Just read Love Pistols vol. 1. There really should be more BL comedy like this.
I wish they'd release it faster though. They will take forever to get to the point where the scanlations stopped.

I've also read Iono-sama Fanatics vol. 1. Seems I've got the version 2 release which Infinity Studios did after some critiques. But I wonder why the only thing they've done is to change the title back to the original instead of doing something about the real problems like weird names and inconsistent use of honorifics.
They get a big plus for using dust jackets though.

I was expecting a girly Shuichi, but man...ve's really something<lolcoverthong>. Never have I seen an art style change a radically as Maki's did....it was actually funny, given how the character's fit their "popular style" time period (meaning, the older version of Yuki looks like he came out a page of Sailor Moon, ie early 90's) Now Shuichi I guess has gone the uke-moe route. >.> Meh, if his character still makes me laugh, than his looks shall be forgiven...I suppose.
How I haven't actually read the book yet, just commenting of the superficiality of it all.^^;

I haven't read much past volume one of the manga. But I have seen the anime series. In the anime, Kouya's ears are described as fake. In there, Yamato is teasing Kouya about wearing the fake ears. After Sei graduated, Shimako is little sad until Noriko Nijou meet her and they have a strong bond, etc. Will she forget Sei and begin to focus on Noriko? If someone want to have the relationship with Yumi for some reason, then I am wondering she will accept that despite strong relationship with Sachiko?

Overall, I enjoyed it so far. All characters are very great, and they have their own the character development. Astounding animation, beautiful characters, and excellent storyline. Should I add more? :P Sei is awesome character in Marimite. She's so funny and mysterious person. I admit I am little surprised that Sei want to be mature. Sei reminds me of Chikaru. I'm little sad at the ending. The ending is very good. Period.

Oh yeah, Strawberry Panic! should have Graduation day for Shizuma-sama, Miyuki, and others. I can't wait to download the third season. ^_^

In this particular case it's not that the Lililicious-Otenba sub team is too busy, it's that we've had a run of bad luck this summer (a bunch of technical problems, some health problems... don't even ask -_-;).
I've heard you can watch other people's subs of the last couple OVAs at crunchyroll. It's streaming video, so there are no torrents to worry about. :)

I decided to give the Utena TV series another try. And this time I actually finished it and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Much better than the manga. The characters got more development, which made them seem much more likeable compared to the manga. The only one I still had no sympathy for in the end was Akio.

While nothing really important happens in the first arc, it introduces the characters and setting, so you may have trouble following what happens later on.

The anime Legend of the Blue Wolves is the closest recommendation I can give you. I'm not sure whether it's bara or yaoi actually. I've never seen men with leg hair in any other yaoi anime. o.o

They aren't really hairy but they are buff (I guess). It's a short series involving rape with a grotesque fat man. You have been warned.

There are only two sex scenes in it and it isn't that explicit. But it's good - even though it reeks 80's. Corny music included. >_> There's lots of mecha too - if that's your thing. :)

There are a couple nice documentaries called Before Stonewall and After Stonewall that I would recommend if you're looking for something educational (nothing to do with that other person's request for smutty anime, to avoid any confusion). Stolen Moments is still my favorite movie on lesbian history, though.

Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito 1-4 - I'm little confusing, but it looks interesting to me. It's safe to say that it have the fanservice and I don't mind about fanservice. The storyline is not bad to me, but it have the non-linear plot, so it's difficult to follow. I liked it so far, at least.

Simoun 13-21 - Damn, this series was good as I thought! I have few questions, but I decided to wait until I will finish watching the final episode. Lots of WTF scenes. It was little depressing. The Emerald Ri Mājon was actually interesting. I finally watch Aaeru getting her first kiss from Neviril. I finally understand about Spring, of course, thanks to Mr. Tines and Videl helped me about Spring. Five episodes left to go! I can't wait to watch it this night!

Simoun 22-26 - Awesome series. I really loved the ending and this ending is my favorite so far. It felt hauntingly depressing to me. I noticed that it have yuri, yaoi, and transsexual elements. I will say it again, the Emerald Ri Mājon was really interesting. I applaud to the director for creates this wonderful series. I will buying DVDs for sure. I really should curb my habit of dismissing BL of the light variety...this was soooo good. Very touching in certain parts (lawl), completely silly in others...<3
Shame I'm so stuck on older titles that are often overlooked. Oh well, I'm going to try and get my hands on the manga to satisfy my fix.
I should mention, though, that the other ova, "Bronze" Since 1989 or whatever, I wasn't feeling that as much...the (almost) OCCness of Izumi...shaky animation for 1996 Production I.G/Madhouse and, worst of all....the horrid...pointy CHINS. (these men are supposedly 17...my has anime changed since with age confusion)

Color is a rely good one shot yaoi manga.It is one of my faves. It is not that hard core. But the story, artwork, the chara drawing, the chara development, the story development, and the romance that develops over time. And shows them developing a romantic, relationship first before they have sex. So in short this is a great manga, where everything is done right. And well balanced to, so make a great one shot yaoi manga. I think a great manga to get. It is about the two artist, who are painters who go to High School.

Most recent yuri would be Simoun and Maria Watches Over us. I despised Simoun....I couldn't even finish it. The story was blah and had too much politics. I ended up giving all my DVDs to my boyfriend. Thankfully, he enjoyed them a lot.
I am absolutely loving Maria, though. It's a beautiful anime that really sucks you in. I am anticipating getting the 3rd boxset in the mail. Hopefully it's here by Monday.
