former 3rd division captain, Maru Homuro. This weapon I hold is Hanehiya, the only crossbow zanpakuto in existence. With my skills, you don't stand a chance.

Just as the corpse enclosed its skeletal fingers around her neck, Mayra didn't resist; she couldn't stand her weakness and knew she wouldn't be able to fight it off. She then closed her eyes tightly.

What would it matter...if I died anyway?

She then remembered when she had said such a thing to her brother one morning after she had gotten frustrated with her lack of talent for being a miko. He had responded to her with a slap to the face; he then embraced her and told her...

"There are those who are strong themselves...and there are those who gain strength from others. Mayra, even if you don't gain strength from yourself, you can always gain strength from those around you; that is true strength. And I'm sure others around you will gain strength from your being there as well. Remember this, Mayra, for it will be the key to your strength."

That's right...Nii-sama told me that. I can't die yet...

I can't die yet!

Mayra's eyes then flashed open, and a light emanated from her. The light devoured the corpses around her, leaving no traces of the corpses behind. She then felt her throat and could no longer feel the touch of the skeletal hand upon it.

Alucard laughed and dug his hand further "You are a child, nothing more, you had to lie to get into your skool didn't you..."

Emiko had been badly attacked. Blood was dripping from her arms and legs. She had several cuts and slashes on her stomach from the wolfs claws. She could barely stand. She didnt want to die on the ground. She had to die on her feet. She remembered thw words her mom had said, not to long before she passed.

A shorter girl who had short blue hair, was sitting by a tree with a older version of her sitting next to her. The sky had been turning a dark red and the sun was setting. The shorter girl looked up to the bigger one. the smaller girl was rubbing her sore head.

"Oww, mom...that sparring match really hurt...why did you have to hit so hard?"

The older one began to laugh gently. "Emiko, you have to learn...matches are never as easy as you presume them to be. Be it a physical or mental...You're going to have to learn, that if you are defeated mentaly, you are as well defeated physically ."

The smaller girl looked at her mom confused. "Mooomm, why do you alwys speak with those wierd riddle things? Will you tell me what you meant by that?"

The mother looked down at her with a soft smile. "Because it's one of lifes lessons. Life lessons are never easy to get until the time is right."

Back in reality, Emiko had a serious look on her face. Her mom was right. She had already beaten herself in her mind. And if she was beaten mentaly, she could never beat these beasts. She stood up slowly, she was never one to lose, and if she wanted to win, she had to have already won in her mind. She grinned. A wolf had just begun to charge at her, she began to run at it also. "Like I said, I'm not gonna lose by a bunch of mutts!"

[max payne]

Alucard removed his hand and blood spilled from Max's chest, Max stared up at alucard defiently "*pant**pant* I..... Hate You..."

Standing up and looking around the dungeon, Mayra then noticed that the dungeon was entirely closed-off.

...How am I supposed to get out of here...? There doesn't seem to be a door or anything...

Mayra then closed her eyes and couldn't sense anything nearby...until...the surroundings of the dungeon began to change. The pressure on her head was immense, so Mayra closed her eyes.

Once she had opened them again, however, she was standing on a balcony...and griffins were circling overhead.

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus decided not to let fear get to him, while he ran behind a torture rack. Maru responded by firing a barrage of arrows straight toward Timaeus, hitting him in a few places.

It's no use hiding. I've mastered this zanpakuto to the point where my arrows can pass through anything at will. I suggest you don't die a coward, shinigami, and have at least some fight left in you.

Timaeus sighed.

He's right. My zanpakuto and kido attacks can't do ****, but I can't afford to lose. I still have a few more tricks left, let's hope it works.

He then pulled a small dagger from his uniform, as he dodged the rest of Maru's arrows.

So you say you were a captain? Ha, I've beaten stronger captains on a bad day. Bring it.

Alucard picked up Max "One of your friends made it... I'll give that one the hounor of dying at my hand...."

Sensing extreme soul energy nearby, Mayra decided to use the good luck charm her brother had given her; as she held it, she thought, Please...transport me to a safe place.

She was then gone again.

