I love any reversible cover without the title of the anime. I think my favorite is FMA #1. Reversed, of course. Abenobashi has some pretty cool reversibles.

Bandai uses the same cover art for Zeta Gundam & I'm sure they will use the same for Double Zeta(although they are a little diffrent on R1). Can't wait for the Double Zeta covers, here are my favorites from it:

Have you seen those few Moon Moon episodes? Now those SUCK.

I thought the first episodes were decent enough, however the show does change & improve a lot in its 2nd half, around episode 16 after those bad two Moon Moon episodes it starts to improve. The 2nd half makes it worth it.

If you look at mahq.net's reviews you will see he gave poor ratings for the first 15 or so episodes but then at episode 20 he gave great ratings for most of the rest of the show.

I know I know. I've heard. But I just can't do that. I can't watch a dozen episodes I hate before getting to the good stuff. Just don't have the patience. I know. I suck. Oh well. Maybe they'll make movie versions one day.

I wouldn't be surprised-_-; I'd like to see that though, it would work well with ZZ since a lot of it can be cut. Zeta on other hand I'm a little unsure about the movies since I thought about every episode was important & we will see a lot of editing...

The Gankutsuou cover is amazing and very fitting. Is it just me or does everything in that series look like it's made out of marble? The show has some of my favorite cg becuase it's just so damn odd. What a great anime.

Yeah i saw those covers kf1, they were made by a fan of the series and he has a site somewhere with really high quality pics for you to print off and replace ADVs ones.
Id definately use them but i dont nearly have a high enough quality printer to do the images justice.

As for best cover art again im zwith CrossboneGundam on the RahXephon R2s, simply brilliant. Couldnt find a shot of all of them but heres a selection:

These would be volume 2+3 of the R2 release, better than the 1st i think. But im not entirely sure if the R2s have reversable covers or something because they're are 2 sample images when you go to buy the dvds

My favorite so far would be the new Fushigi Yuugi covers Geneon is making for the re-release of this series. Of course I can't get these because I had gotten the 2 FY boxsets when they were both new around 2000. They all look so great, at least I could see all of them in the booklets included with the boxsets.

It's Speed Grapher. Funimation has the rights to it, so it should be available domestically early next year. I hope Funi uses the R2 artwork.

OMG are they ever- I love anything CLAMP does just because they detail their work so wonderfully. It gives a mature look that few artists are able to achieve. Most people whi try to detail as much as CLAMP make a picture that feels WAY too crowded!!!!

I love the Krad cover of the DN Angel DVDs the most out of all the volumes. The reversable cover with the Second Hand of Time was neat looking too.

I'm not sure, but I think that cover is from the R2 release of the series.

The Chrno Crusade R2 boxes have great wraparound art, the covers for the R2s are a bit simple though to be honest but it is effective.

Thos one is my favorite. I was so scared that Magma/Bandai was gona use the one with the Major sitting on bookstacks over this one. When I saw that they didn't, it was one of the happiest dvd cover days of my life!

I love the Ceres dvd coverarts. I also like the Someday's Dreamers coverart and Rurouni Kenshin.

The Cardcaptor Sakura cover art on all the 20 volumes released on DVD, beautiful. Remarkably, every cover was a shot of Sakura in a different outfit and pose, and they all managed to be interesting and great. I liked the Chobits covers too. Beautiful screenshots of Chii in different poses and outfits.

I also was a huge fan of the Rurouni Kenshin DVD covers; 22 volumes in all not considering the OVA shots done by ADV. Media Blasters did a great job when they released the TV series. The ADV covers were ok.

I liked the Ayashi no Ceres (Ceres: Celestial Legend) covers too. Great screenshots of the characters based on the original manga in color. Yuu Watase is such a great artist.

As much as I enjoyed Fushigi Yuugi, the DVD boxsets didn't interest me. A colored box with a foil of a bird or a dragon respectively. The outside might not be as pleasing (considering the price of the boxsets), but real beauty of it is inside. The moment you open that boxset, your treated to wonderful anime art of the series!!
