Finally!!!!!! The new series of Bible Black episode 4 will be release on October 25, 2005!!! Mark your calendars fellas!!! This bit of news made my day, I almost want to cry!!! ^_^

Not be confused with Bible Black: New Testament Vol. 1 which comes out on November 15, 2005. ****.....Two more months. Anyways, head on over to the milky anime site and check out the info. The Art animation looks gorgeous!!!

One more interesting tidbit: Looks like this one is going to be 6 episodes. Went over to their site to check out the episode count and it stated 6.....so it maybe over in April of next year, the month that the Bible Black ritual took place? Okay, I actually have to confirm that. Let me shut up now!!! :)

Since the new bible black is coming out in Japan, how are you guys predictions coming out? As I have finally seen ep 1 subbed I kinda have some changes in thinking what happened between the original series and the sequal

Let share shall we?

First up.. I think Minase is dead. We have not heard or seen him at all. Something bad must have happened when trying to seal Imari's memories
for her to have painful memories as Takashiro has said, she either was aware of what Kitami (that's another thing I'm still think is somebody else..but moving on...) did after the failed transfer.
I think Minase and Takashiro tried to seal Kitami but succeeded at a price...I hope that I am wrong but that's the way its looking to me.

Second, I think the seal around Imari's memories were easing up before the bank robbery. I betcha that when she stopped at that place at the beginning of ep 1, or if the show decides to go back and show what happened, is where Minase and Imari either spent sometime there or was the place of the sealing.

Third about the young police officer who looks like Minase. I think that was the person Kitami had a crush on when she moved from at the beginning of her story in Origins. And also why she singled out Minase. She like us saw a resemblence in Minase with her old crush.

I still think that its not Kitami and that its the raven headed chick who was in origins that's doing all of this or was the devil within Kitami. But we shall see

well as ACE had mentioned, it may be another 6eps run so maybe some mysteries will be explained during the next 2-3eps.

as for me, i'm a little frustrated w/ the BB sequel. even though there is a sub version out there my interest in the series is down cuz of the extremely long release dates and fanservice specials (which were good but pointless IMO). I'll wait for the uncen R1 release to find out whats going on

I believe that "Imari/Kitami" wanted to distance herself from Minase for the fact that she knew that she was about to do something evil and didn't want to get Minase involved. If "Imari/Kitami" wanted to kill Minase, she could've done so at any point in which they were having sex. My theory is that I think that "Imari/Kitami" both "love" Minase enough to a point where they are leaving him alone for the time being or they aren't able to locate his exact whereabouts since the last time they met.

I find myself watching this over and over again to see if I'm missing anything. All it does though is leave me somewhat confused.. ^_^ I want to say that Kitami's spirit is alive and well inside Imari's body, it's just that her spirit may not be as evil as we have deemed it to be. Okay, I am going to have to think about this some more here as I don't want to risk babbiling too much.

True in episode three in the sequel when Imari is "Kitami" when she's speaking to what's her name the ex red hair teacher she's annoyed/angered that she slept with Minase.

I sorta thought it may be due to both Imari and Kitami's mixing together like Kitami had gained Imari's feelings for Minase or it could be that Kitami during the time she had control over Imari started to have feelings for Minase? Looks like that's a younger Kitami but when she was still teacher and that guy is probably the police man that was in Episode 1. At the end of the original series I think it was Imari says that she saw Kitami's past and that Kitami like some boy in her old school but wasn't able to tell him. Err I guess maybe it's him than again Kitami is getting b.ang by him so um err yeah. -_-;

I JUST received episode 3 of Angel Blade Punish! from CD Japan, which took roughly around 2 weeks to get to the UK, so it'll be around the beginning of November before I get a chance to watch episode 4. So you definately won't see me around here untill I watch it. Don't want to accidently spoil myself. Now I'm going to watch the trailer again to see if I've missed anything.

I watched the trailer again.....You know what? I'm starting to think that the detective is Minase?! How you ask....if you watch at the very end you'll see that Kitami is acting very lovely towards him or now that I think about it, it could be the fact that he looks like Minase which ends up triggering her feelings for Minase and not necessarily the dectective as we see Kitami laying all drenched in cum after he's finshed with her. What I find most interesting out of this trailer is the fact that we do see Kitami again, but is she using Imari's body? Or is her "actual" body still alive. Could it be that Jordi somehow "resurrected" Kitami's body thus making her a new person? Or is it that Kitami/Imari are able to interchange looks when emotions come into play? Seems like with each new episode more questions are coming and none are being really answered. I tell you guys, I'm definately enjoying the ride here as you really don't know where it's going or is going to end up.