Just after Mayra had left, Emiko was about a few inches from the wolf, when she suddenly stopped and ran into a wall. She stood up immediatly and rubbed her head. She looked around franticly. "What the hell? How the hell I'd get here?"

She was standing in what looked to be a garden. She looked around and could see that what looked the building they had been at before they all got seperated was in her presence. "What the-How'd I get back here?"

Lokik then picked up his sword saying to himself "Arian i know your spirit is still out there and i promise to help you but i had to destroy your body then as know the Hollow was killing innocent's... I am sorry" he said rising up his sword crying getting ready to defeat the Hollow in Arians body "Please forgive me Arian" he said as went in with his sword casting Diamond Berg on the Arian that had now shapeshifted to Aika from Skies of Arcadia and flung her Wing of Grendel at him as he batted it away carelessly and casted Diamond Berg crying as he started to hack away (After they get only one form they cannot be infected so dont worry about Lokik)

[max payne]

Alucard walked onto the balcony he snorted "Smart one eh?" Max was blacking out, "you... bastard.." Alucard gripped him harder "fool..." Alucard was silent

Vyse had frozen her over and was grinning a bit while still crying "Doesn't even know how to use a shapeshifters body properly" he said as he struck the final blow and then cryed in a corner for a couple of minutes after having to strike her down again

[Lord Timaeus]

Maru smirked and gave out a sinister laugh.

Very well. Reload, Hanehiya!

The arrows he shot eariler disappeared into energy and came back into his crossbow. He then fired another barrage at Timaeus. Some arrows hit him in a few places, as he gasped in pain. He kept dodging until the arrows stopped firing.

Now's my chance.

He then threw his dagger straight at Maru, which hit him in the left shoulder. As Maru gave a short scream, Timaeus threw another dagger through Maru's other shoulder. He then leaped straight at Maru, his zanpakuto at a piercing position, and descended.

Maru, however, smirked, as he raised his arm, ignoring the pain.

Way of Destruction No. 15: GLACIAL RAY!

A shard of ice fired from the tip of Maru's finger and pierced Timaeus square in the chest. Timaeus screamed, then collapsed onto the ground.

How reckless. I've studied every shinigami trick in the book. Your move was too obvious for me to ignore. But don't worry, I'll be sure to finish you off quickly and painlessly, for I do have a sense of mercy. Reload, Hanehiya.

He pointed his zanpakuto at Timaeus, as the arrows reappeared in the crossbow.

Emiko could hear a faint sound of a struggle. Emiko threw her head up to see where it had been comming from. "HEY! IS SOMEONE THERE?! SHOW YOURSELF DAMMIT!"

Lokik was teleported back to where he had been before they had gotten sperated assuming that this is what was supposed to happen after you were done and continued crying trying to forget what he had had to do twice now

[max payne]

Alucard smiled "Another of your friends has survived..."

[FURUBA4EVER]

As soon as she had landed in a deserted corridor, Mayra put a spell on herself so her aura could not be tracked. It may keep me being found by the others...but at least I'll be safe from that psychopath.

Mayra then stopped as she heard a faint sound from the corridor. Is that...crying I hear? She then abruptly turned and could see a door ajar in the distance.

((Max, do you mind if Mayra perhaps meets Mona...?))

Emiko saw the figure at the top of a balcony. He looked familiar, although she couldnt tell who he was completly. "Come down here! If its you whose casueign all of this, I'm gonna have to stop you!"

(I must go now i shall be back tommorow video since your closest if you would like you can control Lokik until then since he is closest to you i thougt you'd like someone to talk with and to progress the story a bit as well)

Alucard smiled, "if you wish..." Alucard jumped down in from of emiko, with Max over his shoulder

Lokik wiped away the tears looking over at where he saw Emiko,Alcurad and MAx over his shoulder "An internal struggle..." he said to himself as he got up and ran over to try and help Max

Mayra stood there, not knowing what to do. The crying was getting louder and harder to listen to with each passing second...

What if it's an enemy trying to lure me in...? But...this energy, though strong, feels pure enough...

