Boogiepop Phantom Live Action

Has anyone ever watched this movie and what are you thoughts of it?

I’ve seen some of the series on Tech TV but didn’t care for it too much, but I’m finding out that people who really loved this series like pretty much the same anime as me and I really like mind bogglers (i.e. Lain). So basically I wanna see if the movies is good so it could get my interest to raise a little so I could buy this series.

The novels and animated series are excellent. Not read the comics though.

The live action movie, Boogiepop And Others, has a few nice bits, but kind of sucks overall. It's an adaptation of the first novel in the series, so read that instead.

The animated series, Boogiepop Phantom, is a sequel to the story told in the Boogiepop And Others novel.
