if i really try, i can pull it off. i wish i could record it and show u guyz how its done, but i need a camera. its really hard to do that move tho. MJ pulls it off like its nothing. the key is to stay low, and not to take your arms out to far when you are ending the cross. thats all i can think of telling you. anyone here have their own custom moves? i have so many that i haven't named. and most are some that i have never pulled.

My friend, use the Edit button wisely and avoid the double double post! ;)

Double Crosssova is e-z! Lull your opponent with a simple not full speed crossover either way, get him to move, then pull back for the lethal second crossover. The key is low and deceptive body language/dribbling ( for the best body language dribbla, chck out Jeff McInnis), and really strong legs/center of balance. I can do this with ease leading to my right, half assing a cross over to my left, lull, then pulling back(sometimes pulling back and then faking and pull something) and leavin' my defender in the dust. Leading left is a different story, but doable, I just happen to shoot right and have a better lefthanded handle than my with my right hand.

I sure do love this game. ^_^ Haven't acutally broken somebody's ankles though. I wonder if that has ever actually happened. :unsure:

My best tip is to learn to driblle blindfolded or with your eyes closed. Feel the ball. Be the ball. The ball is only an extension of you. Another favorite trick of mine is to step back 1 or 2 steps mid driblle, see if your defender follows you, and if so, he's your Beeytotch, and you have him at your mercy.

To ease any confusion and perplexions, breaking ankles means juking you opponent to the point he breaks his ankles or falls.

i have known it to happen when someones ankles have actually been broken!!! ive never really done this before, but what i have done a few times is to make my opponent slip while trying to keep up with me. when i am really on a roll, i can dribble thru a whole team and get to the hoop with out anyone touching me.

i take your advice about dribbling with a blindfold, and would like to add on to it. dribble blindfolded helps you work on your dribbling without looking at the ball, but to really get full control of the ball, you need to have good hand coordination. what really helped me out a lot was dribbling with a small ball, or a tennis ball. lay down on the ground, and dribble the ball thru your legs. this may not seem to be good help. but it dramatically decreases the chances of your losing the ball while dribbling. its been a while since that happened to me.

and just as an ending note, i love basketball because you can trash talk your opponent, but if you cant back it up, the joke is on you. ive learned that personally a few times, but now am able to back it up.

They dribble the ball. They shoot the ball. They pass the ball. They use a BASKETBALL. I see a lot of similarities, and not too many differences. So are you telling me that NBA is the final authority on basketball? What about all the other leagues that have different sets of rules? And 1 has a different set of rules than the NBA, that doesn't mean it isn't basketball. I seriously don't see why people hate it so much. It's a lot more fun than watching NBA basketball. Fundamentals get old after a while.