(Alright now i really must go so someone please contol Lokik keep him active with the plot and help him fight Alcurad if Max makes him swing at him first though)

[max payne]

Alucard smiled and threw fireballs at Lokik... "Internal? fool... I am my own being, I no longer need this childs body..." Max tried to escape and Alucard gripped hard something cracked and Max screamed

Emikow as surprised when Alucard jumped down and revieled him holdiong Max over his shoulder. Emiko crouched down into a fighting stance. She was tired, But she couldnt let Max die by this guy. If anything, she would very well give her life if it meant to save him. If it was to save anyone. She gave her trademark grin. "Well then, lets get started. Or do I have to kill you first?"

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus groaned in pain, as Maru shot an arrow straight at his heart. Before it could hit, however, a shield of white flames surrounded Timaeus, burning the arrow into ash.

Im... impossible!

Timaeus got up, the flames on his body healing his wounds, and grabbed onto Maru's zanpakuto arm while he was still in shock.

Now who's being sloppy?

Timaeus then pointed his free index finger at Maru's face.

Way of Destruction No. 4: WHITE LIGHTNING!

He then fired a bolt of lightning from his finger, sending Maru straight in his left eye, where his bondage wasn't there to protect him. The blast sent Maru flying into the wall, his eye completely fried.

You... you son of a *****...

Maru then started to disappear into shadow, glaring at Timaeus.

I can sense now's not the time to finish you off. We'll meet again soon, for you still haven't seen my full strength. Goodbye for now.

With that, he disappeared.

Mayra finally couldn't take it anymore. Those cries were just so heartbreaking to hear. She then ran towards the door and opened it slightly to see who was inside...

She then gasped and backed away from the door, still in shock.

Emiko frowned. "What the hell does proving myself to anyone matter to you? DOnt you just want to kill me? If anything, I'm trying to prove to myself I can do it, becasue I know that deep inside, I can kick your *** any day of the week! Now put Max down so we can fight for real..."

Timaeus looked at where Maru disappeared from.

Believe me, I'll be waiting...

Once his wounds have completely healed, he left the dungeon and went to find the others.

"We don't want to give you too much of a hadnicap, do we?" he leered and kept hold of Max who was screaming in pain "I sense, you feel weak, your comparing yourself to someone, I can see it in your eyes..."

Emiko got hit in a tender spot. "How the hell did he know about my mom?" Emiko was sick of talk. "That's it, stop trying to talk your way out of this! Just let Max go, And then come fight! Cmon, you want to kill me right? Let go of him and you'll be able to!"

"No, I feel like holding on to this one..." Then he rushed toward Emiko "I only need one hand to kill you" He punched Emiko in the face

Mayra's eyes had met a girl who could be no older than her...yet she had an infinite amount of soul energy. The girl had long, flowing golden hair and seemed to be chained to something.

Cautiously, Mayra walked into the room and muttered, "...Do you need some help?"

The girl turned her head around, completely in shock at the appearance of someone else, and said, in a frightened tone, "Who are you?!"

Mayra kneeled next to the girl and said, "...Max brought us here; he's come to save you, Mona."

Staring silently at Mayra and having a distrustful look, the girl then said, "...If you're truly here to help me, then you will get rid of these chains that are binding me."

Mayra then looked down at the chains, which were binding the girl's hands and legs. "I'll try..." Mayra muttered.

Emiko hit a few concrete statues and rolled over a bit. She got up on her knees, gripping at her face. She couldnt even see him move, and the pain in her face was unbearable. She was sure her nose was broken. If she hadnt have been more careful, she could have died in that punch. She stood back up, blood all over her face. She was getting more and more angry.

"There are two things that I dont want you to do," She said, walkign slowly forward toward Alucard. "One, I dont want you to kill anyone or even mention anything that I may be feeling again. Two, I dont want you to piss me off, because once Im set off, I'm sure as hell hard to turn off again." And she lunged at Alucard, getting a lucky hit in and knocking him in the Jaw.

Max's back was broken, he couldn't move, he was internally bleeding, yet he could sense Mona "Mona..."

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus closed his eyes, then turned to the nearest source of soul energy. Once he did, he ran to the balcony, where Alucard stood with Max and Emiko.

I don't know what a shinigami was doing serving Alucard, but I couldn't care less. This is not the time to be wondering, for now I have to save my friends.

