I think Discipline Chronicles of the Crusade is Lincensed but I have never heard of this company before, Mediafreakcity and Amorz. It's set to be released on January 12th 2006. I have the link to the trailer but I've read the FAQ and it says no links to pornographic materials but if the Mods says it's ok to post the link where the trailer is at I'll edit this topic and post the link

I just received an e-mail from avfantasy.com and they said they will try and ship it between 2/3 and 2/10 because they think it might come in before then. I e-mailed them first and asked about the release date.

I'm not the official moderator for this section of the forum, but my opinion is that links to legitimate, legal images and trailers that are shared for information purposes should be okay here.

I can't find Discipline on the Amorz/Kokeshi site, but that particular site seems to be a Japanese company distributing in America. It's quite possible that, like JapanX, Discipline will be distributed in America directly by its Japanese licensor instead of being sub-licensed to an American anime company.

Amorz is a Japan based adult company who distributes in North American region, so these are legiate. Also, Amorz brand is known to only distribute to their stores until the title gets old (I beleive it was 10months). If they keep the system, you won't see this item sold anywhere else but through their sites (they have various sites under or partnered with them). Again, if they keep their system as with their other series in adult, you will most likely not find this title at alot of places. hopefully, they change that idea for their anime line =-/

The Kokeshi site locks the DRM on all downloadable movies to a single CPU/MAC. Since they won't ever let you un-register the CPU/MAC, you're stuck watching whatever you download on the hardware you originally bought it on. For people who never upgrade their computers that's probably fine, but my computer gets upgraded or replaced far too often for their download system to be very useful.

This lazy and irresponsible use of DRM does not match up well with the spirit of US copyright protection laws and should be avoided in my view. If you buy all three chapters of any given movie you'll still pay roughly what the conventional full-length DVD would have cost and only save the modest shipping charge. That's really not enough of a discount when you factor in the unnecessarily restrictive DRM policy these jokers have put in place.

It's also rather pathetic that they advertise a "lifetime" license during the purchasing process, even though it really just means the useful lifetime of your current computer. I can still play the very first CD I purchased decades ago in just about any DVD player, car stereo, or boombox on the market, but I'll have forever lost the ability to play any downloaded movie from Kokeshi within a couple months after purchase. If it costs almost as much to download the ultra-restricted content as it does to purchase the unrestricted DVD's, why bother?

The Kokeshi site is for both DRM downloads and DVD sales. I suggest that you buy the DVD's instead of the downloads. Some day we might be able to download less restricted hentai content at a cost that reflects the reduction in quality and features compared to the DVD equivalents, but that day has yet to come. Even Animenation limits their hentai downloads to one month of use for $10 when you can often get the actual DVD for just a bit more (sometimes only the cost of shipping). Hopefully this is just a case of temporary ignorance on the part of the hentai distributors and will eventually give way to a system more in line with services like iTunes.* Until then, I can honestly see why so many people are tempted to simply download bootlegs instead.

Yeah but why would anyone want to import a censored hentai (especially since shipping would be expensive since it is shipping from Japan) and the fact you could just save yourself some time and money ordering it from the website they are selling the DVD at.

Good point. More or less, this is for the hardcore hentai fans whom can't wait for the release for the rest of the episodes. IMO, I don't care if the sex scenes are censored, as long as story element isn't altered, then that's fine with me. That's how I order most of my hentai anyway through CDJapan. Usually paying for region 2 hentai would net you around $50-$60 dollars, which isn't too expensive for me. I make it a habit to collect at least around 3 hentai region 2 DVD's per month, especially the ones I like. Again, it depends on how hardcore are you. Oh and it helps to understand some Japanese!! :lol:

Actually, now and days, it doesn't really matter as most people tend to download hentai anyways. I'm probably one of the rare few to actually buy a Region 2 hentai. But hey, I thought this was interesting knowledge.

