I'm gonna say it's a toss up betwee Yamada Taro Mongatari, Cromartie High School, and High School Girls. Rarely do I laugh out loud when I read, but all three of those had me in stitches ^_^

Ranma 1/2 was good, but I'd have to say Azumanga Daioh.

I found Azumanga Daioh to be hilarious! ^_^ Yotsuba&! (by the same creator) is great for laughs too. :D (How could I forget to mention it? That's the only manga that's made me laugh more than a few times in one volume... :O)

Ranma 1/2 is a classic. But I have to say that the funnniest manga I ever read has to be a three way tie of Sakigate!! Cromartie High, Yotsubato (Yotsuba&!) and Yakitate!!Japan. It's hard to choose between the three for me....

The funniest? Girl Got Game...no doubt about it. That is THE funniest I have ever read. I read them last year under my desk during school and had MUCH difficulty trying not to laugh! I thought I was going to implode!
Ranma 1/2 is funny too (more randomness than anything else), Kodocha is funny at first but then gets depressing.
Therefore...Girl Got Game.

I would say the funniest current manga is Lolita Complex Phoenix. Let me give you a spoiler-free summary. It is about some masked stalker, who is a self-proclaimed hero for justice and feels it is his duty to protect girls from stalkers and weirdos.

All these posts and not one mention of Yakitate!! Japan, it's the only manga that got be consistently busting a gut each volume and I read 17 of them. Ranma 1/2 is a good choice too, but I got tired of it pretty quickly though (only collected up to the third season in the anime, volume 7 of the manga).

Almost forgot about Reborn! (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!), which is seriously the most insane depiction of the Italian mafia (although I heard it go serious business after Volume 7, I only read up to Volume 5 in scanlations).

Although, I can't gurantee that its the funniest, I laughed many times reading School Rumble. Its released by Del Rey and is up to volume 4, which is one of my favorite out of the ones I have read so far. If you like pointless high school comedy, check it out.