Yo, Alucard, been awhile, hasn't it? Why don't you let the boy go and fight me instead?

Emiko threw up her hand. "This is my fight! I dont need anyone comming to save me, Fight him when I die!"

Alucard stumbled back and smiled "You are brave, but stupid..." Alucard amde hi hand sorround in flame and pucnhed her in the stomach, then grabbed it and threw her into a wall...

"Tim... Your request is invalid..."

Timaeus sighed, as he felt Emiko's soul energy.

Very well. Just keep this in mind, if you kill her, I won't be merciful.

He then left the balcony and walked toward Mayra's soul energy.

Mayra put her hand on top of Mona's chains and then thought, Please...she needs to be free...so she can go save Max. She was concentrating extremely hard and was sure she wasn't going to be able to destroy the chains when...

The chains suddenly blew apart, and the shackles fell off of Mona's wrists.

Mona then smiled and whispered silently as she was enveloped in light, "Thank you..." Wings then sprouted from her back, and then she was gone in an instant.

((All right...Mona's going to appear in the middle of the fight and try to stop her brother, Alucard. Just wanted to let everyone know where I was going with this...XD))

Emiko was buried in rubble. Her head was throbbing, and she felt as if she had broken her hand, not to mention a few other bones. She had to get up, her mom would not give up. She didnt give up when she fought that hollow.....and she even didnt give up when she was dying....niether would she. She strugled to get the rocks off of her. Little by little she succeded, until there was just enough space for her to stand up. She clenched her hands. "Is that still all you got?!"

He smiled, "You compare yourself constantly, it is your greatest weakness..." Alucard didn't notice Mona's freedom instead he dropped Max and grabbed Emiko with both hands and choked her

A light then flashed between Alucard and Emiko. The girl with the long flowing hair and white wings, Mona, had appeared. As soon as she appeared, her aura itself made Alucard take his grasp off of Emiko's neck. Mona then said, in a grave and serious tone, "That's enough, Alucard. I won't let you hurt Max or his friends."

"Mona..." said Max and Alucard at the sametime, he threw Emiko at Mona "Little sister, you cannot defeat me..."

Emiko struggled against Alucards hulky hands that were holding her neck. She kicked her legs franticly. She put all her energy into one attack. She strigged out a few words. "Did you forget my power?" She then forsed her energy into one electric charged attack, bringing forth an explosion of power. A bright flash filled the area.

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus closed his eyes again, although he couldn't sense Mayra's soul energy at all.

She must be hiding her aura to keep herself from getting attacked... so I won't be able to do anything any further. I guess I'll have to wait it out somewhere safe.

He then ran back toward the dungeon, his zanpakuto drawn.

Seeing that Emiko was flying towards her, Mona slowed her fall and then allowed her to be set down upon the ground where she was safe.

Mona then turned towards Alucard and said, "Try me, brother. I'm not the weak little girl you thought I was; I no longer need to rely on you or your demonic powers." Mona then sent a flash of light towards Alucard, and the light ended up burning his flesh.

"ARRGH!" Alucard screamed and stumbled back... Max however was blacking out still, he had bled alot and Max tried to move away... Alucard then stumbled blindly toward Max and grabbed him...

"No, you will not touch him!" Mona then sent another flash of light towards Alucard, burning his flesh even further.

Emiko could feel herself being what felt like set down a lot gentler than she expected. The blast had hurt her....a lot. She felt as if her head was about to explode. She could hear what sounded like a woman trying to reason with Alucard. Her first though was that it was Mayra, but this sprit was nothing like hers, she struggled to open her eyes to see who it was. "What the, who is that?"

Timaeus also felt Mona's soul energy from the dungeon, as its sheer presence was enough to make him feel uneasy.

That soul energy... surely it would be enough to kill Alucard...

Staring down at her cringing brother, Mona sighed and said, "You always were a fool, brother. Why can't you see that you don't need to shelter me anymore? I can choose my own way..."

Alucard had grabbed Max and got him in a sleeper hold "ANYONE MOVES, THE CHILD DIES!"

"Brother, stop this! Why must you kill Max?!" Mona yelled at her now deranged brother. "If you don't let go of him, I will have to do something I'll regret..."