Another thing I find interesting it seems like the "purple haired girl" (I know her name, but too lazy to remember) is going down the same path somewhat as Imari did in the first series. If it continues like this, then we could definately see a vicious cycle here or an unhappy ending. In any case, I will be there untill the end. :naughty:

Just wanted to add a little bit more, if Jordi did resurrect Kitami's body, that makes Imari truly evil and Kitmai the possible heroine this time around. Of course it's mere speculation at this point. But we do see Kitami's body alive and in the flesh.....That's the most interesting part to me. Exactly what happened to Kitami's body at the end of the first season. It was safe to assume that she was dead, but there was nothing said further than that. Was her body burned? Was it buried? Was it laying in the morge. Again this is all speculation from me as I'm trying to piece things together. Damn, it won't be till late November till I see episode 4. =( Neverthless, I know this will be worth the wait. :)

I have seen revival, reunion and rule and I look forward to seeing recollection. I watched the trailer and I have high hopes, the art and animation looks good but I am not sure it rivals that of revival. It seems Shiraki is once again on the receiving end instead of dishing it out (except for the scene where she stabs Minase). From my observation, I could definitely say that the character you know as the ‘detective’ and the same man you see getting it on with Kitami is not Minase. Minase has blue eyes and black hair, this policemen has blue eyes and brown hair and looks like he should be in high school rather than a detective.

The animation was awesome, the sex scenes were non-stop. I can't wait until the region 1 version is released. It's pretty sweet.

I was hoping, since the title implied a memory, it would show what has happened to Minase, but no such luck. It does give more background to Detective Yamanishi though.

It still doesn't feel like the plot is advancing very far, they are four episodes into La Lanza and so much remains unexplained. But I really liked the episode.

Hotsuma , Recollection is the title of the 4th episode in "lanza de longinus". The New testament is the English title for Lanza de longinus which kitty media is publishing.

but this episode was seriously not stop sex! =D i think the biggest gap was like 2 mins! The animation was good..but it's of the same quality in Revival. I think they were builing up for episodes 5+6 which should be awesome!! Poor shiraki..i bet she gets more abuse in 5+6 ^_^_^_^

i thought so too. i still have no clue whats going on: which one is Kitami, which one is Imari, where's Minase, ect? this eps was purely just sex, which is just fine w/ me ;) i think shiraki and takeshiro are the most abused characters in this series. they never get a break :P

Damn, I told myself I wouldn't click on this thread untill I've seen it for myself!!! I would download it, but it takes the fun out of actually waiting for the DVD...So still no Minase.....well, with only two more episodes to go, somethings got to give. I wonder if Yamanishi knew Minase personally, which is unlikely. Also, how well did he know Kitami back then or did Imari actually change her apperance to Kitami? I guess not since you guys said that Imari wasn't in the episode. At this point, I'm not worried about the animation. It's going to be gorgeous as always, just the fact that how it's going to wrap up.

As for Shiraki and Takeshiro. I somewhat don't feel sorry for either one because of the fact that Shiraki is kind of "naive" in sense that she easily falls in the predators hands. On the other hand, Takeshiro was the one whom started this whole vicious cycle and had a chance to end it, but messed up baddly and is suffering for it. I swear to Minase is going to come in and start messing everyone up. This time around, I want to see a happy ending for everyone.

Arrgh!!! It's going to be at least a month for me before I even get a chance to watch this since I'm importing it from CDJapan. I wouldn't have it any other way though since I'm a Region 2 hentai collector. :)

I just went over to Milky anime's site and found something very interesting in the press release for December. It look like there will be a Bible Black Best Collection!?! Wow, the insanity. Just how much more Bible Black will be cranked out! Now that I think about it, I already have the Bible Black Perfect Collection for the first season, so this could be a totally different one. Probably would be like the best sex scenes in Bible Black, which would be interesting. I don't know about you guys, but I like every damn sex scene in Bible Black!!. Anyways, It looks like it will be A LONG while before the Bible Black franchise is over and done with. They still would probably do the DVD games for the second season with new footage like they did for the first season. Woo!!!! It maybe the same time next year before Bible Black is done. :lol:

Sigh, When will I learn? I went on ahead and took another visit to Masokick's site and saw the Recollection pictures. The one's involving Kitami of course were interesting. Now it seems like Kitami and Yamanishi were obviously lovers at one point. Now the question is, were they lovers before the first episode of Bible Black or during? From the looks of it, it may seem that Yamanishi may be the wild-card now that we know he had a past with Kitami. He maybe the "one" to stop her.

