Haku doesn't deserve that kind of hate...I didn't think he was dumb in any way for saving the life of someone he loved; he was a pure soul who was willing to risk his life for someone he loved. Haku was a sefless person who had given up all thoughts of himself after he saw the cruelty of the world around him and wanted to show a kind spirit to all those around him (even his enemies). I respect your opinion, but you shouldn't hate a character for good qualities they have...-__-

I think he's stupid for not thinking for himself.
Loyalty and self-sacrifice are very noble. But ... to love and sacrafice for someone through blind-faith is wrong.

Thats why I like Shikamaru. He thinks for himself, but at the same time he's loyal and will sacrafice himself for his comrades. But you can tell that he's also a pragmatist, and will not blindly devote himself to anyone.

Because pretty boys are not that uncommon in Japan (at least, I don't think they are), and Kishimoto-sensei decided to make Zabuza's right-hand man look like a teenaged girl. Maybe it was so he could get a kick of out Naruto mistaking Haku for a very pretty girl. :P

But I hate how he's always acting so stupid yet he's supposed to be one of the greatest ninja ever. He fools around a little too much for me to take him seriously. It was my understanding that used the way Naruto does, it more to reinforce or emphasise what he's saying kinda like 'you know what Im saying?" in NY or 'D*** Straight" in Brooklyn.

Eg If Naruto was in NY, he'd say "Im going kick that guys butt, you know what Im saying?" or Brooklyn-styles "D*** Straight, if that guy comes back again Im gonna kick his butt!"

Dattebayo is the Tokyo-version of a term which reinforces the main sentence. In the English dub of Naruto on Cartoon Network, theyve used "Believe it!" but I think every community has a phrase they use to mean tha same thing.

"Sasuke, next time we meet, I wont hold back. Believe it!"

is the same as

"Sasuke, next time we meet, I wont hold back. You know what Im saying?"

or

"Sasuke, next time we meet, D*** Straight I wont be holding back ... "

there are some craptacular characters you can pick on but I'm gonna pick up where kabuto left off (in a non homosexual way)

the guy is a beast and excluding what JUST happened in the manga

he had like 1 bad day in the entire series and that was with the 3rd hokage

most villains in anime come to that big climactic fight and then the hero through some sheer shred of sometimes unbelieveable writing kills said villain or beats all the evil out of him so that he's now a good guy (and normally vastly weaker)

but not our legendary snake ninja, when they say hes strong YES the guy is flippin strong when they say hes smart IT SHOWS he can do calculus he is a villain who IS a threat and he is treated as such I say hes on of the best villains I've seen in a long time
