Girls who are into h-games? Wow. I honestly never knew there were any. I mean, I know plenty of girls who could be persuaded to play an h-game just for "ghits and siggles", but I've yet to come across any who were already into h-games on their own. Very interesting. If I were Kintarou, it'd be time to bust out my trusty diary right about now. ;)

Anyway, among English h-games there doesn't seem to be much to choose from for girls who wish to play as girls. You have the X-Change series (three games translated so far) but you're still playing as a guy who just happens to become a girl. There are also some games that have a gay scene thrown in here and there, but I can't really think of anything I've come across that was strictly from the girl's point of view. If I see any I'll try to remember to post about them here.

It's really too bad that more girls aren't involved in h-games, both as players and as developers. The best themes we men can come up with usually sound like they came out of some sleazy skin magazine, while some of the best erotic stories I've ever read were supposedly written by women (though who really knows for sure when you're dealing with pen names).

I actually had to look up "lacunae," so congrats on stumping me right off the bat. I'm still fairly new here and I've yet to hang around the yaoi forum, so that's probably why I haven't bumped into too many h-game fangirls. In real life many girls will play an h-game for kicks, but I doubt most are really into it for any arousal factor. Most girls I know are convinced that they would be better served by an imaginative book than any sort of h-game product.

Once in a while there is a game that bridges the gender gap in the anime community; Love Drops is such an example. From what I gathered from the trial, the story involves a schoolgirl named Kanata Tanaka (yeah, I know), who stumbles upon a secret, magical room in her house. Within what seems like 15 seconds she accidentally summons three handsome princes from another dimension (or something), named Floria, Roy and Hugo. Naturally, these guys are affectionate and want nothing more than to follow Kanata around (and eat all the food in the house). Eventually, Kanata ends up being their princess, and lots of hilarity and love-making with all three guys ensues. Tagging along is a class full of attractive guys who also pursue her romantic interests. The h-scenes here are unusually high-quality for a change, rivalling the detail and explicitness of current eroge. Both Kanata and her suitors get equal bodily exposure, which is good whether you're a girl or a guy; she's also pretty and could pass as a character in a bishoujo game. Love Drops is like punching a male-dominated genre in the face with all its glory. :unsure:

it's not exactly an h-game, but it IS really great! anyone ever hear of "the scarecrow" by the owl? it's an interactive kisekae game, starring pearl, a beautiful blonde girl who has some interesting magical and sometimes kinda scary secrets. ^_^ probably the only one of its kind! and definitely the most interactive adult-rpg-like game i've ever come across. she moves and speaks (and makes some intriguing noises as well :P ), she responds to kisses and pokes, she has different things to dress up in and different toys to play with. and she's got lots of different adventures too! it might take a while to figure out what to do, but once you get pearl warmed up, it's worth it, trust me. ~_^ now, where do you find this pretty fairy? *points off in the distance* just follow the owl and look for the sign that says "The Scarecrow"...
