Or I guess where it'd just be called femeslash.
Batman: Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Pretty much the biggest one I can think of. Paul Dini, the creative force behind the animated series and the creator of Halrey Quinn, spent a nice part of his writing career promoting them as a couple. He never went super, extremely blatant with it, but you'd have to be pretty stupid not to catch on. Has been featured in both the animated universe toons and comics, aswell as the regular DC universe. Possibly my favorite pairing!
Totally Spies: Definantly some undertones and subtext written into this show. Theres a possible three way with Sam/Alex/Clover. Alex is obviously the favorite though as shown in "Alex Quits" and "Truth or Scare." Also big hints for Mandy/Sam who I think would be adorable together. There have also been a couple of obviously lesbian minor characters including the archetypal butch, Donna Ramone.
Kim Possible: Possibly Kim/Shego. I just started watching this show, so I can't say whether this is valid or not, although both are pretty cool.
Winx Club: Heard this show has big doses of lesbian subtext, but I haven't picked up on any yet. Although, I'm really not interested enough to watch this very often. The girl voiced by Lisa Ortiz is mildly amusing though with her shameless use of stock, hip hop slang.
Show with huge femeslash folowing, but no shoujo-ai:
Teen Titans: Pretty much this show is devoid of it imo. There are legions of Raven/Starfire fans, but I don't think theres any indication of a anything more than a platonic relationship in the cartoon. In the comic book possibly there is, but I don't think they'll be using the Starfire impregnates Raven story-line any time soon in the cartoon. :P
Does anyone have anymore?

:teehee: how fun!~ really, i don't keep up with the femslash world at all... so i have only vague ideas, pleeze don't bash me. XD...
I had no idea that other people thought of Totally Spies, though i should have guessed. :P .... Personally, i've never really had any pairings in mind, but i remember thinking that there were hints between a lot of the girls, despite the "boy-craziness" most of them have.. though girls like that are just /asking/ for it. ><; Alex is my favorite.... *loves her* Sam x Mandy scares me though. o_o;; i'm terrified of Mandy. ><;;;
Teen Titans.. oh, i'm a fan of the Raven x Starfire thing. ^^- i do see hints of it here and there, but it might be my mind wanting something to happen. ._.'' there was that episode where Raven and Starfire get to know more about each other when the boys all get captured by that puppet guy... ? though that can be interperated platonically with no problems.. though ever since that episode they became much closer. ^^- and come on, they were /in/ each others bodies. -_-;;; the whole "starfire impregnates raven" scares the crap out of me though. O_O
umm. another series i thought of was WITCH.. i haven't seen much of it, and i don't know the characters very well, but thing is, they are cute... ^^; anyone have any theories and stuff here? o.o

Oh yea, I'm a Totally Spies fiend. After watching the show for long enough you definnalty begin picking up on all the subliminal stuff in it. Sam and Mandy definantly have a thing for eachother, although it probably doesn't get pursued at all becuase it would make Clover's head explode. I love how Mandy has pet-names for her like Sammykins and Sammalissy. There was also the episode where Mandy's life was in danger and Sam went into super, frantic rescue mode. Alex is also my favorite, you can't help yourself, shes such a sweet-heart.
And some awesome screen grabs I stole from the shojo-ai.com forum.

I so love Kim/Shego. Oh there's this artist on devianart who's just amazing. http://rinacat.deviantart.com/
^This artist is like master of Kim/Shego fanart!
I can't think of any others beside. I know the Totally Spies fandom is huge and so is the Teen Titans. I know there's more though. I'll post back later if it comes to me.

Yes, Alex/Sam is a good one, definantly some moments strictly between them. That may actually be the best way to go since Clover has taken the term "boy crazy" to new extremes (theres numerous references to how ****ty she is with guys for more cartoon inuendo fun).

none of those shows have any lesbian stuff in them especially winxclub. it has absolutely no lesbian content at all. all the girls are straight in all of those shows you mentioned

I didn't really pick up on too much lesbianism in totally spies. I don't know whether it's based on a comic or nor, but cartoons like that which are aimed at younger viewers would not be allowed to have any of that. Unless its very subtle. I probably missed something. They just seemed like a close trio to me. I did really dig their relationship though. One fo the few american cartoons I love. I didn't notice any of the Mandy/Sam stuff. I havent watched every episode, so maybe I'll check it out. And Sam was perhaps the slowest to get all lusty over a boy. That was more Clover's thing (Not a fan of Clover, btw.) Mandy/Sam, sounds like an interesting pairing. Alex is adorable.
I'm also a huge fan of Joe Harley Quinn, and yes, theres a truckload of stuff to suggest her and P. Ivy were/are together. Poison Ivy is as gay as they come, and Quinno was particulary vulnerable after the Joker rejected her. Again, its really subtle in the cartoons and is a lot more blatant in the comics (they do hang out a lot too. They even appear in Static Shock together,)
America, give us more girl slash!!!

Also as I said, i hate slash anyways, American anime slash is just...so far beyond anything I could ever imagine.

I think I saw some of that comic with Stacy and Grace, Promethea, or whatever it was. As far as I saw, their relationship was the central element, so they were definitely canon.
But... not very compelling. Maybe if I read about their courtship... (This is assuming I'm thinking of the right one.)
There's also a comic called Umbra, of which I read one issue. There is a canon lesbian couple, and they are the main characters. They also started having sex in the first issue... in the middle of a lake... and the setting was Iceland?
Then there's a comic, called Drain, about an ancient female vampire. Again, I read only one issue, and this melon-chested woman appears to mention some fling she had with the main character, right at the end.
Also, there is Strangers in Paradise... to be honest, it's the most compelling of all little lesbian blurbs I've read, but don't expect it to end well. Personally, I haven't read past the first graphic novel. It's basically a soap opera comic of sorts, and I'm feeling I should just let it end on a good note in my mind...?

Strangers In Paradise is one of the best comic books out there. I love it to death. Good plot going to it.
Anyway, 52, the DC comic has some "shoujo-ai" in it. Renee' Montoya and Batwoman. The comic is much more than that though, and is a current read or me.

I dont like how they turned batwoman into a lesbian. It seems they are just jumping on the bandwagon and trying, in vain, to attract a 'new audience.

As for Batwoman, yeah. Although Renee was one from the start. Poor two-face never stood a chance.

There's a site out there called The Gay League (do a Google search for "gay league") that lists queer characters in American comics. There's also a list at Wikipedia. The number of American comics with lesbian or bisexual women in them is probably quite a lot higher than you'd expect-- there are even more that aren't listed on those two sites.
My favorite is User. It's about a girl who gets into online RPGing. I also really like Y: The Last Man, mainly for 355, Dr. Mann, and Dr. Mann's girlfriend.
I've read the first few volumes of Promethea, but I didn't really get into it. The f/f relationship isn't really a focus of the comic anyway-- it only appears in a few issues.
There are some nice queer comics out there too, like Dykes to Watch Out For and Liliane. Liliane is a particular favorite of mine. :)
I could list favorites all day, but I'll restrain myself. lol

They're not canon couples though. Although I have seen a really well done fan comic about them. Raven tells Starfire not to hug her so much anymore, then gets all Emo because she misses her hugs. Weird I know, but cute nonetheless.

I think talking about her sexuality in depth would give away too much of the plot, so I'll just say that it's not easy to put her in one of those neat little boxes.
You can find some info on and teaser scans of User at the daily_yuri community on livejournal.