P.S. Actually, All of White Bear's DVD's are region free which includes: Discode, Clevage, and Yakin Byukoto 2. Again you can either get it right away censored or wait at LEAST 6 months or more for your favorite hentai to get released....Again, what am I saying, you guys download it anyways!! :lol: ;)

Thanks for the clarification. I never followed through with any of the Nutech downloads so I didn't know exactly how it worked or who was in control.

However, I still think most sites are being far too restrictive with their DRM controls. Instead of making them safer, it just makes it that much easier for people to say "screw it" and simply download from a pirate source instead.

$10 for an unlimited replay license that can be transferred from one PC to another PC and/or to a portable video device and/or can be used to burn a coventional DVD would be a lot better deal and would generate far more interest from folks like me.

In the mean time, I just continue to rent most of the anime and hentai I watch in order to get the most bang for the buck. I spend maybe $1 per DVD that way and then only buy those DVD's I'm actually going to watch more than once (rare).

alright, finally the first of probably 3 volumes (crossing fingers for) is out


I watched all the eps in both languages and there 's only a few problems that people might find annoying or unacceptable to their taste. If anybody has checked ANIMEONDVD region 1 forum your know exactly what I mean.

here are the goods

all video is uncut and censoring does not exist throughout the show

video quality is around the same or close to the japanese dvds.

japanese and english tracks are on both eps

english voices are ok however japanese audio will always carry the true feelings and expressions of the characters.

their are some extras ( a trailer of the next volumes ( episodes 3 and 4) in english dub or japanese only audio)

slideshow and sketchbook

yes you get 2 eps for your moneys worth (but you shouldn't even complain about the starting price since paying at the most 30$ for 2 uncut eps with english subs, extras is way cheaper than paying 70$ a ep with no extras, no english subs, and the dreaded censoring.)

now to the worst or to some unforgivable

some of the english subtitles are grammerly wrong or just missing some spaces inbetween letters. For instance

this is exactly how the spacing will appear on any dvd player

the logo "AMORZ" is transparent and doesnt change color or font during watching but it will anger some ( al depends)


so there you go Please think wisely about buying the dvds because it seems the water mark and subs problems will be on all upcoming episodes!

I have read the reactions on the Animeondvd forum and I agree with them on a matter of principes : putting a watermark on the video is a degradation of the initial work. I will wait to see if the editor correct this in their future releases, and if there will be a correct re-release of Discipline vol. 1. But till then, no Amorz Discipline DVD for me.

actually that audio problem maybe just the audio is too low. In one of the scenes the characters start talking but volume suddenly drops. I think it's in the torture scene of ep 2. Morito is talking about tak and the sound goes low for only a few secs. I have a dolby 6.1 sound system on my pc and tv had to double the master volume. Just set the volume higher and that should fix it.


the sound is only stereo so maybe some would prefer it to be 5.1 ( 5.1 doesn't happen a lot for anime but it's standard for regular live action movies)

still it's a good dvd release

In a perfect world we wouldn't have a watermark but it's not too intrusive. I hope that it doesn't start a new trend in anime though. I give two thumbs up to any hentai that gets the mosaics removed. I will definately check it out when Discipline makes it's way up north.

I watched it and the uncensored version is awesome. The Amorz is logo is so small you can barely notice it and most of the time it just blends in with the background so I don't know why people are making a big fuss out of it. The English dub is pretty good but they should have done better on the English sub because there are a lot of gramatical errors. All I can say is I can't wait till volume two. I e-mailed Amorz and asked them why they put their watermark in this title, I should get a response in the next few days.

Indeed I did, I was so impressed by the fast shipping I continued to buy from there. While it is a little expensive, I notice that other online stores have the same title pratically the same price but of course, it would cost a little more with shipping.

The first and second volume are out (both have 2 episodes each DVD), you just have to look for it at certain online anime stores. The store jedisolo and I bought it from is mentioned in this thread. Just look more carefully.