Alucard laughed "I don't care about you! I hate you! I want you to be miserable, this child makes you happy? I kill him!"

Emiko was up on her knees now. Holding her stomach where she was bleeding. She couldn't talk hardly, her neck was bruised from Alucards choking, and she despertly tried to talk. "J-Just...leave...him alone...."

"...You're such a fool, brother." Mona whispered. She then flew towards Alucard and extended her hand. Upon contact with him, her brother was enveloped in light.

"Brother...may you be reincarnated as something more decent next time." she said as her brother disappeared.

Timaeus decided now was the time to leave, since he could no longer sense Alucard's soul energy. He left the dungeon, then went to the front gate, only to find it closed.

He fired a ball of lightning from the palm of his hand, which rolled onto the gate and slammed it down. Timaeus ran out the gate, then waited for the others to arrive.

Shedding light over him to heal his wounds, Mona sighed and said, "Max...why must you always get into such predicaments? You must know that I wouldn't want to see you get fatally wounded..."

Meru, legendary former 3rd division captain, you are failure ever I thought. Game-sama should be livid at you right now. You're pathetic shinigami."
Meru's hand with fill of rage. "DAMN YOU" I will kill you!..."
Meru draws his soul slayer. BANKAI!
Meru's soul slayer turned huge of energy, then reappeared as a huge and golden crossbow, clings it with his arm.

His arm and bow point at arrancar, gather large mass of enegry on bow and fire thousand of golden arrows at arrancur who didn't move. All of them very heavy hit directly.
"HA HA HA FOOL! Any mightly arrancars is no match against it!"

The large white smoke is clear, he was just stand there and no damage on him.
"Impossible! That attack should kill you easily!"
"Heh, That's because you are very weak!" He answered as he walk slowly toward at him.

"No.. NOOOOOO Away from me!" He fire another thousand golden arrows at him.
"Again? You don't understand indeed." He walk slowly as many arrows hit him and he feel nothing. "Oh well, you're no fun, Farewell!" He move very fast close to Meru then stab with his hand thought Meru's body, he screaming loudly, then collapse on the floor. He was died. He turn and walk to the big door where Game-sama wait. After having removed Mona's chains, Mayra had been in quite the predicament; her soul energy had been almost completely used up. She couldn't even manage to stand let alone try to find her way out of the castle...

Then, she remembered the teleportation device her brother had given her. Its powers were probably wearing out from being used a few times already, and she knew she only had one or two times left to teleport before it became an ordinary good luck charm.

I'll chance it, she thought as she held up the charm; she could already feel the clashes of soul energy from outside the castle and knew Mona had arrived to try and save Max.

...Transport me to my friends. I think they may need my help, Mayra thought. She was then enveloped within a flash of light and disappeared from the room where Mona had been chained.

Seconds later, Mayra arrived outside on the balcony where she had been earlier. She then saw that Alucard was gone...but both Emiko and Max were extremely wounded. Mona was trying to plea with Max so she could heal his wounds, but Mayra noticed that Max's life force was already dying...

...What's going to happen? she thought in worry.

Max moved away from Mona, "Leave..." Max got a gun from his pocket....

"How dare you do that to her! Don't you love her, Max...? Can't you see...that she won't be able to live without you...?"

"MAYRA GO AWAY!" yelled Max "Mona, you know that alucard is not dead, I need to stay here to seal him here, I need to die before he comes back so he will be sealed, if he revives me, I will kill him on his own turf, actually finally killing him..." Max pushed Mayra off him and said "GIVE ME MY GUN!"

"I just don't understand...How can someone willingly die like that...?" Mayra whispered.

She knew the answer already, however...yet it was still painful to see someone die while she stood helpless. There was no other way...yet she still felt guilty. She then raised her hand and wiped the tears away.

I shouldn't cry...Max died so he could seal Alucard away. It was a noble death...and he did it for Mona's sake. It's sad...but he knew he had to do it.

