And more. In my eyes, she is truly AMAZING. I have started to look into her non-anime music, and only stumbled across one song. Pavement I believe O.o. Anywho, anyone else a fan of her?

Not at all, you CAN'T love her too much =). Ya, I encountered that same problem. Pavement was the only song non-anime I found. I need to find more by her again. I saw the first half of her Alone PV too. I want to see tomorrow's though, That song is still my favorite T.T

Mikuni Shimokawa does the opening song for Kino's Journey, "All the Way". That is where I first learned of her. I love that song. I want to get a copy of Singles and Movies but it is pretty expensive to get it shipped to the states. I have heard a few songs by her and have to say that I have yet to hear a song I don't like. The only CD I have at this point is それが、愛でしょう/君に吹く風 Sorega Aideshou/Kimi ni Fuku Kaze, which is a single from FMP Fumoffu. Beyond the first 2 songs it has an additional sad ballad about a lost love called あれから Arekara and the instumentals of the FMP songs. Though it only has 3 songs and the 2 instumentals, it has quickly become a staple in my collection. Another great song is, "Tomorrow" from FMP.

She's great. Another song not mentioned above is "kanashimini ni makenaide" from the Grenadier soundtrack. I love her voice.

Shimokawa Mikuni is an awful singer. It's teh instrumentals that interest me. J-pop needs more harmonica.

I'd have to agree she isn't the greatest singer every. You can tell that when she sings live. But then again, that isn't all that uncommon in Japan. But her studio recordings are great. She has a soft, gentle voice that, when on key, sounds very nice. And I've been a fan of hers since the first time I saw Full Metal Panic.
