Steel Angel Kurumi 2. It's the only 'real' shoujo-ai I have seen, though. I am very much hoping Maria-sama gets liscensed so I can see it!

I am almost done with Battle Atheletes Vistory. I am on like episode 21.
Kris seems pretty cute, but cna get annoying sometimes. The day of rest things annoy me. I kinda want to see her in a 'boy uniform' you know a tie and stuff.
I miss Ichino though, i like her rough exterior. (But Kris si still cute, i like when she gets jealous)

Sailor Moon... and My HiME?
I haven't seen very many series that I consider to have shoujo-ai in them... I guess I'll have to go do something about that :P
I've seen Utena and its movie, I enjoyed it enough to watch the whole series (most seris I never finish)... but it still wasn't something I considered great, and I've only seen a few episodes of Maria-sama ga Miteru, Pretty Cure, Kannazuki no Miko and Utakata.
I think I'll watch more of Utakata, I liked it ^_^

Why would she be in a suit? Meh, It be better to see her and Ichino get together, which will never happen. Which is why I LOOOOVE fanfics.

I know this is kind of out of the question, but are you the same Rosa Chinesis who wrote the Marimite fanfic, "The Happiest Day of Your Life?" which is posted on Fanfic.net?

That picture is from Maria-sama ga Miteru Haru (spring) the second tv series of 13 episodes which goes from half way through Yumi's first year to summer of the second. The first OVA is set during that summer. It's a flash back.
The series are
Maria-sama ga Miteru 13 25 min eps
Maria-sama ga Miteru - Haru 13 25 min eps
Maria-sama ga Miteru OVA 5 50 minuite eps (possibly more it's not like ther're running out of material.)

I have yet to come across one with a story of my liking yet. Overall, I think I like Kannazuki No Miko for music and animation, but I like Strawberry Panic for character relationships, mainly, I still like Yaya and Hikari. I heard Marimite has the story I would want, but eh...If I can manage a way around the animation, I might get it in.

It's thread nercomancy week this week? LMAO.
My favorite shoujo-ai is Aoi Hana (Sweet Blue Flowers). I love the characters, plot, art, pretty much everything about it. Now if Lililicious scanlated the second volume, I would be a happy camper.

That is Rosa Gigantea--it's a flashback to when she was Rosa Gigantea en Bouton. It's from episode 11 of the first season. The other girl, Shiori, isn't a regular character in the series. She just appears in this flashback.

Don't worry, the first couple chapters of the second volume are coming soon. :)
We just hit some delays with chapter 8.
The scanlation is a joint effort with Kotonoha, by the way. They deserve lots of thanks too! :)

Oh thanks for the heads up! And sorry for forgetting the joint project thing. Thanks for the both of ya pretty much getting me into shoujo-ai.
Ergh, the anticipation kills me. I would go buy the volumes but I hafta wait for my fave Japanese secondhand bookstore to bring it in since it got the best selection of Japanese RAWS tankouban and other types in NYC.

I'd have to say my favorite is easily Maria-sama ga Miteru. Others I like were Kasimasi and Kannazuki no Miko (Though, I only liked this for the Shoujo-Ai and the music, not much else.)

Sure. It's no problem, we just didn't want to take credit for someone else's work. :)

Hope you're able to get it soon! There are some interesting developments in the second volume (though I suppose some things were already hinted at in the first volume).

Yamaji Ebine's works own my soul...I think Indigo Blue was the first one I read of hers...and I think its got a special place in my heart.
Uhm, also from Lililicious, I love Shibuya After School...It makes me so happy! Like, I feel lighter after I read it...Haha...
Heh. I would say something about Maka Maka, but I feel like I shouldnt utter its name in this forum...xDD
Marimite. Hands down...Best...ever...But I think everyone in this forum, by now, knows this.xDD
Oh! I want to read Blue too! Does anyone know if its scanlated?

Same here, except for me it was Love My Life. :)

Blue has been commercially translated, actually, by Ponent Mon and Fanfare. It used to only be available from comic shops, but it should be available in bookstores too these days. If you're buying it online, make sure you get the English one and not the Spanish one--the covers look similar.

o_o!! Wow, I really should have known that its been commercially translated. xD I feel like a bad shoujo-ai fan...Thank yoooou. :3
Despite the fact that Indigo Blue was the first work of her's I've read, I think I liked it more than the others because it also...seemed more familiar to me. Not that I've done any of the stuff in that book, of course...but...you know? The whole "I thought I was straight until I met this girl that made my heart...feel like it would make my chest explode" You know? I guess I shouldnt get into it. =P
Why do you like Love my Life so much? If you dont mind me asking, I just really respect your opinion, of course...So Im curious. xD Actually do you have a website or anything or a blog or something? Lol.
And and and have you read Between the Sheets? I can't decide if I like Sakurezawa's art style...

Yeah, I get what you're saying.

Hmm. I guess the plot really appealed to me? I liked that the characters were a little older than in most yuri manga (though of course they are in Indigo Blue as well), that the story had a happy ending, that the protagonist knew she was gay and came out to her father...
I do have a website and a blog. You can find links to both on the Lililicious links page (just look for the two links that mention Rosa Chinensis. The blog link points to just the yuri-related entries).
And and and have you read Between the Sheets? I can't decide if I like Sakurezawa's art style...
Yes, I have read Between the Sheets. I like Sakurazawa's art style, though I liked Love Vibes better than Between the Sheets in terms of storyline.