He went crawl slowly to reach the door that it's out of Hueco Muedo. He was near to door. Finally, he made to arrive the door.
"Good, I am not caught yet... Now, I am need to open that door."
"Hello, Meru" by serious voice.
He turn quickly and look at wise and young person wear big and black cloak.
" That soul enegry....You... are a shinigami??" His thought speak to him, "That person....I don't know him but he have very a lot of soul enegry. Who is he?"
THe young man nodded, "Yes I am a shinigami. I heard you lost by that shinigami, Am I correct?" He stand next to him, "But why, how you have big hole on your body?"
"What?? You mean Game-sama don't know about that? DAMN HIM!!!"
"I don't understand you talk about?? Never mind about him... Yes, Game-sama didn't get the report about you. Now, Don't move" His hand point on body.

His hand with green grow brightly on body and heal all of injurys including left eye.
"There. Now, Tell me what happened?"
Meru explained every happen to him.

"Heh, Let me expain. However that chance is about 50% So, you sure you want that?" He expain as he pull the strange black orb and land on his hand.
Meru don't understand clearly then nodded.
"Now, It will little hurt you a bit"
He push it on the body, Meru screaming loudly as his pain become worse for a while.
Fianlly, It ended. Meru fall down and pants himself.
"I am very surpised that you survive."
"What is hell you do?"
"Heh, Don't worry, that thing called "Curse of the Seal" which replace your old bankai. Now, you have a stronger and new bankai. Now, Go and never come back!"

How am I supposed to carry Emiko and Lokkik to the throne room if I can't even stand up...? I don't even have enough soul energy left to use a spell so they can float. All that soul energy I used today has gotten the better of me...

I hope Timaeus realizes he needs to get here soon...

"...Really?" Mayra then accepted the blue bottle and took out its cork. Inside, she saw a silvery liquid substance and was slightly bewildered; she then drank substance without thinking about what its effects would be.

Seconds later...she felt reenergized and could feel strength flooding back into her body.

"Thank you..." she muttered thankfully, for she was happy to regain her strength back.

Timaeus followed the others' soul energy, and went to the throne room to meet up with them.

So we couldn't save Max after all...

"One of your friends is already at the throne room..." said Mona

"Thought so. I guess we should go now." Mayra then used a spell to make Emiko and Lokkik float as if they were on invisible stretchers. She then headed towards the throne room as well.

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus looked up at Mona with curiosity, blinking.

So you're Mona... I'm terribly sorry about Max's death...

[max payne]

Mona walked toward the throne room, then stopped and looked back at Max, sliver mist was coming from his chest... she continued on...

((Let's just say that we're already in the throne room, all right? ^_^))

As she entered the throne room with Emiko and Lokkik floating to the side of her, Mayra noticed that plenty of soul energy was still emanating from the castle's many rooms.

Even without Alucard here, this place still feels dangerous...and slightly mysterious.

[Lord Timaeus]

((I'll be back shortly, I have to run a small errand.))

Timaeus looked at Max's body, keeping on guard.

[Gray]

"is everybody here?" whispered Mona

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus nodded to Mona.

((We're about to wrap this arc up, so just read back a few pages. I introduced a new character that will be crucial to a future story arc regarding Timaeus, so I suggest you start reading.))

The silver mist blocked the doorway "Now we won't be interrupted..." Mona teleported the group away...

"Good bye Max" he whispered as Mona teleported them away shedding tears for him "Good luck"

The group landed a few seconds later. At first, Mayra couldn't recognize where they were...

[max payne]

"We are here..." she muttered, they were back at school...

We may have fought but he was a good guy actually he thought to himself as he looked around still crying a bit

Sensing the familiar soul energy inside the school, Mayra sighed in relief.

"It's felt like ages since we've been back here...I didn't recongize the place at first."

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus sighed, as they were back at school. He then found his body and went back into it.

Alucard may be gone, but something still isn't right...

He then had flashbacks of his recent fight with Maru.

What was a shinigami doing there? Better yet, why didn't his soul energy exactly match that of a shinigami?

Ichigo saw the others returnong to school and wondered what had happened.

[max payne]

Mona slumped to the floor and sobbed "This.... is the real world...."

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus looked toward Mona, and couldn't help but look sad.

She's been though a lot... a goddess shouldn't have to suffer like this. It's not her fault any of this happened...