I went back to Milky-Anime and I found out it was the Best of Midnight Sleasy Train 2.....But it looks like there may be a Box Set for Season 2 of Bible Black which would cost around 20,000 yen!?! That's the impression I got from the press relase.....sigh, I guess we will have to wait for the trailer coming up in November to make sure.

After watching Recollection, the scene where Jordi and the purple-haired girl are at the roof left me a bit puzzled. Jordi's role in this series is a bit unclear. Is she supposed to be another younger Kitami? What about the purple-haired girl herself ? Someone help me connect the dots here ..... :)

I really hope the storyline will clear up more in the upcoming episodes.

I think that more than likely it will be 6 episodes for the fact that some of Milky Anime's best titles usually go up to 5 or 6. Like Izumo and Enbo for example. Don't get me wrong, I would love more Bible Black, it's just that I don't want to see the plot get all torn up just to satisfy us fans. Like I mentioned earlier, I would like to see a happy ending to this or at least true closure, the Bible Black characters have been through enough already!!!! :lol:


As for Jordi....I'm wondering if she's trying to recreate what Kitami was trying do with Imari? If you think about, they have the same looks and everything. Is Jordi trying to gain a physical host from Yuki? I'm not quite sure as I'm pretty sure that she's planning something big behind the scenes. What I'm wondering though is where Jordi orginated from? Since we know it isn't Kitami, how did Jordi come about to learn about the ritual or everything else? I'm sure that'll probably get explained in the end though.

Now that I think about it, he was in the same situation as Minase almost as Minase was unware that Kitami succeeded in taking over Imari's body. Yamanishi may have been unware that that Kitami was really a "evil" person. But he knows her true side and he may be able to save Kitami and Imari as well. He'll finally set Kitami's soul free and Imari would return to normal.

All of this is assumption of course as I haven't even seen Recollections yet. :)

Went BACK to Milky-Anime's site and checked the episode count.....from the looks of it, it seems it may be 6 episodes but there is only 5 boxes there? Also, there is the "Book" (Bible Black Box-Set Season 2) which will be released Christmas Day......I'm going to be honest say that I hope they don't do a Gaiden and just continue straightforward with the story. I somewhat didn't like that milky did Bible Black Only Vol.1 and strayed away from the main story, but it wasn't too bad. I have the strange feeling that this series may end up being longer that expected.

I can answer this right now. The reason she became evil so quickly is that she knew her contract (the life she was given by the devil) is coming to an end. Takashiro mentioned this in the original BB episode 4 ;)

That true, but she just did a complete 180. Almost like the "Devil in Miss Jones" type deal. I guess before the first episode of Bible Black, she was just trying to live her life as a "normal" woman which explains the the total change of behavior. Which makes me think, did Kitami and Takeshiro get along before the first episode of Bible Black. What I mean by that is were they "friends"......never mind that, they really weren't friends to begin with. :) Again, thanks for the answer though. :)

Had to do another post here, I checked the release dates of Bible Black Season 2 and gave a rough estimate of when the next episode will come:


Shin Bible Black Vol.1- April 25, 2004

Shin Bible Black Vol.2- October 25, 2004

Shin Bible Black Vol.3- March 25, 2005

Shin Bible Black Vol.4- October 25, 2005

Now notice there's at least a 6-7 month time frame for each episode, so if it were to go to six it would be like this:

Shin Bible Black Vol.6- October 25, 2006

So we're looking at 1-2 years more worth of Bible Black. Wow. I haven't mentioned the possibility of Gaiden episodes or Bible Black Only Episode 2 or the Best of Bible Black Season 2, so it easily be exteneded to 3 years.

Only time will tell what the creators of Bible Black have in store for us fans. :)

I just went back and watched Revival again. Jordi and the cult are truly on opposite sides. But why? Is it because both sides would like to get the burnt Bible first? Ultimately that's what they're after anyways, since that's whole reason for finding the Lance of Longinus...right?

But that still doesn't help with Jordi's origins.

