okay is inuyasha the series over ?? ive been reading on some inuyasha sites that they're ending it at episode 167 or something.. is this true ?

Yep, it definately ended after 167. If it makes you feel any better there is still supposed to be one more movie scheduled for release (the 5th movie). And although I have heard talk of the series being continued after the manga is complete, I wouldn't hold your breath on it...

I hear Stuff about the 5th Movie but whenever i try to download it it ends up being the last Episode (167) or the 4th movie if there is indeed a 5th movie i really want it!

Yes. Inuyasha ends at 167. If anyone knows anything about the 5th movie could they please post it here? I askedif there was other movies that might be released and as far as I know they all said no. The 4th one was the last. By the way, for your info, Cartoon Network is gonna finish running Inu to 167. After 167, they are gonna start rerunning from 13? to 167. Then, they are gonna show Inuyasha from the very begginning to the end!

There is no fifth InuYasha movie, nor have we heard anything about there being another movie in the making. I think Studio Sunrise has pretty much abandoned production of anything InuYasha for now and has turned their attention to other projects.

But hopefully someday they will take on the job of bringing us Inuyasha fans some more new Inuyasha episodes. The last episode was disappointing for me. I wish they wouldnt have made that open ending.

I think we need some sort of sticky thread explaining that ep 167 is the end of the series, the (ongoing) manga continues the story, and there's no word on any more animation (including a 5th movie).

I wholeheartedly agree. Only mods and admins can make a thread a sticky, right? If that's the case, then someone ought to either request that an already existing thread be made into a sticky, or make a new thread and request that that thread be turned into a sticky.