Lokik looked up at the school "It's been so long" he said

((I guess Lokkik isn't on his invisible stretcher anymore...?))

Deciding to leave Mona in the others' hands for now, Mayra headed towards the infirmary with Emiko's floating body following alongside her; Emiko had acquired serious wounds in her fight with Alucard and needed treatment right away.

I won't let another person die tonight...

As soon as she arrived in the infirmary, nurses came to take Emiko to one of the infirmary's beds to treat her. Although her wounds were severe, the nurses said she would recover in due time.

Sighing in relief, Mayra then walked out of the room and into the school's hallway. She then leaned her head against the wall and muttered, "I still can't believe all of that happened tonight..."

Nii-sama...I won't be weak anymore, she vowed to herself.

[ShonenGoku]

Al was walking out of the library and saw Mayra. He waved to her. "Mayra!"

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus looked toward Mayra, also with saddened eyes, then to the ground.

I didn't even get a chance to give him a soul burial...

[max payne]

"Max needs his soul, to seal Alucard, once the he seals him, he'll be back.... I hope..."

(LOL hasnt been for a while since his battle with his past the memory of having to kill his old girlfriend because she had been taken over by a Hallow and having to do it again) Lokik went out to the hallway to think about what had happened to die and thinking what he had seen before he had destroyed the fake Arian Hollow "I hope that wasnt what i thought" he said muttering chaning to Pierz for in case Emiko went into worse condition

Hearing a familiar voice call her, Mayra turned abruptly and then managed a grin despite her chaotic emotions on all that had happened tonight. She smiled towards the slightly bewildered Alphonse and said, "Hey, Al. What are you doing here so late at night?"

[Gray]

Ichigo looked at Al

I dont think this is really the time to be excited....

"Um...no, it's all right..." Mayra shook her hand in Ichigo's direction to quiet him. At that moment, she could use a cheerful person who could make her smile as well...and she didn't want to see Al's smile diminish once he heard the terrible news of Max's death.

"It is a time for mourning" he said "And remembering why Max decided he had to do what he did as well" he said looking up

((Sorry I havent been on. Im at work, so I couldnt post. It;s great I was just unconcious the while time.))

Emiko woke up with a start. She sat up quickly only to wince in pain. She looked down and could see bandages wrapped around her body. She rubbed her head, and could feel the bandages that were also wrapped around her hair. She looked around her and couldnt figure out where she was for a minute. It then dawned on her that she was back at the nurses office at her school. She rubbed her aching head. "God....I didnt even realize at first...Where the heck s everyone?"

Emiko motioned to stand up, but she wined once her feet hit the floor. She gave a small cry in pain. The nurse came over to her.
"Oh no, you must stay in bed! You've gotten some serious wounds! You might just have to stay the night. I'm sorry."

Emiko inwardly cursed. "Yeah...." was her only responce as she fell back unto the bed. "Damn....

[max payne]

"No.... Max wouldn't want people to mourn him..." said Mona

[ShonenGoku]

"Well...I was studying. I had checked out sdome books on advanced martial arts and alchemy. I want to help you guys!" He heard Ichigo's comment and sweatdropped.

Timaeus sighed, looking up at Mona.

I've only loved once before in my life. She was considered an enemy to my people, so it was fate that kept us apart. I don't even know if she's still alive, but if she died, I don't know what I'd do...

[max payne]

Mona heard Tim and sighed "You remind me of Max, when I first met him. He was like you..."

"Your right" Lokik said smiling "Max wouldn't want it" he said trying to a bit more cheerful "We should remember what he did but not mourn he did us a favor" he said looking around at them

"Don't worry about it, Al. I'm sure..." Mayra then paused. She felt like crying after all that had happened, yet she continued as if there had been nothing wrong. "I'm sure you'll hear about it soon. Just rest for tonight so you won't have to worry about it."

[Lord Timaeus]

Mona heard Tim and sighed "You remind me of Max, when I first met him. He was like you..."

Really... I've had a rough life, myself. My entire home was destroyed thousands of years ago by nothing but war and hatred. All I had by my side after that was my own brother, and even he was eventually killed in battle.

