I wonder how you managed to get 10-15 frames and stay under 20k...i put like 6-8 frames in and its a battle and end up cutting back to like 32 colors :D

Always depends on the scene. If theres a lot of colors where the scene moves and changes a lot the harder it is to fit in a smaller size.

I'v only used Ulead, I don't know if its better or worse. It could be worse, you have to edit every frame's size & position.

Thanks for the response :D I have a lot of time at work and a lot of anime at my disposal so i decided to make some to kill time :) One weird problem i have is making things look good in a small square :P Its easy with faces or people but harder with scenes (which usually want to be wide).

I sorta messed up though, I didn't notice until later but the brightness is high on these, so the the black isn't pitch black like I'd prefer but next time I'll try not make that mistake. I'm not really sure how it happened actually, I did get a new monitor for Christmas but I don't know how that could affect it.

I was wondering, would it be too much trouble to make an avatar of the part of the ending credits of Bleach, where Rukia is walking in her uniform? It's kind've an upwards shot, if I remember correctly...I've always thought that it was just meant to be looped, but I cannot find one anywhere...

I was just theorizing that one could take it frame-by-frame, erase the background, then take half of the clip and simply reverse it, taking care of the gap in her step (her arm swings to the top of its arc, then you just reverse-without the background, it would look fine)...

But, like I said, it would take forever...

The animators never made her fully walk. Its her legs that are the problem, not the arms. I guess it would work to fool people, but not for me-_-; Maybe I'm being nitpicky.

Oh, thats a great idea. Not sure if the avatars would be able to capture the great art though, some scenes have so much different colors that many will be lost when "converted" into avatars;)

I think I'll work on that series next.

Then you should have done it when it was on fansubs, because the huge gar factor doesnt kick in for quite a while.

Do you know where I might be able to find some avatars anywhere else? No offence, but I can't wait that long.

I don't like making avatars from fansubs most of the time, especially when I know its gonna be released on R1. The subs embedded into the video plus the video quality is worse. Although thats been changing with MKV files that seems to get more common every year.
Still, if theres a DVD release I'd rather just wait for that.

I don't know where else to find avatars of it but www.animesuki.com forum's has threads where people post gifs & avatars from shows but most are bigger than this site & need to be adjusted.

You spelled one of the series titles on your site wrong. "Tsukiyomi -MoonPhase-" is what it should be. Of course, it makes more sense just to list it as MoonPhase since that's the actual meaning of Tsukiyomi, there's no reason to have it twice.