Has anyone heard anything on the preorder date for vol. 3? The reason I ask is because its already going to be the end of April and a certain online store hasn't posted the preorder for the last dvd of Discipline.

I already e-mailed the online store and hopefully they will answer quickly. If anyone contacted them as well, post what they said to you as well. Thanks!

Recieved an e-mail from the online store I talked about, here is their response:

"Thank you for your e-mail to us.

We were planning to put it on our website last weekend, however,
because of
the spring sale, it will be on this weekend.

I diddent think that Discipline was licensed.Im going to check in,and see if i can buy that.I hear its nearly as good as Bible Black.

Yeah, I seen some video samples from the same online store that sells Discipline and from another store too...and Angel Blade Punish is indeed the next one (with Discipline) on my list.

Holy crap guys,

Discipline vol. 3 is up for preorder at the online store! Not to mention on the cover it says that the DVD comes with a another DVD inside! Kick ***!

The release date for the final volume is 5/31

I e-mailed the company that has the preorder for vol. 3 and asked if the title was delayed considering the release date has passed and here was my response:

We apologize for the delay in shipping.
DSP-03 is not released yet. At this moment, we do not have a new
release
date, however, we expect that it will be delayed for at least one week.

We will ship it out as soon as it becomes available.

However, I forgot to e-mail them about what the second disc contains considering that vol. 3 is a 2 DVD set. Can someone do it for me? Thanks!

The second disk has a Photo Gallery for Discipline series.
There are two versions of Gallery for PC and DVD player.

Your welcome Curse. Maybe the images are very high quality but I don't care I just want my copy of volume 3 with all the uncensored goodness. I wonder what trailers they are going include with volume 3. Maybe they bought the license for Hitoduma Kasumi-san and that will be one of the trailers.

It's not, the animation is not as good as Bible Black is and the "scenes" are quite short. Those scenes are also not very well done either there very bland. The story doesn't stay true to the PC Game like Bible Black did and I gotta say the PC game is so much much better than the hentai anime.

Oh and the writer/artist of Bible Black and Discipline (Sei Shoujyo) hated the hentai anime so much that he quit Active Soft the developers of Bible Black and Discipline PC Game because Active Soft allowed D3 to make so many changes to the hentai anime story.

So far D3's work on Cleavage has same quality of Discipline is also not that great.

Just my opinion oh and John has the same opinion as well. :P

I'm sure someone will but it's Discipline you should buy it instead of downloading it. That's just me, a hentai this good you should buy not download.

That's why I brought Bible Black instead of downloading it like everyone in another forum where telling me...

I preordered my copy months ago, but now after almost 2 weeks of the street date I don't see it anywhere.

I e-mailed Avfantasy.com and they said the Disc was ready but the DVD cover wasn't and it should ship on June 15th. Here's the e-mail reponse they sent me:

Finally. I got a e-mail today and it said they shiped mine.

I recieved my copy yesterday (the extra disc was "floating" but no scratches thankfully).

I viewed today and it was great volume overall. The "Amorz" watermark is the same as the one in vol.2 , very light and you have to look hard for it to see it. Overall, I guess we have to get use to it for future releases from them but I'm not going to make a big fuss over it considering it doesn't bother me much at all.

The Extras consisted of Pencel Sketches from the studio, the English and Japanese Trailers of Discipline vol.1 & 2. Unfortunetly, there were no other trailers for any other series that are licensed or dvds released in the near future by Amorz. :(

Edit: the Extra DVD consisted of a Photo gallery of the all of the three volumes and a pencil character sketches of all the characters throughout the series too.

I just received my copy today and I was surprised to receive my copy of Menage a Twins.

I make gifs and videos out of hentai material so the watermark I've found on the first disc made me decide not to get vol2 and 3 because of it. If they look better I might consider.

It's a logo on a produced product. Normally done to try to stop counterfeiting or un-authorized duplications