Lokik stared down at the floor trying but couldnt help it MAx had been a good guy he went away to a corner for a bit to so Al wouldnt see him cry

Al sensed there was something his friends were not telling him...

Emiko hated to cry. If it was one thing she thought crying did, she thought it made you look weak. But she couldn't help herself. Max had brought them all through so much, yet is seemed that she and everyone else could do little for hm. Emiko hated heself for not trusting him more. "If I had just been able to beat Alucard, none of this could probably happen...then what do I do to make it better, I freakin black out. And I couldnt even say goodbye or anything.

She wiped her eyes. And hated the fact that she wasnt allowed to leave. She still didnt know how anyone was doing. She hoped that nobody else had died tonight. Otherwise she didnt know what she would do. Emiko, alone in the nurses office, took a vow that from then on, she would be dammed if she'd let someone else close to her die. becasue if they did pass she was weak for not being able to save them. And she hated being weak.

Lokik got up going back to everyone sighing wiping away the last bit of tears putting on a smile to try and encourage Al

Seeing Al's suspicious look, Mayra sighed and thought, If we keep it from him, he'll just have to face the sadness later. He should hear it now...

Mayra then looked up at Al and said, in a solemn tone, "There's something you need to know, Al. Max...he...he died tonight."

Al's physical expression was unchangeable, but his eyes smiled back at Lokik.

Lokik looked up "He died for us" he said looking up at Al

:'( "Wha...b-but...how...?"

Lokik's eyes were full of fire and hate as he said the one word "Alcurad" he told Al

"...Do you remember when we faced Alucard...? Well...Max died because he needed to seal Alucard away forever...and that was the only way..."

Mayra then looked down, not being able to handle all the auras full of sadness around her.

...I wish Nii-sama were here..., Mayra thought to herself silently.

Al crumpled inside. He had dealt with death many times in his young life, had come close to it himself more than once, but it hit him hard every time.

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus sunk loer to the ground, leaning against a building wall.

I guess I'm all worn out... Hidoru, Critias, I swore to you both... that I won't cry for you anymore. I'm sorry... but I'll have to break my promise...

He couldn't help but have tears coming out of him, as he banged against the ground with his fist.

Lokik looked at the ground full of sorrow for Max

Al wished he could cry with them, as he had wished many times before.

[max payne]

"Please, don't mourn him, it's not what he wanted... He told me that when he revived me.." Mona tried not to cry

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus looked up toward Mona, still with saddened eyes.

I'm not mourning for Max. I know it's not what he wants. But I am mourning for the two people who I wouldn't have gotten far if it weren't for them. I'm mourning for my brother, and also for my one true love. I've spent thousands of years on this plane with no one but myself to turn to, and I'm surpeised I haven't cried myself to insanity.

Al thought of all the people he'd lost...his mother, Nina, Major Hughes...

"We must continue on" he said "There is nothing more we can do while we may want to morun him there will most likely be more threats maybe even something worse than Alcurad" he says shivering at the thought

[max payne]

"Probbably, but if alucard defeats Max, then maybe not..."

Lokik sighs "I am prety sure there will be worse there is something i should tell you that i saw when we were with Max" he says looking up at them

[max payne]

"You don't know Max's true strength..."

[Lord Timaeus]

Timaeus sighed, as he got up from the ground.

Please, Timaeus... stop crying... it's not what they would want...

"No I don't but i wasn't talking about him actually" he said looking at her "When i had my fight it was more of an emotional one" he explained to them and told them of what it was how Arian had been taken by the Hallows and how he had to kill her to keep the Hollow from causing destruction across the world in a body of a shapeshifter "And i couldve sworn" he told them "That i saw Arians spirit enter the hallows old body and a coccoon went around her" he said telling them "If what's happening is that means a hallow will have shapeshifting and be stronger than your normal Hallow" he said telling them

Leaning against the wall, Mayra had been quietly listening to the somber talk around her. She looked down at her feet and sighed.

...Loss...what a painful feeling it will always be.

Mayra then tightened her hands into fists...

I don't want to lose anyone else...Next time, I will be strong enough...strong enough to overcome my fear and doubt...strong enough to protect others...strong enough to strive on and continue living...