Having said that, I really hope there will be another Gaiden series, partly for the reasons mentioned in previous posts. Having that and some special episodes would be cool! :)

The reason I thought about this is because in Revival, Saeki said "For the purpose of obtaining the burnt Black Bible, we have to find the Longinus Spear".

Doesn't it also make sense that Saeki goes after the burnt Bible again, since she was after it in Revelations 6 too? After all, the Bible resembles the biggest source of power ;)

No problem lwindsor! :) If there is no gaiden or spin-offs of that nature, I would assume that episode 5 would be in April 25, 2006, which is a six month time frame for most of the Bible Black episodes. I would be surprised if they released it earlier, but I'm not counting on it.

As for the Imari/Kitami and Saeki paring.....something smells really fish about that. I'm wondering if Imari/Kitami is planing to double cross her. Or more less Saeki is Imari/Kitami's little disposable pawn in the game.

From what I saw in episode 6 of the first season, at the end I thought the book was burned completly as that was the whole point that Imari/Kitami destroyed the book, to make sure that no one else was able to use it at all because the book had the power to destroy Imari/Kitami.

Even if Saeki is somehow able to get a hand and return the burnt book back to its original state, Imari/Kitami is too powerful for her. So it's more or less whom is using whom and for what purpose. Imari/Kitam and Jordi haven't met yet either so that brings a whole new element to this once this happens. Will they be enemies or "friends." There's definately something huge going on behind the scenes and Imari/Kitami is the only one whom knows it. I would say that she's the Puppeteer pulling all the puppets strings. Making people move how she wants them.

I'm going to have to watch episode 6 again to make sure the book was burned to ashes. Well, so much and so little time left for this series. Two episodes to wrap up all the loose ends and to finish this once and for all. :)

I have a theory on one of the big questions in La Lanza de Lonigus.

We know Saeki wants to lance to recreate the burnt bible, but Kitami has no use for it. This is proven in La Noche de Walpurgis, Minase offers the book to Kitami, but she says he can keep it, she doesn't need it anymore.

I’ve been wondering what possible reason that Kitami/Imari would help Saeki find the lance.

Remember in the very first episode of La Noche de Walpurgis, when Minase deflowers Shiraki, it shows the picture of the magic charm with an "s" written in blood. Later at the end of the episode at Saeki's house, she tells him to come all over her, and Minase is stunned, he looks at the book, and has a vision of the bloody charm again.

A subtle connection is made, the "s" he wrote might have affected both Shiraki and Saeki, due to their names. Did Saeki feel just as strongly for him? In Revival, when Saeki is escorting the chancellor to the basement, she has a flashback to the day she spied on Minase, when Shiraki lost her virginity. She looks angry. Could she be jealous?

Saeki wants the Lance of Longinus, because she can re-create the burnt bible with it. Now Saeki always wanted to steal his book, but what if she was under the effect of the lust spell?

What if Saeki wants the book, to resurrect Minase?

In Season 2, there is no hard proof that he is dead, however, there is no proof he is alive either.

Perhaps the book has a resurrection spell? After all, when Minase told Shiraki she didn’t really love him and it was only a spell, she tried to kill herself. What if Saeki is under the same enchantment, and she’s been under it for years? It would drive her mad.


And why does Kitami/Imari decided to help Saeki? In Rule, she says to Takashiro, "...it was with this a** (her behind) that you stole MY Minase-kun."

Is she saying that Takashiro used her body to steal Minase?
Or is she saying Imari's body captured Minase's heart?

And why is Saeki so intent on punishing Shiraki in season 2? Because she is a jealous woman who was rejected?
So, does it sound possible?

Masokick now that you mention it, it did look weird that Saiki had a pissed of look when she remember stuff that involve Shiraki and Minase. And I've forgotten that Minase did use that spell on Saiki the same spell that made Shiraki too crazy in love with him. Now the question is the spell still working? If it is then Saiki is in "love" with Minase. The other thing is Minase still alive? I think he is I don't see Imari/Kitami killing him and then saying "Oops should haven't done that" which then they need the Bible Black book to bring him back to live.

If that isn't the case why does Kitami want the book she already got what she wanted a new body because she didn't want to die plus she destroyed the book because she had no use for it. And because she destroyed the book it shows that she wasn't interested in gaining power. Well unless the producers in the sequel series decided to change that and has now made Kitami wanting to get power and she needs the black book.

Damn too many questions and so far none have been answered. Guess gotta wait for ep 5/6 to get things answered.

