The Next DVD you're planning to purchase

I'm thinking of buying "Azumanga Daioh" but I'm not sure how to buy it. There is the thin pack with the episodes and the normal DvDs with the extras. Which one should I buy? Are the extras worth it? About 35$ per dvd for 6 or 80$ for thin.

The extras on Azumanga Daioh are really nothing, just the normal creditless OP/ED & production sketches but the last volume includes a good extra. Its the Azumanga Daioh mini-movie;) Well its only 5 minutes long.

Some Azumanga Daioh volumes also come with pins but they are very limited. Hell, I bought the DVDs as they were being released & only got one volume that contained a pin<_<

Now there is a booklet with each volume that you'll miss as well. That contains tranation notes & such.

But just go with the thinpak.

I must be extremely lucky, then; I bought the individual DVDs a couple weeks before the thinpack was released, and I got all of the pins from their respective volumes. Then again, Fry's had a lot of LE DVDs for sale; they even had the Zeta boxset.

I don't buy too much anime. I have to really be into the series to grab a disc. But, the next thing i've got is the limited edition of the FullMetal Alchemist. I've got copies of alot of stuff, but I almost felt morally obligated to buy something that was FMA simply cuz the show was like super off the chain to me and gave me alot of fun times.

After that... I read that some company finally bought rights to a lost episode of Elfen Lied. I loved Elfen Lied alot but I don't own anything about it. I'm gonna buy that one outta respect. After that, I've got no clue.
