Edit - Might as well say something about it.

I really couldn't get into this series one bit. Nothing really stood out as being good. The characters and plot are very forgettable. Can't think of too many good points maybe besides the music. It sounded similar to the music from the first two Suikoden games. I believe someone who helped work on them (not the composer) did the music for this series.

Finally got done watching Kaze no Yojimbo today and it was great! I love the original Kurosawa movie & the anime was similar but still VERY different of course. I prefer the movie over the anime TV series though. I think the only downside is the computer animation quality was very cheaply done(like Saiyuki) most of the time but still artist. But the story, characters and most of all drama & dialog were great. Its got good action but they used stills a lot of times. Good mystery thriller anime.

Why diddn't Miyuki say goodbye to George? That was kinda sad.

That's what I like to hear. I've been interested in this for a while now. I love a good action mystery thriller and am also a huge fan of still shots so this seems right up my alley.

The 2nd half of the show is much better, especialy when Rin joins the show. The first episode we see him in is my favorite episode. He is a nut but his dialog is so great that its like something Quentin Tarantino wrote.

If you can get past the animation then you should like it.

As for the music, I love the OP. The BGM isn't that great but it captures the thrilling moments well, BGM is mostly piano.

I also found myself looking at that show for a very long time and not knowing anything about it. The style of it looks very neat. Also if the dialog sounds like something Quentin Tarantino would do then im all in. ;)

Cosprayers or something, it would of been okay except the OAV got like ultra perverted in the latter half of the last episode and had some pervert scenes in the last half of the first ep too. (Non-nude, but still perverted). The movie sucked too.

Last thing I saw was Elfen Lied.

Story = A ; Never a dull moment; honest.

Acting = B- ; effective, but I'm really getting tired of high-pitched female VAs following every sentence with a "cute" little gasp in every conceivable situation.

Animation = C ; none of the character designs save for Lucy's struck me as being very unique or interesting, especially at the present time. (In my head, I kept referring to Mayu as Shinobu.) The CG vectors were the only outstanding element, and even their execution didn't seem all that inventive.

Kaze no Yojimbo was pretty good, Levon. I thought it fit well with the Kurosawa film. Though it does kind of go off onto it's own vectors and tell it's own story. But, yeah, if you can get past the animation -- the story is really good.