I believe what it all boils down to is the fact that Kitami/Imari and Saeki are obviously using each other for reasons we don't know. I'm pretty sure that Saeki doesn't like Kitami/Imari too much for the fact that she has been humiliated by her on several occasions. Also Kitami/Imari probably sees Saeki as an vauable asset to achieve her hidden plan. So we know that that they don't like each too much...Think of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance and you'll see what I'm getting at.

I don't think Saeki is jealous of Shiraki....at least I think. Unless the fact that Shiraki ended up having sex with Minase would trigger her jealousy which I find highly unlikely. More or less, I'm thinking that Shiraki has a much more higher purpose then we know right now, unfortunately.

I share some more of my thoughts tomorrow. :)

I just received my copy of Bible Black:Recollection from CDJapan and watched it about a couple of hours ago. I have A LOT to say, but I won't be able to say it today. Instead I'll just post a few thoughts about what I've seen.

Was it just me, or did this episode fly by REAL quick?! I mean before I knew it, it was over! That's the only real complaint I got, if any. One thing for sure is that the plot is moving very quickly. I'm starting to believe that Yamanashi may be the "savior" this time around, but I'm still hoping for Minase as well. The consensual sex scene between Yamanashi and Kitami was definately touching as we see Kitami in one of her most vunerable moments in the Bible Black series. For a minute there, I almost forgot I was watching Bible Black.

I'll state one more theory for now. I've noticed that there seems to be alot of evil going around maybe too much. Here's my examination:

Kitami/Imari- Aki

Jordi-Yuki

Saeki-Shiraki


The terrible "powers that be." Each of them vying for that "power" so to speak. Only question is, whom is more powerful. My money would be with Kitami/Imari as she may have possibly taught Saeki some spells, so I'm sure that she could Break Saeki as well.

To wrap things up here, it's no secret that these three definately don't like one another so expect a HUGE clash in the final episode.

Tomorrow, I'll post more, about Takeshiro's role and how Yamanashi may be able to save Kitami and Imari's soul from enternal damnation.

Nope, it wasn't just you! The episodes was non-stop. Didn't advance the plot as much as I hoped, but it was pretty hot all the same.

I agree, I think Yamanishi is in Minase's savior role this time, and he will try to save Ichikawa. I can't wait til it gets subbed.

But if there is a Gaiden, I wonder if it would be more about Jodie and Ariesta Crawley? Maybe they are responsible for Minase not being around anymore? Then they could tie all the plots together.

There is obviously a backstory there, because when Takashiro saw her on the bridge, she recognized Jodie immediately.

No. Jody was trying to kill Ichikawa (she called down lightning to kill her). It was Takashiro who cast the barrier. If you watch closely, the lightning never strikes Ichikawa, it bounces off the barrier. And Imari says something like, "Damn, a barrier!" because she is unable to retrieve the lance tip from Ichikawa.

Jody was very much trying to hurt Ichikawa, but Takashiro saved her.

I like all of the assumptions everyone made. I agree with most of those even though I don't think they will all be 100% correct. Good info I cant wait for the creators to finish up the story to bible black. I've been expecting them to take a while since Bible Black seems to be getting a name as the best Hentai or at least one of the best. They probably wanted to take their time with it. I'm kinda glad they did.

I seriously cant wait. At least I have plenty of time to spend with other Hentai.

I also have a question. Why was Taboo Charming Mother released out in the middle of Recollection and this next new Bible Black? I'm really deprived of info but is there multiple first party companies Milky has? I dont see why they just would ignore Taboo Charming Mother and work on Bible Black.

The "creators" are already done with Bible Black which was done by Active-Soft that made the PC Game that was later on adapted into h-anime by Milky-way. The h-anime followed the PC Game closely only the ending had few differences.

This sequel series isn't based on the PC Game like the original was the story since there's no sequel to that game. Just an original story made by Milky-way.

Hopefully the writers don't screw up with the story, so far they've been doing an okay job still a whole bunch of questions left unanswered in the sequel. I'm sure they'll do a Gaiden to answer some of those questions.

Well, it depends on how episode 5 turns out to see whether or not a Gaiden episode would be needed. I don't think that the creators would do one this late in the series or otherwise they would've shifted focus towards making the Gaiden episodes first, then continuing on with episode 5. Again though, it all depends on how episode 5 plays out. Hopefully, we'll actually get to see Minase or what the hell is up with him?
