My favorite anime theme song ever has to be "Itooshii Hito no Tame ni" slow version opening theme song of Fushigi Yuugi. Hearing this song is just so calming and peaceful, actually anything romantic just makes my heart melt. I thought all music in Fushigi Yuugi is just like that, I love it so much!!

"READY STEADY GO" by L'Arc~en~Ciel (Fullmetal Alchemist Opening #2) is what I've decided to be my favorite. Every time I hear it, I just get this feeling of mixed happiness and sadness. It just makes me want to try even harder on everything I do. ^^;; Plus, it is Laruku, who wouldn't like that? :P

"The fourth avenue café" by L'Arc~en~Ciel (Rurouni Kenshin TV Ending #4) and "Wind" by AKEBOSHI (Naruto Ending #1) come in tied for second.

In my experience, nothing comes close to the soundtrack of bebop.

Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts did a masterful job. The mark of awesome music is beign able to listen to it even when one is not in an anime mood. Thus the Bebop soundtrack. You could play it in a jazz club and it wouldnt seem out of place.

currently...the song dat boosts me up is Kesenai Tsumi (1st ED for FullMetal Alchemist), Kanashimi wo Yasashisani (Naruto 3rd OP), Reason (GSEED Destiny 1st ED), PREDILICTION (Nittle Grasper), Hemisphere(Rahxephon), Midnight Blue(Slayers). Hmm, the song dat has a very good calming effect on me is Fields of Hope, Token of Water (GSEED), Heaven's Not Enough (Wolf's Rain), Aio Koete (Suikoden3), Tune The Rainbow(Sakamoto Maaya), Sora(Yoko Kanno)...and a hell lot more.
